Patent recommendation service has become a major demand of all walks of life in the society. Patent data collection and analysis can not only help enterprises grasp the development status of the industry, but also provide decision support for them in the research and development process of science and technology services. In view of the problem of inaccurate patent recommendation caused by the inconsistency between the search text and the patent text length and the low accuracy of traditional patent recommendation, a word and sentence dual processing model based on Transformer encoder and regularization strategy is proposed to complete the patent recommendation task from the level of sentence granularity and word granularity. The sentence granularity feature extraction module uses the transformer encoder superimposed multi-head attention method to obtain the feature information between the sentence vector groups, so that the sentence vector fuses the feature information of each sentence, and solves the problem of low recommendation accuracy caused by the inconsistent length of the patent text and the search text;The word granularity feature extraction module uses the twin network model to extract the feature information of the sentence granularity vector using the Transformer encoder using the double splicing operation, improve the model performance and model accuracy;Introduce a strategy based on Dropout and symmetric JS divergence regularization, improve the model generalization ability and accuracy. Experiments have proved that it outperforms SBERT, BERT, MGMSN and SVM models in terms of performance. © 2024 IEEE.

Patent recommendation has always been an essential service for the innovation and development of all walks of life. The matching of demand and patent information can enable enterprises to quickly obtain the innovation and development trend of the industry. The current patent recommendation method has the problem of slow recommendation speed and insufficient comprehensive recommendation results. According to the existing problems, a patent fast recommendation algorithm based on user needs combined with inverted table is proposed. The algorithm using dual track recommended way for accurate recommendation and extensive recommendation, in the process of recommendation built by patent data inversion table and document list auxiliary recommendation to improve recommendation speed and accuracy, when accurate recommendation when using improved requirements based on GPT-2 compression model recommended after demand text compression, when widely recommended using TF-IDF mechanism for demand text of each paragraph after keyword extraction, finally generate widely recommendation list and accurate recommendation list. This recommendation method can not only realize the fast and accurate recommendation of patents, but also provide users with more innovative ideas for extensive recommendation. The experiments show that the proposed recommendation algorithm has higher speed and accuracy than the original recommendation algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.

Sentiment plays an essential role in people's perception of images. To incorporate the sentiment information into the image style transfer task for better sentiment-aware performance, we introduce a new task named sentiment-aware image style transfer. To solve this problem, we first introduce a novel Multi-Sentiment Semantics Space (MSS-Space) to capture the non-deterministic and complicated nature of sentiment semantics. With the MSS-Space, we establish tight associations between the visual attributes of images and the multi-sentiment semantics by minimizing their distance in MSS-Space and then propose the Multi-Sentiment Style Transfer Net (MSNet). Experiments demonstrate that, compared with three competing models, our proposed MSNet generates more explicit images and better preserves the integrity of salient objects, local details, and multi-sentiment. In particular, our model outperforms the state-of-the-art by +28.72% in terms of the top-3 accuracy on average. © 2023 IEEE.

Uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) have gained significant attention due to their low cost and efficient deployment. Specifically, UAV-based communications hold promise to supplement the coverage limitations of terrestrial networks and achieve superior connectivity for the Internet of Things (IoT). Moreover, UAVs with visible light communication (VLC) capability do not interfere with existing radio frequency (RF) communication infrastructure, thereby providing flexible, high-throughput on-demand wireless communications. In this article, considering the limited battery capacity of UAVs, we aim to maximize the energy efficiency (EE) of a multi-UAV downlink VLC system for IoT. To this end, the system model with co-channel interference is first established, followed by the formulation of the joint spatial deployment and resource allocation problem. Besides, the original problem is decomposed into three subproblems, focusing on spatial deployment, subchannel assignment, and power allocation. By employing the block coordinate descent (BCD) method, the three subproblems are solved alternately. Moreover, simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves superior improvements in EE compared to other baselines. In addition, the convergence and computational complexity of the proposed algorithm, as well as the impacts of key parameters on the overall system performance are also investigated. © 2014 IEEE.

Addressing the challenges posed by the insufficient computational power of low-spec devices to achieve the inference efficiency of prevailing deep learning models, alongside the variability in type and shape within industrial metal sheet datasets, while also catering to the demand for high-precision detection, this paper proposes a novel single-stage detection architecture termed MTRNet. In this paper, we introduce three key enhancements: Firstly, to reduce the number of parameters, we propose a novel Partial Depth Convolution (PDC) structure. By minimizing redundant computations, we aim to enhance the efficiency of spatial feature extraction. Secondly, we propose a Convolution Transformer (CTR) structure that replaces the self-attention module with a convolutional module. This modification addresses the computational inefficiency inherent in the self-attention mechanism of existing Visual Transformers (ViT). Finally, we introduce a novel Attention Convolution Transformer (ACTR) structure to enhance the extraction of global and local feature information. This architecture seamlessly integrates the strengths of both attention and convolution mechanisms, working synergistically to improve performance. Our proposed MTRNet network demonstrates superior detection performance compared to existing industrial standards, achieving a detection accuracy of 81.5% on the NEU-DET dataset. © 2024 Knowledge Systems Institute Graduate School. Deep learning is particularly important in the field of time series data analysis, and has been applied to tasks such as marine data prediction. However, there is a’concept drift’ problem in marine observation data, which leads to performance degradation and catastrophic forgetting of traditional deep learning models used in online scenarios. For this reason, this paper proposes OL-TCN, an adaptive temporal convolutional neural network online prediction deep learning model, which is more suitable for marine online learning and inference scenarios. We make the following innovations: Inside the model, model performance is enhanced by incorporating a multi-head attention mechanism and introducing an automatic machine learning enhancement in the residual cell. Outside the model, a model repository approach is used to effectively cope with the complexity and evolutionary challenges of data streams. Federated Learning (FL) is a privacy-preserving solution that addresses the issue of data security. It achieves model aggregation by uploading only the locally trained parameters of each party to a central server, thus preserving the original privacy of each entity. However, recent studies indicate that the global parameters aggregated by the server and the local parameters submitted by users may inadvertently reveal private data. In this paper, we propose a secure FL aggregation protocol based on parameter confusion and restoration. Our protocol ensures the protection of local parameters uploaded by a single client by uploading only blurred parameters to the server. The global model aggregated by the server remains unaffected by the interference data, ensuring the high accuracy of the final model. Furthermore, the aggregation server remains unaware of any parameter information during training. We demonstrate the security of our protocol against a semihonest adversary environment and prove that even if n-2 participants collude with the server, it is impossible to learn the private information of the honest participants. Our tests on the MNIST and cifar10 datasets show that our system achieves accuracy comparable to the plaintext baseline. © (2023) All Rights Reserved.

Falls frequently present substantial safety hazards to those who are alone, particularly the elderly. Deploying a rapid and proficient method for detecting falls is a highly effective approach to tackle this concealed peril. The majority of existing fall detection methods rely on either visual data or wearable devices, both of which have drawbacks. This research presents a multimodal approach that integrates video and audio modalities to address the issue of fall detection systems and enhances the accuracy of fall detection in challenging environmental conditions. This multimodal approach, which leverages the benefits of attention mechanism in both video and audio streams, utilizes features from both modalities through feature-level fusion to detect falls in unfavorable conditions where visual systems alone are unable to do so. We assessed the performance of our multimodal fall detection model using Le2i and UP-Fall datasets. Additionally, we compared our findings with other fall detection methods.
