Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy (PDR) is a severe complication of diabetes that can lead to vision loss if not detected and managed promptly. This data analysis project aims to develop an advanced diagnostic system for PDR detection using retinal images. Going beyond conventional approaches, proposed a novel methodology that integrates multi-modal data and employs explainable artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to enhance accuracy and interpretability. The project utilizes a diverse dataset, including retinal images, patient histories, genetics, and lifestyle data. A multi-modal fusion framework extracts features capturing subtle Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy (PDR) variations. Alongside precise diagnosis, the study introduces longitudinal analysis for PDR progression *** model not only detects PDR but also provides transparent insights into its decision-making process, empowering clinicians to validate and understand the predictions. The proposed design involves using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to classify images of the retina into different stages of Diabetic Retinopathy. The model will be evaluated using the Confusion Matrix and True Value and Predicted Value Comparison. The outcomes of this project extend beyond conventional PDR detection by offering an interpretable AI-powered tool for clinicians. The system holds promise for revolutionizing PDR management, promoting early detection, and providing tailored interventions for patients. © 2024 IEEE.

Hybrid RMDL-CNN for speech recognition from unclear speech signal

ASR is an effectual approach, which converts human speech into computer actions or text format. It involves extracting and determining the noise feature, the audio model, and the language model. The extraction and determination of the noise feature is a crucial aspect of speech recognition, serving as both a process of information compression and signal deconvolution. ASR schemes are mostly employed in smart homes, smart appliances, and biometric schemes. Yet, traditional approaches offer very low performance because of a noisy environment. Moreover, local differences and accents negatively influence the ASR scheme execution during the conversion of the speech signals. This paper introduces a hybrid RMDL-CNN method to address these challenges. At first, the input of unclear speech is carried out by the dataset. Then, signal pre-processing is done by employing a Gaussian filter. After that, voice enhancement is accomplished by employing nonlinear spectral subtraction. Later, the speech word is segmented from the enhanced output based on the Attentional Encoder-Decoder approach and finally, the speech is recognized using the proposed RMDL-CNN. The RMDL-CNN method is devised by the combination of RMDL and CNN. Furthermore, the established RMDL-CNN is accessed for its efficiency based on several values of k-group value, as well as learning data. In addition, the introduced RMDL-CNN approach for speech recognition achieved better accuracy, PPV, as well as NPV of 0.909, 0.947, and 0.917 for dataset 1. Moreover, the RMDL-CNN has achieved the highest accuracy of 0.909, PPV of 0.926 and NPV of 0.888 for dataset 2. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

Differential Evolution Strategy with Chebyshev Chaos Based Mutation

Differential Evolution (DE) is a potent stochastic evolutionary optimization algorithm garnering increasing research attention. Over the years, it has been found applicable in solving diverse real-world problems. DE employs mutation, crossover, and selection operators to guide populations toward optimal or nearly optimal solutions. However, the standard DE mutation strategies have found limitations in balancing exploration and exploitation effectively, thus prompting research into possible improvements. This study introduces a novel mutation strategy named Chebyshev Infused Chaos Mutation Strategy (CICMS). where a chaotic sequence partially guides the process of donor vector generation. Rigorous evaluations were conducted, comparing our modified DE against the standard DE and seven other metaheuristic algorithms, including Genetic Algorithm, Particle Swarm Optimization and Gravitational Search Algorithm. Experiments were performed using the challenging CEC 2014 benchmark functions, consisting of 30 objective functions. Results indicate substantial improvements in convergence speed and solution quality, highlighting the potential of our novel mutation strategy to enhance DE’s practicality in addressing complex optimization problems. This research contributes valuable insights to the dynamic field of optimization algorithms with implications for a wide range of applications. © 2024, Taiwan Ubiquitous Information CO LTD. Due to the unclear distribution characteristics and causes of fluoride in groundwater of Mihe-Weihe River Basin(China),there is a higher risk for the future development and utilization of ***,based on the systematic sampling and analysis,the distribution features and enrichment mechanism for fluoride in groundwater were studied by the graphic method,hydrogeochemical modeling,the proportionality factor between conventional ions and factor *** results show that the fluorine content in groundwater is generally on the high side,with a large area of medium-fluorine water(0.5–1.0 mg/L),and high-fluorine water is chiefly in the interfluvial lowlands and alluvial-marine plain,which mainly contains HCO_(3)·Cl-Na-and HCO_(3)^(-)Na-type *** vertical zonation characteristics of the fluorine content decrease with increasing depth to the water *** high flouride groundwater during the wet season is chiefly controlled by the weathering and dissolution of fluorine-containing minerals,as well as the influence of rock weathering,evaporation and *** weak alkaline environment that is rich in sodium and poor in calcium during the dry season is the main reason for the enrichment of ***,an integrated assessment model is established using rough set theory and an improved matter element extension model,and the level of groundwater pollution caused by fluoride in the Mihe-Weihe River Basin during the wet and dry seasons in the Shandong Peninsula is defined to show the necessity for local management measures to reduce the potential risks caused by groundwater quality.

Manhattan-based k-member clustering and enhanced rabbit optimization algorithm for k-anonymization in social network

Online social networks are becoming more and more popular, according to recent trends. The user's primary concern is the secure preservation of their data and privacy. A well-known method for preventing individual identity in publicly accessible datasets is K-anonymization. Existing anonymity techniques' primary drawback is that they're susceptible to similarity and attribute disclosure attacks. Furthermore, a large amount of data has been lost in the given database. To address this limitation, the proposed model integrated an anonymizing algorithm with Manhattan-based k-member clustering and an enhanced rabbit optimization algorithm (MKCAEROA). The Manhattan distance-based k member (MKCA) clustering algorithm is employed in this case to cluster the initial database. The resulting clusters are then further optimized, and the original database is made anonymous, using the enhanced rabbit optimization algorithm (EROA). In the suggested model, EROA is included to satisfy the specified anonymity constraints while concurrently minimizing the clustering error rate and the generated information loss. When compared to existing approaches, the experimental results demonstrate that the suggested method provides the highest clustering accuracy with the least amount of information loss. Hybrid millimeter wave heterogeneous networks with spatially correlated user equipment

In this paper,we analyze a hybrid Heterogeneous Cellular Network(HCNet)framework by deploying millimeter Wave(mmWave)small cells with coexisting traditional sub-6GHz macro cells to achieve improved coverage and high data *** consider randomly-deployed macro base stations throughout the network whereas mmWave Small Base Stations(SBSs)are deployed in the areas with high User Equipment(UE)*** user centric deployment of mmWave SBSs inevitably incurs correlation between UE and *** a realistic scenario where the UEs are distributed according to Poisson cluster process and directional beamforming with line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight transmissions is adopted for mmWave *** using tools from stochastic geometry,we develop an analytical framework to analyze various performance metrics in the downlink hybrid HCNets under biased received power *** UE clustering we considered Thomas cluster process and derive expressions for the association probability,coverage probability,area spectral efficiency,and energy *** also provide Monte Carlo simulation results to validate the accuracy of the derived ***,we analyze the impact of mmWave operating frequency,antenna gain,small cell biasing,and BSs density to get useful engineering insights into the performance of hybrid mmWave *** results show that network performance is significantly improved by deploying millimeter wave SBS instead of microwave BS in hot spots.

Data-driven output regulation control for constrained linear systems

This study introduces a data-driven approach for state and output feedback control addressing the constrained output regulation problem in unknown linear discrete-time systems. Our method ensures effective tracking performance while satisfying the state and input constraints, even when system matrices are not available. We first establish a sufficient condition necessary for the existence of a solution pair to the regulator equation and propose a data-based approach to obtain the feedforward and feedback control gains for state feedback control using linear programming. Furthermore, we design a refined Luenberger observer to accurately estimate the system state, while keeping the estimation error within a predefined set. By combining output regulation theory, we develop an output feedback control strategy. The stability of the closed-loop system is rigorously proved to be asymptotically stable by further leveraging the concept of λ-contractive sets.
