A Novel Fuzzy Marine White Shark Optimization Based Efficient Routing and Enhancing Network Lifetime in MANET

A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is an independent wireless temporary network established by employing a set of mobile nodes (i.e. laptops, smartphones, iPods, etc.) appropriate for the environment in which the network infrastructures are not fixed. The most common problems faced by MANET are energy efficiency, high energy consumption, low network lifetime as well as high traffic overhead which create an impact on overall network topology. Hence, it is necessary to provide an energy-effective CH election to take steps against such issues. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel model to enhance the network lifetime and energy efficiency by performing a routing strategy in MANET. In this paper, an optimal CH is selected by proposing a novel Fuzzy Marine White Shark optimization (FMWSO) algorithm which is obtained by integrating fuzzy operation with two optimization algorithms namely the marine predator algorithm and white shark optimizer. The proposed approach comprises three diverse stages namely Generation of data, Cluster Generation and CH selection. A novel FMWSO algorithm is proposed in such a way to determine the CH selection in MANET thereby enhancing the network topology, network lifetime and minimizing the overhead rate, and energy consumption. Finally, the performance of the proposed FMWSO approach is compared with various other existing techniques to determine the effectiveness of the system. The proposed FMWSO approach consumes minimum energy of 0.62 mJ which is lower than other approaches.

In recent decades,fog computing has played a vital role in executing parallel computational tasks,specifically,scientific workflow *** cloud data centers,fog computing takes more time to run workflow ***,it is essential to develop effective models for Virtual Machine(VM)allocation and task scheduling in fog computing *** task scheduling,VM migration,and allocation,altogether optimize the use of computational resources across different fog *** process ensures that the tasks are executed with minimal energy consumption,which reduces the chances of resource *** this manuscript,the proposed framework comprises two phases:(i)effective task scheduling using a fractional selectivity approach and(ii)VM allocation by proposing an algorithm by the name of Fitness Sharing Chaotic Particle Swarm Optimization(FSCPSO).The proposed FSCPSO algorithm integrates the concepts of chaos theory and fitness sharing that effectively balance both global exploration and local *** balance enables the use of a wide range of solutions that leads to minimal total cost and makespan,in comparison to other traditional optimization *** FSCPSO algorithm’s performance is analyzed using six evaluation measures namely,Load Balancing Level(LBL),Average Resource Utilization(ARU),total cost,makespan,energy consumption,and response *** relation to the conventional optimization algorithms,the FSCPSO algorithm achieves a higher LBL of 39.12%,ARU of 58.15%,a minimal total cost of 1175,and a makespan of 85.87 ms,particularly when evaluated for 50 tasks.

The Internet of Things (IoT) facilitates the delivery of intelligent services by sensing, gathering, processing, and exchanging data from millions of linked smart devices. The Internet of Things (IoT), which is based on communication infrastructure, provides real-time cyber-physical device monitoring, control, and sensing, such as electric autos. Traditional communication infrastructure's vulnerability to cyberattacks hampered IoT's capacity to investigate these potential applications. This study proposes an algorithm for monitoring and controlling electric vehicles through the Internet of Things communication network to prevent fake data injection attacks. A state-space model depicts a fully autonomous electric car equipped with a vision system. Intelligent sensors and actuators from the Internet of Things are utilized to monitor and change system conditions, compensating for the large distance between the electric car and the control center. Sensing data is delivered from the vehicle to the central command center via an insecure, attack-prone communication path. The mean square error approach is used to derive states in the most effective state estimation system for comprehending and showing autos. A semi-definite programming approach is used to create an optimal control algorithm to manage the vehicle states. The simulation results show how precisely and successfully the proposed algorithms can foresee and regulate a vehicle's state. © (2024), (International Association of Engineers). Enabling technology Integrated Learning for Autistic Children Using Augmented Reality Based Cognitive Rehabilitation

Augmented reality (AR)-based rehabilitation is an excellent teaching tool (ICT tool) for simulating daily activities for autistic children. Children with autism may become more mentally capable with this type of AR-based rehabilitation. It is intended to observe the children's performance in terms of concentration, attention, and identification. The observation has been done through placards as a target image to display the 3D objects on a mobile phone or tablet. In this project, observations are made for 21 autism children in the age group of 7–14, out of whom 17 are boys and 5 are girls. Those 21 children are given practice identifying 15 different objects in an augmented reality environment. Their performance was initially evaluated using conventional instructional techniques. The majority of the kids were having more difficulty identifying things during that observation. Then, with an Augmented Reality environment, the identical observation has been made once more. Using a mobile device or tablet, the 3D objects from the provided placard photos are produced in an augmented reality environment with animation and voice in the languages of English and Tamil. Children with autism are able to recognize and also grasp the behaviors of those objects while viewing them in 3D. Their efforts are measured using a two-point scale (0, 1, 2). The pre-assessment and post-assessment reports for the above observations are tabulated. All the observations are made in the presence of the special education teacher (therapist). However, the children observed in this project fall into three different categories: mild, moderate, and severe. In the Mild category, statistical significance is evident with p values of 0.002 in pre-assessment and 0.014 in post-assessment. Likewise, in the Moderate category, where p values are 0.023 in pre-assessment and 0.033 in post-assessment, significance is observed, as all p values fall below the chosen significance level of 0.05. Web service discovery with incorporation of web services clustering

With the rapid growth and adoption of web-based technologies, more and more service providers offer various services on the web. This can facilitate the organizations to develop business applications using web services composition over the Internet according to their business requirements. The primary requirement for developing composite web service is to discover the most relevant web service for realizing each function of the required composite web service. Finding the most relevant web service is still a challenging task. In this paper, we propose web service discovery approach that incorporates web services clustering. Clustering technique combines latent Dirichlet allocation(LDA) and k-Medoids and reduces search space for web service discovery. Web service discovery uses a match-making algorithm that utilizes WordNet database and Hungarian method to compute the semantic similarity score for a web service based on the requested query. Experimental results show that the proposed approach performs better than LDA-based approach. © 2019 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

Autoencoder-Based Architecture for Identification and Mitigating Phishing URL Attack in IoT Using DNN

As a new and potentially devastating form of cyberattack, ‘Phishing’ URLs pose a risk to users by impersonating legitimate websites in an effort to obtain sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and financial details. At least two-thirds of persons were hit by these phishing assaults in 2016, according to a survey (Gopal et al. in IOP Conference Series: Materials science and engineering, vol. 1055, no. 1, p. 012072. IOP Publishing). Therefore, these attacks must be addressed carefully to prevent financial losses. In order to detect and prevent new kinds of assault, in addition to the ones already in use, a defense mechanism that can learn the possibilities of attacks is required. In the IoT (Internet of Things), everything is managed remotely via a web address (URL). So, intruders can simply gain access to the controls by stealing the URL used to access them from a distant location. To identify and prevent access to phishing sites at the network layer, we offer an approach that combines a deep neural networks (DNN) model with autoencoders. In order to train the model for feature reduction, an autoencoder sends it a dataset that includes both legitimate and phishing domains to analyze. The effectiveness of the suggested approach has been tested on a number of datasets, including Open phish, UCI, Mendeley, and PhishTank. For the multiclassification dataset, these metrics for this design are: 92.89% accuracy, 93.07% recall, 92.75% precision, and 92.21% F1-score. © 2023, The Institution of Engineers (India).

This multi-center randomized controlled trial explores the therapeutic benefits of Indian classical music, specifically “Raga Therapy,” for managing diabetes, thyroid disorders, and hypertension—prevalent global health issues. The study examines how specific Ragas can enhance traditional treatments: Bhimpalas and Chhanayat for hypertension, Malkauns and Bhupal Todi for diabetes, and Shyam Kalyan and Yaman for thyroid disorders. Results show significant health improvements in patients integrating Raga Therapy into their care, highlighting its holistic benefits. The study underscores the profound connection between music and healing, positioning Indian classical music as a valuable complementary therapy. By addressing a critical gap in the literature, it advocates for further research to understand the mechanisms involved and refine Raga selection for optimal therapeutic outcomes. © Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management 2024.

The patient health prediction system is the most critical study in medical research. Several prediction models exist to predict the patient's health condition. However, a relevant result was not attained because of poor quality. The IoT-sensed data contains more noise content, which maximizes the complexity of the health prediction. These demerits resulted in low prediction and performance scores. So the proposed work aims to develop a novel Coati-based Recurrent Digital Twin Framework (CbRDTF) to predict the patients' health conditions. The novelty of this research lies in the combined function of the coati optimization and recurrent network with the digital twin for health prediction. Initially, the IoT-sensed data was imported, the data were preprocessed, and meaningful features were selected. Then predict the health condition of the patients and classify the conditions. Here the incorporated coati function at the classification layer extracted the relevant features from the sensed medical data for the robust prediction and also modified the parameters of the recurrent digital twin to improve the prediction and classification accuracy. Finally, the performance was measured;the presented model attained a high exactness score of 99.81% in the prediction accuracy, recall, f-value, and precision;it also, validated the computation time of 611.81 s. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.
