Artificial Intelligence (AI) significantly enhances adaptive learning by personalizing and tailoring instruction to individual student needs. AI analyzes data in real-time to create personalized learning paths based on students' strengths, weaknesses, and preferences, which keeps students engaged and motivated. A major benefit of AI in adaptive learning is the provision of real-time feedback and assessment, allowing students to correct mistakes promptly and understand concepts more thoroughly. AI-based intelligent tutoring systems are primarily intended to simulate personalized tutoring processes that guide students in complex problem-solving and answering questions. It is convenient in teaching mathematics, sciences, and languages. AI also supports inclusive education, dealing with diversified learning requirements and styles, such as those of learners with disabilities. For the teacher, AI acts as a reflector of student performance so that one can intervene early and make adjustments in the method of instruction by creating effective learning environments. AI technology is a field in constant development and harbors the potential to change the face of adaptive learning, bringing an upswing in educational outcomes. This article will summarize the advantages and features that merit improvement of the AI-embedded adaptive learning systems with student feedback. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper we study an ODE model on the microRNA-mRNA dynamics. We prove the existence of two equilibrium points (one with strictly positive compo-nents) and obtain a biologically consistent, sufficient asymptotic stability condition for the strictly positive equilibrium. © 2022, Politechnica University of Bucharest. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of technology-based interventions on academic performance. To achieve this purpose a systematic review was conducted. Within the scope of this study EBSCO, Springer, ProQuest, science Direct, Wiley Online Library, Taylor and Francis Online, databases were scanned, and 18 studies were included in the review. Our results show that the iPad is the most preferred digital device for enhancing math and reading skills and significant results can be seen when used. Similar positive effects were observed with other technological devices, reinforcing the effectiveness of technology as a tool for supporting academic performance. This evidence underscores the value of incorporating digital devices in educational strategies, particularly for improving key academic skills. © 2024 IEEE.

A continuous dynamic model for the development of a gas field is studied. Two mathematical problems are posed, solved and analyzed. In the direct problem, we are looking for the maximum accumulated profit on a set of temporary functions of a certain type. In the inverse optimization problem, we define the entire set of planning horizons. We subject the assigned tasks to a comprehensive analysis. © 2022 IEEE.

The study of rigid protein-protein docking plays an essential role in a variety of tasks such as drug design and protein engineering. Recently, several learning-based methods have been proposed, exhibiting much faster docking speed than those computational methods. In this paper, we propose a novel learning-based method called ElliDock, which predicts an elliptic paraboloid to represent the protein-protein docking interface. To be specific, our model estimates elliptic paraboloid interfaces for the two input proteins respectively, and obtains the roto-translation transformation for docking by making two interfaces coincide. By its design, ElliDock is independently equivariant with respect to arbitrary rotations/translations of the proteins, which is an indispensable property to ensure the generalization of the docking process. Experimental evaluations show that ElliDock achieves the fastest inference time among all compared methods and is strongly competitive with current state-of-the-art learning-based models such as DiffDock-PP and Multimer particularly for antibody-antigen docking. © 2024 12th International Conference on Learning Representations, ICLR 2024. In recent developments within the research community, the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) in creating fully autonomous agents has garnered significant interest. Despite this, LLM-based agents frequently demonstrate notable shortcomings in adjusting to dynamic environments and fully grasping human needs. In this work, we introduce the problem of LLM-based human-agent collaboration for complex task-solving, exploring their synergistic potential. To tackle the problem, we propose a Reinforcement Learning-based HumanAgent Collaboration method, ReHAC, which trains a policy model designed to determine the most opportune stages for human intervention within the task-solving process. We conduct experiments under real and simulated human-agent collaboration scenarios. Experimental results demonstrate that the synergistic efforts of humans and LLM-based agents significantly improve performance in complex tasks, primarily through well-planned, limited human intervention.
