Technology and information will always develop dynamically; this statement demands programmers to always be creative and keep up with the times. Despite this, their work ethic is always the same and tends to stagnate. programmers’ perspectives on their workplace: this perspective is rarely seen as important and the opportunity for a comprehensive study is still widely open. This study aims to conduct a systematic literacy study to ascertain that the workplace has a crucial relationship with a programmer’s performance. The focus of the study includes a discussion of how programmers relate to their workplace in a tech company, benchmarking between various office layouts, and criteria that can be derived from the literature review regarding a degree of whether such a workplace is good or bad. The proper base facts are obtained. Nevertheless, the two entities are proven to be interrelated to each other. Such correlations are derived into tangible metrics and parameters (e.g., human cognitive, cultural, physical, behavioral, etc.). Relating issues regarding these topics are also presented.

Transparent conductive oxides exhibit attractive optical nonlinearity with ultrafast response and giant refractive index change near the epsilon-near-zero(ENZ) wavelength, originating from the intraband dynamics of conduction electrons. The optical nonlinearity of ENZ materials has been explained by using the overall-effective-mass and the overall-scattering-time of electrons in the extended Drude model. However, their response to optical excitation is yet the last building block to complete the theory. In this paper, the concept of thermal energy is theoretically proposed to account for the total energy of conduction electrons exceeding their thermal equilibrium value. The time-varying thermal energy is adopted to describe the transient optical response of indium-tin-oxide(ITO), a typical ENZ material. A spectrally-resolved femtosecond pump-probe experiment was conducted to verify our theory. By correlating the thermal energy with the pumping density, both the giant change and the transient response of the permittivity of ITO can be predicted. The results in this work provide a new methodology to describe the transient permittivities of ENZ materials, which will benefit the design of ENZ-based nonlinear photonic devices.

Emotionally-aware chatbots are chatbots that are equipped with emotional intelligence. Based on the literature, using emotional elements in chatbots can improve user engagement and believability factors. This study attempts to make a novel contribution by empirically evaluating the impact of emotion recognition models on the believability factor of chatbots. This study examines the impact of the emotions model and avatar on chatbot interactions through three implementations. Thirty-one participants volunteered to evaluate emotionally aware chatbots. The participants evaluated the interaction with the chatbot using the Godspeed Questionnaire Series (GQS). The questionnaire results are utilized to measure the effect of the emotions model on the chatbot's believability factor. The evaluation results of the experiment show that implementing the emotion recognition model on the chatbot increases its believability factors. On average, the believability measures in interaction type B (with an emotion model) are enhanced 1.71 times compared to interaction type A (a basic model). Furthermore, the believability measures in interaction type C (with an emotion model and an avatar) are enhanced 2 times more than in interaction type A (a basic model). The believability factor is also heightened by integrating a chatbot avatar into the interaction system. Using avatars in chatbots increases the believability variables of the system by 1.17 times if compared with not using avatars.

Universal rendering is a way to render a website by combining server and client-side rendering. Universal rendering promises to boost the performance and SEO score of the website. However, it can be computationally exhausting for the server. This prompts researchers to address this problem in multiple different environments. Two parameters that could be used to measure the aforementioned metrics are Time to First Byte (Or Latency) and Time to Interactive. This paper addressed the aforementioned problem of universal rendering in a NuxtJS-based web application. JMeter and Lighthouse was used to test each proposed solution’s performance and SEO score. Initially, there are three proposed solutions: lazy loading, SSR caching, and asset compression. This research proves that the aforementioned solutions effectively improve universal rendering performance in NuxtJS version 3.0.0. Each method has its pros and cons. For example, lazy loading and SSR caching are effective for improving the latency score, while asset compression is effective for enhancing the TTI score.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and chatbot technology have emerged as promising solutions to improve healthcare services. AI chatbots can mimic human-like interactions and assist with tasks such as triaging patients and providing medical advice. This review focuses on the use of AI chatbots in predicting diseases, aiming to explore their effectiveness and potential for early intervention and treatment. The purpose of this systematic literature review is to analyze studies related to AI chatbot technology in disease prediction. A systematic literature review was conducted, analyzing a total of 24 selected journals based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The review protocol involved examining studies published from various years, with a particular emphasis on articles from 2020. The findings indicate that AI chatbots have the potential to play a significant role in predicting diseases and assisting healthcare professionals in making informed decisions. AI chatbot technology shows tremendous potential in disease prediction. By utilizing machine learning algorithms and techniques, chatbots can enhance the accuracy and quickness of disease diagnosis. Continued research and development efforts are necessary to refine AI chatbots' capabilities and revolutionize healthcare delivery for improved patient outcomes and disease management.

IT/OT convergence in the form of a Cyber-Physical System (CPS) presents an opportunity to apply recent Information Technology (IT) advancements to Operational Technology (OT). The IT/OT convergence introduces cyber security threats for OT. The OT communication protocols, for example, have limited or no security capabilities for securing data exchange beyond basic authentication. The RNG (Random Number Generator) function is crucial in PLC for producing the encryption keys or the initial seed for security algorithms. The software-based PRNG (Pseudo RNG) is the most common approach for RNG in OT, instead of hardware-based RNG. This study provides a systematic literature review of the most recent evidence in digital transformation to secure data exchange in smart factories, within OT, or across OT and IT settings. It does this by looking at the PRNG on PLC and identifying the most recent trends and best practices. The findings include up-to-date data on author countries' distribution, published journals, research trends, industries, and industry types. The findings also address whether data flow is encrypted or shared in plaintext to ensure secure data transfer between IT and legacy OT environments. This paper concludes that while there is known RNG implementation in the actual embedded system in ICS, there is no evidence in the literature for using RNG in ICS networks for PLC implementation to secure data transfer with encryption.
