Modified microstrip fed of pentagon shape aperture coupling with RDRA for 5G wireless application

In this paper, a rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (RDRA) with modified microstrip feed is proposed. A pentagon-shaped aperture coupling with a bifurcated modified microstrip-line (MSTL) was used to excite the DRA element on the FR4 substrate's backside, resulting in a 3.8 GHz band. Optimizing the design parameters yields a 10% increase in impedance bandwidth, covering frequencies between 3.08 and 3.8 GHz. Maximum gain and radiation efficiency are shown to be 4.85 dB and 90%, respectively, in the operational band using the proposed DRA. As a result, the proposed antenna may be appropriate for use in 5G NR band systems. © 2021 Elsevier Ltd

This manuscript deems the proposal over utilization of computer digitized vision over the gesture recognition. Gesture language is a language that determines the requirement over combining the finger gesture, its orientation, arm and hand movement, facial & body expression that simultaneously explores and advertises the people thoughts. The digital camera makes the recording of live motion streams of pictures with which the acquisition of image is made with the assistance of interface. The training of system is made over each sort of Figureureureureure gestures as representing (5,4,3,2 or 1) atleast in a single time. Later on, the test symbol is delivered and the system makes a try for detecting it. In this proposed study the detection of Figureureureureure gestures is made using the strategy of image processing. The system makes the detection of cumulative finger count. Later on, it makes the identification of individual fingers above the palm. During the processing, it initially makes the detection of skin tone (Color) from the acquired image by the utilization of filter. The image is allowed to process through subsequent steps in order to depict the correct count of fingers. The model makes the detection over the nearer point from the threshold value. The detection of image is made as per the centroid value. Later on, the implication of certain steps is made for enhancing the normal image to an efficient image so that the exposure of fingers is made. Finally, the model makes the detection and decides the finger count and advertises the calculation to the tester. As a result, the classification is done using artificial neural networks based on the previously formulated training model that has been built and realized with more than 92.5% of accuracy in the finger gesture recognition. RoadFormer: Duplex Transformer for RGB-Normal Semantic Road Scene Parsing

The recent advancements in deep convolutional neural networks have shown significant promise in the domain of road scene parsing. Nevertheless, the existing works focus primarily on freespace detection, with little attention given to hazardous road defects that could compromise both driving safety and comfort. In this article, we introduce RoadFormer, a novel Transformer-based data-fusion network developed for road scene parsing. RoadFormer utilizes a duplex encoder architecture to extract heterogeneous features from both RGB images and surface normal information. The encoded features are subsequently fed into a novel heterogeneous feature synergy block for effective feature fusion and recalibration. The pixel decoder then learns multi-scale long-range dependencies from the fused and recalibrated heterogeneous features, which are subsequently processed by a Transformer decoder to produce the final semantic prediction. Additionally, we release SYN-UDTIRI, the first large-scale road scene parsing dataset that contains over 10,407 RGB images, dense depth images, and the corresponding pixel-level annotations for both freespace and road defects of different shapes and sizes. Extensive experimental evaluations conducted on our SYN-UDTIRI dataset, as well as on three public datasets, including KITTI road, CityScapes, and ORFD, demonstrate that RoadFormer outperforms all other state-of-the-art networks for road scene parsing. Deep ensemble model for skin cancer classification with improved feature set

Early identification of skin cancer is mandatory to minimize the worldwide death rate as this disease is covering more than 30% of mortality rates in young and adults. Researchers are in the move of proposing advanced models for the accurate classification of skin disease. This paper introduces a novel skin cancer detection model under the stages of preprocessing, feature extraction, classification as well as segmentation. The given input is first preprocessed via Gaussian filtering. Subsequently, the Deep learning model termed as ‘U-net’ is used for the segmentation process. Afterward, the extraction of the feature set including features like Improved Center symmetric Local Binary Pattern (ICS-LBP), Local Gradient Pattern (LGP), Median binary pattern (MBP) is performed. Classification takes place using Deep Ensemble Model based on the extracted features, that includes BiGRU, Deep Maxout, and Improved Deep Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), respectively. Also, as the hyperparameter tuning of the classification model enhances the performance, this work introduces a new Hybrid Atom and Arithmetic Operation Algorithm (HAAOA) algorithm for tuning the optimal weights of the Bi-GRU (Bi-directional Gated Recurrent Unit) and Deep Maxout model. At last, the validation of the proposed work is performed through different performance measures by comparing it with different algorithms. Accordingly, accuracy of the adopted method at 90th learning percentage is 93.56%, which is (~) 82.63%, 85.15%, 84.98%, 83.66% and 83.42% better than AOA, ASO, BWO, BMO and DO, respectively. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

This research looks at microwave devices, specifically, patch antenna along with electromagnetic spectrum, shape, mechanism, analytical methods, simulation tools, and feeding procedures. Patch antennas are distinguished by their rectangular form, with a patch on one side and a ground plane on the other. Patch antennas work by exciting electromagnetic waves inside the patch, which are subsequently transmitted into the surrounding environment. The report also outlines numerous ways for evaluating the performance of microstrip patch antennas. The electromagnetic characteristics of the antenna are analyzed using the transmission line model, cavity model, and multiport network model (MNM). The integral equations that regulate the behavior of the antenna are solved using the method of moments (MoM) and the finite element method (FEM). The spectral domain technique (SDT) is used to analyze the antenna’s frequency response, while the finite difference time domain (FDTD) approach is used to analyze the antenna’s time-domain behavior. Overall, these methodologies give a thorough understanding of microstrip patch antenna performance and may be utilized to optimize their design. Furthermore, several patch antenna feeding methods, such as probe feed, microstrip line feeding, aperture coupling, proximity coupling, and CPW feed, are investigated. Attaching a microstrip line to the patch, which is subsequently linked to the RF source, is what microstrip line feeding entails. Aperture coupling entails making a hole in the ground plane that allows the RF source to feed the patch directly. Proximity coupling is accomplished by placing a probe near the patch, which creates an electromagnetic field on the patch. Patch antenna simulation software includes programmers such as HFSS, CST, and FEKO. These tools simulate the patch antenna’s performance, including its radiation pattern, gain, and input impedance. Delineation of retinal vessels in fundus images is essential for detecting a range of eye disorders. An automated technique for vessel segmentation can assist clinicians and enhance the efficiency of the diagnostic process. Traditional methods fail to extract multiscale information, discard unnecessary information, and delineate thin vessels. In this paper, a novel residual U-Net architecture that incorporates multi-scale feature learning and effective attention is proposed to delineate the retinal vessels precisely. Since drop block regularization performs better than drop out in preventing overfitting, drop block was used in this study. A multi-scale feature learning module was added instead of a skip connection to learn multi-scale features. A novel effective attention block was proposed and integrated with the decoder block to obtain precise spatial and channel information. Experimental findings indicated that the proposed model exhibited outstanding performance in retinal vessel delineation. The sensitivities achieved for DRIVE, STARE, and CHASE_DB datasets were 0.8293, 0.8151 and 0.8084, respectively. © 2024the Author(s).

Efficient resource management within Internet of Things(IoT)environments remains a pressing challenge due to the increasing number of devices and their diverse *** study introduces a neural network-based model that uses Long-Short-Term Memory(LSTM)to optimize resource allocation under dynam-ically changing *** to monitor the workload on individual IoT nodes,the model incorporates long-term data dependencies,enabling adaptive resource distribution in real *** training process utilizes Min-Max normalization and grid search for hyperparameter tuning,ensuring high resource utilization and consistent *** simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method,outperforming the state-of-the-art approaches,including Dynamic and Efficient Enhanced Load-Balancing(DEELB),Optimized Scheduling and Collaborative Active Resource-management(OSCAR),Convolutional Neural Network with Monarch Butterfly Optimization(CNN-MBO),and Autonomic Workload Prediction and Resource Allocation for Fog(AWPR-FOG).For example,in scenarios with low system utilization,the model achieved a resource utilization efficiency of 95%while maintaining a latency of just 15 ms,significantly exceeding the performance of comparative methods.
