Drug usage is a significant global economic issue that results in countless losses. This study suggests a convolutional neural network-based image processing method for identifying drugged eyes. The front-end packages already in use for this article collect information from eye images using the CNN algorithm. However, it can take some time. As a result, the suggested approach may be used to swiftly and automatically identify drugged eyes. The acquisition of the input image, picture pre-processing, and image processing are the main processes in the suggested *** the reddish regions, emphasising the afflicted regions, confirming the training set, and presenting the findings. Some eyes may go unnoticed, such those that have been socially poisoned. This technique was tried on drugged eyes at different phases, both with and without drug consumption. The technique was used to find a white region of the eye in a given input picture. Images of both drugged and unaffected eyes were presented for training purposes. In order to choose the optimum colour model for this strategy, photos were first transformed to colour models. The Support Erosion technique and the Local Binary Pattern were both used in the model construction for feature extraction. This technique can detect drugged eyes with an average accuracy of 95%. © 2023 IEEE.

This research paper introduces an innovative Neural Machine Translation (NMT) model designed to accurately translate causative English sentences into Malayalam. The study comprehensively explores the various forms of causative sentences utilized in both English and Malayalam, focusing on syntactic and semantic differences. Additionally, it delves into the limitations of current translation models such as Google Translator in accurately translating causative constructs. To address these challenges and enhance translation accuracy, a collaborative effort with professional linguists in both languages led to the creation of a rich dataset. The dataset comprises a diverse collection of causative sentences, covering tense variations, singular and plural forms, noun and verb classes, as well as sentence forms involving non-human and animate-human subjects. This model integrates essential components including tokenization, Part of Speech (POS) tagging, tense identification, suffix identification and addition, and sentence reordering for improved translation. Comparative evaluations between the Google Translator and the newly developed system were conducted based on translation accuracy and fluency. The evaluation revealed that the novel NMT model consistently outperforms existing translation systems, demonstrating superior translation results. The findings underscore the effectiveness and potential of the proposed NMT model in advancing causal English to Malayalam translation, offering valuable insights for the improvement of machine translation systems. © 2023 IEEE.

This research looks into how deep learning methods can be used to find fake Bitcoin transfers. It's mostly about the unique problems and chances that come with trading in cryptocurrencies and blockchain. Deep learning models are used to look at transaction trends and find oddities that could be signs of fraud. This is because Bitcoin's open structure makes it harder to use traditional methods of fraud detection. We offer a structure that connects CNNs (convolutional neural networks) and RNNs (recurrent neural networks) so that strange patterns can be found in big sets of blockchain transactions. An AI-driven method aims to improve detection accuracy while lowering false positives by taking on scammers' complicated and always-changing strategies. Experienced researchers have shown that the model is good at finding strange things, which means it can be used to safely stop theft in Bitcoin networks in real time. It looks like deep learning could make digital money safer and give us data that can be used in bigger blockchain-based money systems. © 2025 IEEE.

The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is changing healthcare through the use of the Internet to connect medical devices, apps, and systems. This helps improve patient care, makes healthcare more efficient, and improves health outcomes. This paper deals with the edge-fog-cloud computing architectures for Internet of Health applications. Remote patient monitoring is done by collecting the data from wearable health devices, processing at different communication levels, applying intelligent algorithms and providing insights to the patient and healthcare professionals. This paper reviews the IoMT architecture and how the entire workflow is managed at device, edge, fog, and cloud levels. The paper also discusses IoMT challenges, such as data security and privacy concerns due to the interconnectedness and interoperability of devices at each layer and hurdles for seamless data integration within healthcare networks. © 2024 IEEE.

Business executives are developing cutting-edge digital solutions as the virus outbreak spreads. A face mask detection system is one of them, and it can be used to spot people wearing them. Face mask identification software and applications have already been released by a few businesses, and others have promised to do the same for the service. The proposed work examines face mask detection accuracy using CNN networks. Mask wear is now required in many developed and developing countries worldwide when leaving the house or entering public spaces. It will be difficult to maintain touchless access control in buildings while recognising faces wearing masks on any surveillance systems. Masks covering faces has made face detection algorithms and performance difficult. The proposed work detect face mask labeled no mask or mask with detection accuracy. The work train the system to click images of a face and provide labeled data. The work is classified using Convolution Neural Network (CNN), a Deep learning technique, to classify the input image with the help of the classification algorithm MobileNetV2. The trained system shows whether a person in the video frame is wearing a mask or not. © 2023 IEEE.

Predicting stock market bubbles is indispensable for risk control and refinement of trading strategies. Therefore, this study presents a Machine-Learning Framework to detect price bubble formations based on Support Vector Machine (SVM) and through important technical indicators. Among these are momentum indicators, such as the Relative Strength Index (RSI), and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) histogram, which are complemented with volatility measures from Bollinger Bands and with normalized volume indicators, all to improve predictive accuracy. Recent historical stock data were fed to the model during training and testing, yielding exceptional accuracy: 98.54% on the test set and 98.95% on the training set. The performance evaluation was carried out based on Classification Reports, Confusion Matrices, Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve, and Precision-Recall metrics, thus confirming the performance efficiency of the developed framework. With this approach, bubbles' early detection allows traders and analysts a powerful tool to make informed decisions in risk mitigation or strategic enhancement. © 2025 IEEE.

In the contemporary digital realm, the utilization of online services has surged, facilitated by the seamless integration of deep learning technology, which is paramount in applications demanding precision and efficiency. A pivotal use case in this context is online handwritten signature verification, where the need for exceptional accuracy is indisputable. This paper introduces ‘Signa-Deep, ’ an innovative approach designed to address the challenge of online signature verification and the determination of an individual’s authorization status. The study explores a range of methodologies, including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), GoogleNet, and MobileNet, to discern the authenticity of signatures and affirm the identity of the signatory. The results of our proposed method are promising, showcasing its potential to significantly enhance the security of digital transactions and identity verification processes. In the era of machine learning we are solving the classification problems by training the labeled classes. But sometimes due to insufficient data in some of the training classes, the system training is inadequate for these minority classes. In this case the output for the classes obtained from the less amount of trained data are miserably inappropriate and biased towards the classes having more data. This problem is known as a class imbalance problem. In such cases, standard classifiers tend to be overpowered by the expansive classes and disregard the little ones. As a result, the performance of machine learning and the deep learning algorithms are also reducing and sometimes highly unacceptable too, mainly if it is related to crucial data like medical and health related. Though various researchers provided some methods to solve this problem but mostly they are problem specific and suitable with the specific classifier only. To find a generalized and effective solution to this problem, we have applied various smote variants for solving the imbalanced factors in dataset and finally improved the performance of the various machine learning and deep learning algorithms. We have experimented and analyzed the effects of SMOTE variants on various machine learning techniques over six standard medical datasets. We have found that SMOTE variants are very effective, and they improve the standard performance measures (Accuracy, Precision, Recall and F1-Score). Additionally, based on our research, it is feasible to determine which smote variation works best with machine learning methods and datasets. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
