The work is devoted to the actual problem of control system design for underwater vehicles with a high level of autonomy. The article proposes an asymptotic method for separating motions in conjunction with a probabilistic analysis of a possible deviation from a given trajectory as a result of the impact of random disturbances. Approbation of the method was carried out by simulating an underwater vehicle with two rudders (bow and stern) in the problem of longitudinal motion control at a constant speed at a given depth. As a result, it was shown that if accelerations are formed by fast subsystems, then in slow subsystems it is possible not only to achieve acceptable quality and accuracy over a fixed interval, but also to ensure this regardless of the effect of disturbances. Moreover, in this paper, we present the main relations for controlling deviations from a given trajectory during the motion of a slow subsystem. © 2023 IEEE.

In this manuscript, a novel algorithm is presented for the identification of single input single output linear time invariant (SISO-LTI) systems. The proposed method is able to find poles of the transfer function describing the system without any assumptions on the system order. The results presented in this paper generalize earlier identification schemes based on expansions of the transfer function using generalized rational orthogonal basis functions (GOBFs). These previous methods depended on a convergent sequence constructed from the coefficients of the orthogonal GOBF expansion. The first contribution of this study is showing that a wider family of functions may be used to construct similar pole finding algorithms. The aforementioned previous approaches can be interpreted as special cases of the results presented here. In addition, using this generalization a new pole identification scheme is proposed using finite Blaschke-products. Through experiments, the practical utility of this scheme is verified when compared to earlier variations of the pole finding scheme. © 2024 IEEE.

Wind power is one of the sustainable ways to generate renewable *** recent years,some countries have set renewables to meet future energy needs,with the primary goal of reducing emissions and promoting sustainable growth,primarily the use of wind and solar *** achieve the prediction of wind power generation,several deep and machine learning models are constructed in this article as base *** regression models are Deep neural network(DNN),k-nearest neighbor(KNN)regressor,long short-term memory(LSTM),averaging model,random forest(RF)regressor,bagging regressor,and gradient boosting(GB)*** addition,data cleaning and data preprocessing were performed to the *** dataset used in this study includes 4 features and 50530 *** accurately predict the wind power values,we propose in this paper a new optimization technique based on stochastic fractal search and particle swarm optimization(SFSPSO)to optimize the parameters of LSTM *** evaluation criteria were utilized to estimate the efficiency of the regression models,namely,mean absolute error(MAE),Nash Sutcliffe Efficiency(NSE),mean square error(MSE),coefficient of determination(R2),root mean squared error(RMSE).The experimental results illustrated that the proposed optimization of LSTM using SFS-PSO model achieved the best results with R2 equals 99.99%in predicting the wind power values.

In the modern digital world, the use of animated applications has increased significantly and such applications have quietly become an integral part of life. Capturing human motions is a fundamental aspect of these applications which is performed by motion-capturing (MoCap) systems. Due to the heterogeneity of MoCap systems and marker configurations, the captured skeletons may vary in their structure, number of joints, and bone lengths. The need for motion retargeting arises to transfer motion captured from one articulated actor to another. Although motion retargeting is a long-standing issue, current methods cannot automatically execute retargeting between skeletons. This paper presents the retraining of a popular motion retargeting network with a new large-scale motion dataset. The retraining aims to demonstrate the capabilities of the motion retargeting network to handle the problem of motion retargeting between skeletons that may have different structures. The paper first, presents the motion retargeting network that employs an encoder-decoder architecture. Afterward, we re-train the motion retargeting network with a new MoCap dataset. To validate the effectiveness of the network, we visually compare the generated results with the existing retargeting model. The results show that the motion retargeting network effectively retargets the different motions. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V. Global stability and robustness guarantees in learned dynamical systems are essential to ensure well-behavedness of the systems in the face of uncertainty. We present Extended Linearized Contracting Dynamics (ELCD), the first neural network-based dynamical system with global contractivity guarantees in arbitrary metrics. The key feature of ELCD is a parametrization of the extended linearization of the nonlinear vector field. In its most basic form, ELCD is guaranteed to be (i) globally exponentially stable, (ii) equilibrium contracting, and (iii) globally contracting with respect to some metric. To allow for contraction with respect to more general metrics in the data space, we train diffeomorphisms between the data space and a latent space and enforce contractivity in the latent space, which ensures global contractivity in the data space. We demonstrate the performance of ELCD on the high dimensional LASA, multi-link pendulum, and Rosenbrock datasets. © 2024 Neural information processing systems foundation. All rights reserved.

Conceptual modeling is gaining an essential role in designing large-scale systems, especially as the complexity of the latter increases. The design tool for such systems is the development of ontologies for their subject areas. A problem arises: in our activity, we consider more complex subject areas, and the complexity of ontologies is growing. Is there a limit to this complexity? The design of large-scale systems is already suffocating with complexity - it is difficult to describe the components of the domain, their synthesis is complicated, and even more difficult is the software implementation of the model within the framework of an imperative, object-oriented approach. Debugging the created software system is extremely difficult. The structural theory offers a unified way to describe the subject areas of a broad class of large-scale systems, realizing in this description the principle of 'One in everything and all in One.' Based on this, an end-to-end technology of reporting, synthesis, and software implementation of models of complex, large-scale systems, which is close to CAD methods, is being built. In implementing a software system, it is possible to remain within the framework of declarative programming, avoiding imperative programming, which significantly simplifies its debugging. © 2023 IEEE.

An important aspect related to the effects of agricultural activities on the environment is represented by the nutrient loss in water and air (specifically nitrogen). The interactions between catchments hydrological processes, management of farm activities, climate changes and nitrogen losses constitute a complex phenomenon yet not well understood, being an important concern from the sustainable agriculture perspective. Nitrogen can be lost with water as leaching or runoff, or as gas as ammonia volatilization. Nitrous oxide (N2O) is particularly problematic because it is also a powerful greenhouse gas. The goal of the current article is to present innovative digital techniques to advance in understanding of this phenomena through an Information System that integrates Artificial Intelligence techniques such as Semantic Technologies and Machine Learning (ML) into Cyber-Physical systems (CPS) to support smart farming and sustainable agriculture. © 2023 IEEE.

Collaboration of agents in a natural swarm enables the accomplishment of tasks that would be difficult or impossible for a single agent to complete alone. For example, a swarm of autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) enables the collaborative sensing of bulky loads for transportation over impassable terrains when the load weighs several times more than each UAV. In this work, we propose a hierarchical algorithmic architecture that supports the search and coverage of various unknown payload profiles for subsequent transportation. The grasping formation of UAVs over the payload emerges from the synthetic behaviours in the architecture without any path planning. Experiments show that our proposed design can be successfully applied in searching and coverage of various loads and has been validated in the real world through the use of Crazyflie micro-UAVs. Furthermore, the proposed grasping formation satisfies static equilibrium thereby reducing orientation changes in the load-swarm system during transportation. © 2023 IEEE.
