In recent years,the number of Gun-related incidents has crossed over 250,000 per year and over 85%of the existing 1 billion firearms are in civilian hands,manual monitoring has not proven effective in detecting *** is why an automated weapon detection system is *** automated convolutional neural networks(CNN)weapon detection systems have been proposed in the past to generate good ***,These techniques have high computation overhead and are slow to provide real-time detection which is essential for the weapon detection *** models have a high rate of false negatives because they often fail to detect the guns due to the low quality and visibility issues of surveillance *** research work aims to minimize the rate of false negatives and false positives in weapon detection while keeping the speed of detection as a key *** proposed framework is based on You Only Look Once(YOLO)and Area of Interest(AOI).Initially,themodels take pre-processed frames where the background is removed by the use of the Gaussian blur *** proposed architecture will be assessed through various performance parameters such as False Negative,False Positive,precision,recall rate,and F1 *** results of this research work make it clear that due to YOLO-v5s high recall rate and speed of detection are *** reached 0.010 s per frame compared to the 0.17 s of the Faster *** is promising to be used in the field of security and weapon detection.

We present a new typology for classifying signals from robots when they communicate with humans. For inspiration, we use ethology, the study of animal behaviour and previous efforts from literature as guides in defining the typology. The typology is based on communicative signals that consist of five properties: the origin where the signal comes from, the deliberateness of the signal, the signal's reference, the genuineness of the signal, and its clarity (i.e., how implicit or explicit it is). Using the accompanying worksheet, the typology is straightforward to use to examine communicative signals from previous human-robot interactions and provides guidance for designers to use the typology when designing new robot behaviours. © 2023 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

In analyzing and recognizing wrist pulse signals, it isn’t easy to mine the nonlinear information of wrist pulse signals using analysis methods such as time and frequency. Traditional machine learning methods require the manual definition of features and cannot perform self-learning of features. A cognitive digital twin technique for pulse analysis and recognition based on threshold-less recursive graph and CNN is proposed. The wrist pulse signal is converted into a threshold-free recursive graph based on the nonlinear dynamics’ theory. The VGG-16 CNN automatically extracts the nonlinear features of the recursive graph, and a pulse condition classification model is established. Experimental finding several that the classification of the proposed method accuracy can reach 98.14%, as compared with the existing pulse classification methods. This study offers a novel concept and strategy for classifying pulse signals, and it has application to the objectification of pulse diagnosis. © 2025 The Author(s).

Cloud-based processes store enormous amounts of data to support several daily applications, especially in intelligent systems and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications. The advancement of hosted cloud storage services endorses the productivity of IIoT applications. It is critical to enabling businesses to increase data security, privacy, efficiency, accessibility, and flexibility. There are many concerns for cloud providers, including storage overhead, upload/download bandwidth, and data security and privacy. Utilizing secure data deduplication technology, cloud service providers may maximize their available storage capacity, resulting in effective and secure disk space use. This review focuses on a comparative study of secure data deduplication mechanisms for cloud-based applications, including MD5 and various versions of SHA. These techniques remove duplicate data in different storage levels and enhance users’ data integrity, confidentiality, and privacy protection. It is computationally more efficient than traditional compression methods, which may support IoT applications to manage the exponential growth of their data. Language acquisition is an integral part of early schooling, but young English language learners struggle to learn vocabulary and syntax since they are not provided with specialized instruction. Conventional teaching may vary according to different learning speeds and it leads to unbalanced levels of proficiency among students and possibly leading to disengagement among slow learners. The present computer-assisted learning aids provide practice interactively but without real-time adaptation and personalized feedback, limiting their capacity to address learners’ unique problems. To overcome these constraints, this study suggests an Artificial Intelligence based personalized learning system that supports vocabulary and syntax learning via adaptive learning models, NLP-based chatbots and gamified interactive lessons. The system dynamically adapts content according to students’ most recent performance in real time to enable a personalized learning experience, which results in efficient Learning. The research has experimental study design, and two groups are considered, an AI-supported learning group and a traditional learning group. Pre-test and post-test design measures the effects of the system on vocabulary recall and syntax correctness. Other learner engagement rates like survey results and qualitative feedback inform learner experience and learning efficacy. Initial results indicate that learners working with the Artificial Intelligence powered learning system gained 25percent in recalling vocabulary and 30percent in syntax accuracy over the control group. Further, learner engagement rates are elevated because of real-time feedback and gamification components. These results emphasize the promise of AI-based personalized learning to boost language acquisition and lay the basis for further effective innovations in adaptive education technologies. © (2025), (science and Information Organization). The Fiat-Shamir with Aborts paradigm of Lyubashevsky introduced efficient lattice based signatures. We have used lattice based signature to design post quantum blockchain design. But the blockchain is always consisting of many nodes depending upon participants, then we require an efficient aggregate signature technique to verify nodes efficiently. We have designed a blockchain using fast post quntum secure tool called module lattices. Module lattices provide both security and efficiency based on two assumptions, (1) Module Learning With Errors, and (2) Module Short Integer Solution respectively. The proposed blockchain design ensures security of Internet of Things devices against quantum attacks. The design provides a better secure environment for Internet of Things. Blockchain technology has been used to combine fixed number of IoT nodes. This makes the communication efficient, and the aggregate signature has been used to provide the security to the given architecture. © 2024 The Author(s).

File labeling techniques have a long history in analyzing the anthological trends in computational *** situation becomes worse in the case of files downloaded into systems from the ***,most users either have to change file names manually or leave a meaningless name of the files,which increases the time to search required files and results in redundancy and duplications of user ***,no significant work is done on automated file labeling during the organization of heterogeneous user files.A few attempts have been made in topic ***,one major drawback of current topic modeling approaches is better *** rely on specific language types and domain similarity of the *** this research,machine learning approaches have been employed to analyze and extract the information from heterogeneous corpus.A different file labeling technique has also been used to get the meaningful and`cohesive topic of the *** results show that the proposed methodology can generate relevant and context-sensitive names for heterogeneous data files and provide additional insight into automated file labeling in operating systems.

Crop failure caused by disease-causing pests is an important problem. Farmers struggle with disease management and detection due to inadequate interventions. The goal is to create an automatic system to efficiently identify plant diseases from photos while reducing crop losses and increasing productivity. Machine learning algorithms offer a faster and cheaper alternative to visual inspection by experts. The main goal is to perform image analysis for early diagnosis and effective disease control. The use of CNN architecture for plant disease classification and detection offers a promising solution for plant health monitoring and risk mitigation. Given the threats to crop productivity and global food security, reliable methods for early detection and accurate classification are essential. CNNs enable efficient analysis of vast plant image databases, enabling accurate plant disease identification with speed and accuracy. The multi-layer CNN approach extracts feature and refines the representation, facilitating accurate prediction and accurate diagnosis. Transfer learning methods accelerate system development and allow adaptation to plant disease-specific databases. Combining computer vision algorithms with CNN architecture enables real-time monitoring, early disease detection and targeted intervention, reducing yield losses and improving crop management. This approach uses AI, image analysis, and plant pathology to solve the challenges of sustainable agriculture and plant diseases. System performance is measured by various performance metrics. © 2023 IEEE.

Sine Cosine Algorithm (SCA) is a new population based meta-heuristic algorithm that exploits both the sine and cosine functions for its update operators. The main strength of SCA is its simplicity and straightforward implementation as well as provides no parameter control adjustment. For these reasons, SCA can be adopted in many optimization problems quickly and without much tuning. Despite the aforementioned advantages, SCA convergence can still be problematic depending on the initial starting positions of initial populations. In this work, we propose to assess the effectiveness of pseudo random (i.e., Random) as well as three chaotic map initializations (i.e., sine map, circle map, and logistic map) for SCA using the pairwise test case generation as our case study. The original SCA with random initialization (R_SCA) is outperformed on the adopted experiments by the proposed logistic map SCA (LM_SCA), circle map SCA (CM_SCA) and singer map SCA (SM_SCA). © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Social media networks play a major role in expressing people's feelings, reviews, and thoughts. One of the popular linguistic patterns to express or criticize one's ideas with ridicule is sarcasm, where they have unintended and intended meanings in written text. The sarcastic text is used to reverse the polarity of the sentiment. As a result, sarcasm detection in the text positively affects the sentimental analysis (SA) tasks and improves accuracy. The sarcasm recognition of Arabic content is constrained even though Arabic is the most popular language for web content sharing, and yet still naive owing to various challenges, such as the insufficient data sources, the multiple dialects, and the morphological structure of the Arabic language. This study presents an Artificial Intelligence Driven Sarcasm Detection using Optimal Deep Learning (AIDSD-ODL) technique on Arabic tweets. In the AIDSD-ODL technique, a hyperparameter-tuned DL model is utilized to identify sarcastic or non-sarcastic Arabic tweets. At the initial stage, the AIDSD-ODL method undergoes data pre-processing to convert the input tweets into a compatible format. In the next phase, the Glove word embedding process is used in the AIDSD-ODL technique. The self-attention bidirectional long short-term memory (SA-BiLSTM) model is utilized for sarcasm detection. The Al-Biruni Earth Radius (BER) model is implemented for the hyperparameter selection process to enhance the performance of the SA-BiLSTM network. The experimental results of the AIDSD-ODL method are examined under the Arabic tweets dataset. The comparison study of the AIDSD-ODL method portrayed a superior accuracy value of 94.20 % over existing models. © 2025 The Authors
