Quantum computing is progressing at a fast rate and there is a real threat that classical cryptographic methods can be compromised and therefore impact the security of blockchain networks. All of the ways used to secure blockchain like Rivest–Shamir–Adleman (RSA), Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and Secure Hash Algorithm 256-bit (SHA256) are the characteristic of the traditional cryptographic techniques vulnerable to attack by quantum algorithms: Shor’s and Grover’s algorithms: can efficiently break asymmetric encryption and speed up brute force attacks. Because of this vulnerability, there exists a need to develop an advance quantum resilient blockchain framework to protect the decentralized ledgers from the future threats of the quantum. This research proposes Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Quantum Random Number Generation (QRNG) as a formidable architectural integration, to fortify security of blockchain. Classical encryption is replaced with PQC, QKD with secure key exchange by detecting eavesdropping, and QRNG with improving cryptographic randomness to remove the predictable key vulnerability. Only with a small loss of transaction efficiency, we increase transaction encryption accuracy, key exchange security, and resistance to quantum attacks. In this quantum enhanced blockchain design, the idea is to preserve the decentralization, transparency and security and at the same time overcome the future quantum threat. By going through rigorous analysis and comparative evaluation, we demonstrate that the approach saves blockchain networks from the emerging quantum risks to make sure that the decentralized finance, smart contracts and cross chain transactions. © (2025), (science and Information Organization). In text mining and Natural Language Processing (NLP), extracting emotions from textual data is gaining rapid attraction. The proliferation of online content and the freedom of expression on social media platforms has compelled the advancement of more sophisticated methods for the automatic identification of unwanted content. The One-Dimensional Convolutional Neural Network (1D-CNN) performs best for feature extraction, while the Long Short-Term Memory Network (LSTM) is well-known for extracting sequential features and classification of textual data. This study proposes a novel solution by combining 1D-CNN with LSTM. Utilizing a context-aware model, this study aims to enhance the detection of immoral posts, including hate speech and other forms of immoral content on social media platforms. Various posts are extracted from social media, which are then processed using Glove word embedding models. It depicts the word representations in the text, which yields the form of a real-valued vector determining the words' meaning. The 1D convolution utilizes a filter window over the input time-series data to extract features. Relying on the acquired parameters of the filters, they act as feature extractors. This feature extraction technique allows the model to distinguish detailed patterns and nuances from the textual contents of posts. The sequential processing capabilities of the LSTM network enable an in-depth examination of the text, capturing temporal relationships and context, which is critical for successful content categorization. To validate the proposed model, we utilized a benchmark dataset, called the Twitter dataset. The proposed model achieved the highest accuracy of 95.37% and outperforms state-of-the-art works. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

DeepLeaf: an optimized deep learning approach for automated recognition of grapevine leaf diseases

Plant diseases can cause severe losses in agricultural production, impacting food security and safety. Early detection of plant diseases is crucial to minimize crop damage and ensure agricultural sustainability. Manual monitoring is often impractical due to the complexity and time involved, making automated disease recognition essential. This study presents a new Plant Disease Detection Algorithm (PDDA) called DeepLeaf focused on identifying four common grapevine diseases: leaf blight, black rot, stable, and black measles. The PDDA integrates three key modules: an Image Preprocessing Module, a Feature Extraction Module, and an Optimized Convolutional Neural Network (OCNN)-based Classification Module. The OCNN forms the core of the classification system, with its hyperparameters fine-tuned using fuzzy optimization to enhance performance. Preprocessing techniques are applied to analyze diseased leaves, and a logistic regression algorithm is used to downsample the features for better analysis. The CNN is trained on images from the Plant Village dataset, allowing it to detect and classify grapevine leaf diseases accurately. The proposed model's efficiency in the automated diagnosis of grapevine diseases is demonstrated by its remarkable 99.7% accuracy rate. This high accuracy indicates that the PDDA may help with more effective and scalable plant disease monitoring, which will ultimately allow better agricultural practices. © The Author(s) 2025.

AI large model-centered intelligent applications holds promises to revolutionize network quality of service (QoS). therefore, the deployment and utilization of such models in the Industrial Internet of Things (Industrial IoT) are considered as an increasingly pressing priority. In particular, the integration of Generative AI (GenAI) into Industrial IoT, with a focus on establishing a robust NetGPT network architecture that leverages Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) and Device-to-Device (D2D) collaboration has been subjected to significant academic attention. Accordingly, this paper explores the optimization of dynamic network resource management in mobile D2D networks through the innovative application of NetGPT. First, a NetGPT-based system architecture for network resource management is proposed. Thereafter, mobile D2D network model is established with a detailed account of NetGPT training and NetGPT fusion. Finally, the workload scheduling strategy in industrial IoT based on Stackelberg game model is formulated though multi-agent GenAI and present the NetGPT-based orchestration of task co-offloading for mobile network nodes. Deep reinforcement learning is implemented at the edge side to compete and cooperate in addressing complex network problems, which enabling GenAI nodes in a co-offloading and load balancing manner. The implementation of NetGPT-enhanced D2D networks has been conducted in a Mininet simulation environment. Compared to traditional network solutions, our findings show significant improvements in several key performance indicators, including network response latency, task processing capacity, and transmission power. © 1986-2012 IEEE.

This paper addresses the problem of distributed estimation and motion control (DEMC) in multi-agent systems (MASs) with both linear and Lipschitz nonlinear dynamics. Unlike conventional DEMC methods designed for MASs under ideal conditions, this work investigates scenarios where all agents are vulnerable to various forms of attacks. The considered attacks comprise false-data injection (FDI) attacks and denial of service (DoS) attacks that affect the communication channels among agents to destabilize the MAS. Also, the unbounded actuator attacks which exist in practical environments to intentionally degrade the MAS performance is considered. To cope with these kinds of attacks, two novel resilient approaches are established aimed at estimating and following a mobile target under attacks. The proposed distributed attack-resilient control strategies are designed based on a dual-layer structure, guaranteeing effective DEMC with an ultimately bounded error. The results from two simulation examples are provided to validate the presented algorithms. © 2004-2012 IEEE.

Stochastic Trajectory Optimization for Robotic Skill Acquisition From a Suboptimal Demonstration

Learning from Demonstration (LfD) has emerged as a crucial method for robots to acquire new skills. However, when given suboptimal task trajectory demonstrations with shape characteristics reflecting human preferences but subpar dynamic attributes such as slow motion, robots not only need to mimic the behaviors but also optimize the dynamic performance. In this work, we leverage optimization-based methods to search for a superior-performing trajectory whose shape is similar to that of the demonstrated trajectory. Specifically, we use Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) to quantify the difference between two trajectories and combine it with additional performance metrics, such as collision cost, to construct the cost function. Moreover, we develop a multi-policy version of the Stochastic Trajectory Optimization for Motion Planning (STOMP), called MSTOMP, which is more stable and robust to parameter changes. To deal with the jitter in the demonstrated trajectory, we further utilize the gain-controlling method in the frequency domain to denoise the demonstration and propose a computationally more efficient metric, called Mean Square Error in the Spectrum (MSES), that measures the trajectories' differences in the frequency domain. We also theoretically highlight the connections between the time domain and the frequency domain methods. Finally, we verify our method in both simulation experiments and real-world experiments, showcasing its improved optimization performance and stability compared to existing methods. © 2016 IEEE.

Detecting the openable parts of articulated objects is crucial for downstream applications in intelligent robotics, such as pulling a drawer. This task poses a multitasking challenge due to the necessity of understanding object categories and motion. Most existing methods are either category-specific or trained on specific datasets, lacking generalization to unseen environments and objects. In this paper, we propose a Transformer-based Openable Part Detection (OPD) framework named Multi-feature Openable Part Detection (MOPD) that incorporates perceptual grouping and geometric priors, outperforming previous methods in performance. In the first stage of the framework, we introduce a perceptual grouping feature model that provides perceptual grouping feature priors for openable part detection, enhancing detection results through a cross-attention mechanism. In the second stage, a geometric understanding feature model offers geometric feature priors for predicting motion parameters. Compared to existing methods, our proposed approach shows better performance in both detection and motion parameter prediction. To achieve ubiquitous connectivity of the sixth generation communication, the space-air-ground integrated network (SAGIN) is a popular topic. However, the dynamic nodes in SAGIN such as satellites and unmanned aerial vehicles, may be fragile and out of operation, which can potentially cause service failure. Therefore, the research on service recovery in SAGIN under situations of resource failure is critical. In order to facilitate the flexible resource utilization of SAGIN, the network function virtualization technology (NFV) is proposed to be employed. Firstly, the task management is transformed into the deployment of service function chains (SFCs). Then, we design an NFV-based SFC recovery model in SAGIN in the face of resource failure, so that tasks can quickly select alternative resources to complete deployments. Moreover, the problem of SFC recovery is formulated to minimize the total time consumption for all completed SFCs. Since it is an NP-hard integer linear programming problem, we propose the efficient recovery algorithm based on the matching game. Finally, via various simulations, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm and its advantages are verified, where the total time consumption is optimized by about 25%, compared with other benchmark methods. © 2013 IEEE.

This work formulates the feedback control strategies for vehicles to reach a goal point amongst a field of dynamic risk regions. Whereas previous work has considered deterministic versions of this problem, we consider the scenario in the context of uncertainty. This uncertainty could be due to unknown wind or other external disturbances. The risk regions’ dynamics are tightly coupled to the state of the vehicle and as a result the task of navigating through a field dynamically changes as the vehicle traverses through it. Rather than using a nonlinear program solver, the approach taken here is one of formulating the problem as a stochastic optimal control problem wherein a feedback control law is derived. This feedback control law allows a single or multiple vehicles to reach the desired goal location efficiently and with minimal risk incursion. When inside a risk region, there is a probability rate of the vehicle being neutralized. The stochastic dynamical system is modeled as a hybrid system, i.e., regime switching diffusion. The hybrid system is comprised of continuous spatial dynamics and discrete operational states corresponding to "normal" and "neutralized". The optimal control problem is discretized into a field of vehicle states and control. Using Value Iteration, the control signal at each discrete location is optimized, providing a feedback control strategy over the field.
