Cancer is a lethal disease among the diseases in the world. It is clinically known as ‘Malignant Neoplasm’ which is a vast group of diseases that encompasses unmonitored cell expansion. It can begin anywhere in the body such as the breast, skin, liver, lungs, brain, and so on. As reported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the projected growth of new cancer cases is forecast at 29.5 million and cancer-related deaths at 16.4 million through 2040. There are many medical procedures to identify the cancer cell, such as mammography, MRI, CT scan, which are common methods for cancer diagnosis. The methods used above have been found to be ineffective and necessitate the development of new and smarter cancer diagnostic technologies. Persuaded by the phenomena of medical image classification using deep learning, our recommended initiative targets to analyze the performance of different deep transfer learning models for cancer cell diagnosis. In this paper, we have used VGG16, Inception V3 and MobileNet V2 deep architectures to diagnosis the breast cancer (KAU-BCMD dataset), lung cancer (IQ-OTH/NCCD dataset) and skin cancerHam10000). Experimental results demonstrate that VGG16 architecture shows comparatively higher accuracy by exhibiting 98.5% of accuracy for breast cancer, 99.90% for lung cancer and 93% for skin cancer dataset. © 2023, ICST Institute for computer sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

High-quality public datasets significantly prompt the prosperity of deep neural networks (DNNs). Currently, dataset ownership verification (DOV), which consists of dataset watermarking and ownership verification, is the only feasible solution to protect their copyright by preventing unauthorized use. In this paper, we revisit existing DOV methods and find that they all mainly focused on the first stage by designing different types of dataset watermarks and directly exploiting watermarked samples as the verification samples for ownership verification. As such, their success relies on an underlying assumption that verification is a onetime and privacy-preserving process, which does not necessarily hold in practice. To alleviate this problem, we propose ZeroMark to conduct ownership verification without disclosing dataset-specified watermarks. Our method is inspired by our empirical and theoretical findings of the intrinsic property of DNNs trained on the watermarked dataset. Specifically, ZeroMark first generates the closest boundary version of given benign samples and calculates their boundary gradients under the label-only black-box setting. After that, it examines whether the given suspicious method has been trained on the protected dataset by performing a hypothesis test, based on the cosine similarity measured on the boundary gradients and the watermark pattern. Extensive experiments on benchmark datasets verify the effectiveness of our ZeroMark and its resistance to potential adaptive attacks. Early detection is vital in crop health, yet improvement in productivity faces time-consuming and inefficient challenges due to traditional manual techniques of plant disease detection. Thus, we present a deep learning-based novel framework with a method called k-means clustering with DenseNet Classification denoted by Kmc-Densenet. The approach streamlines this plant disease detection process involving the overall pipeline of extensive preprocessing, segmentation, and classification. In the preprocessing stage, we employ contrast enhancement techniques to improve the visibility of disease symptoms, ensuring clearer and more consistent leaf images for further analysis. For the segmentation task, we leverage a k-means clustering which effectively isolates regions of interest, distinguishing between healthy and diseased areas of the plant leaf. In the classification stage, we use a DenseNet variant of CNN, known for its feature reuse capabilities, to classify the plant diseases with high accuracy. The DenseNet model helps overcome the challenges posed by class imbalance, enhancing the overall detection performance. Finally the parameters of the Densenet model is fine-tuned using the Lyrebird Optimization Algorithm. The proposed Kmc-Densenet method is evaluated on the publicly available Plant village dataset, demonstrating superior performance in both segmentation and classification tasks. This framework offers a more efficient and reliable solution for early plant disease detection in precision agriculture, with potential applications in improving crop yield and quality. © 2025 IEEE.

In the modern world of rapid technological progress and digital transformation, industries are swiftly shifting from paper-based to digital systems. Document digitization, especially for image-based documents lacking machine readability, is gaining global attention. Sectors like real estate, finance, law, healthcare, and education are actively adopting digital strategies. In healthcare, where handwritten prescriptions lead to inefficiencies such as errors in medicine name by pharmacist due to doctor's hand writing lead to catastrophic failure and delays in various processes. Therefore, digital solutions are being developed to enhance patient care. This study proposes an approach to extract and categorize medicines from handwritten prescriptions, improving accuracy and communication with pharmacists. We proposed an approach that uses stroke enhancement apart from pre-processing with comprehensive multi-modal architecture, including a transformer based deep neural network and a sequence-to-sequence model such as DONUT and layoutLMv2 model. Our approach achieves a mean accuracy of about 0.85%. It surpasses models like LayoutLMv2 and DONUT by providing a balance in accuracy and consistency. Furthermore, the extracted features are passed to the various state of art machine learning classification algorithms upon which Gradient Boosting, Random forest and Ridge classifier produced the promising results for medicine type classification. © 2023 IEEE.

Pancreatic cancer poses a significant challenge in early detection and treatment due to its malignant nature within the digestive tract. Recent studies, such as those conducted by the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, predict that pancreatic cancer will rank as the world's second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in 2020. Various methods have been explored in the literature to segment pancreatic tumors and detect lesions from CT images, crucial for assessing severity. One such method is the Min-Max segmentation algorithm, which effectively removes the jaundiced sclera region from affected eyes by analysing color gradients, offering more feasible and discriminative solutions. Additionally, the utilization of Whale Optimized feature-based selection aids in extracting optimal features for optimization purposes. Through an analysis of different classification algorithms and the implementation of a suggested technique for achieving optimum solutions and maximum accuracy, the proposed work is structured into two phases. Phase I involves pre-processing and artifact removal, followed by segmentation, while Phase II focuses on feature extraction, feature selection, and classification. The initial step of pre-processing the image facilitates pixel location using intensity measures, crucial for accurate tumor segmentation and minimizing false detection. Ultimately, the proposed approach aims to design and develop an optimal feature selection strategy for classifying pancreatic cancer tumors in PET/CT images, resulting in increased classification efficiency 92% and improved cancer tumor detection rates with compare other existing approaches. © 2024 IEEE.

The usage of machine learning and deep learning algorithms have necessitated Artificial Intelligence'. AI is aimed at automating things by limiting human interference. It is widely used in IT, healthcare, finance, and agriculture. It is achieved through several deep learning algorithms that reflect the human brain's intelligence. These AI algorithms can be manipulated according to changing needs and improved efficiency. This paper tries to utilize the developments made in AI technology to classify the images and recognize the objects present in them. One widely used AI algorithm is CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks). The CNN is a deep learning-based algorithm that consists of various layers that extract and filters the parameters present in the images. Some additional layers of ResNet50 and the CNN algorithm are used to extract the parameters to improve image recognition accuracy. The image dataset taken for training and testing the proposed model is imageNet. The images are initially processed before sending them to the proposed model. The proposed model is trained, validated, and tested through the images obtained after the initial processing. The same process is repeated several times until getting the maximum accuracy. The accuracy of the proposed model in terms of image recognition is recorded. The obtained results are compared with other image classification algorithms like VGG16 and VGG19. Text-to-face generation is an exciting area of research focused on generating human faces based on textual descriptions, presenting unique challenges that have primarily been explored in academia. The advancement of generative adversarial networks (GANs) has played a crucial role in implementing text-to-face generation. This study aims to develop a framework that allows users to express their desired human face characteristics through textual descriptions, with the tool generating lifelike human face images in response. The approach utilizes a Deep Fusion generative adversarial network (DFGAN) architecture, incorporating deep convolutional neural networks (CNNs), trained on the CelebA dataset, which provides a diverse collection of labeled face images for training. The two model's performance are evaluated using the Fréchet Inception Distance (FID) score. DFGAN has achieved a FID score of 100 after evaluating 15k images, surpassing the results obtained by the DCGAN model. © 2023 IEEE.

High reliance on autonomous systems necessitates efficient and reliable data exchange through Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) communication to have appropriate and stable network performance in dynamic vehicular environments. With heuristic approaches, Dijkstra's algorithm, and Deep Q-Networks (DQN), several methods are proposed for optimizing latency reduction, packet delivery rate improvement, and power efficiency in the direction of V2I communications. However, these approaches suffer from important challenges: low adaptability of the network to real-time dynamics, suboptimal resource usage, and difficulties in scalability towards complex large-scale networks. In this scenario, we propose a framework that incorporates a GNN inside autonomous systems for V2I communication to optimize performance. The GNN will process real-time graph features, including signal strength, packet loss, and mobility speed, as it dynamically changes in adaptation to the evolution of network behaviour and other functions. This work shows the superiority of the proposed GNN model for the efficiency of experimentally conducted simulations compared to the current models;it achieved latency reduced by up to 28%, 5-10% PDR, and 20% energy efficiency across the various scenarios with urban, rural, highway, and suburban networks. The results validate robustness and scalability for practical implementations by the proposed approach in real-world autonomous systems. Further development is possible with this framework: for example, the use of multi-agent reinforcement learning techniques within cooperative decision-making and the enhancement through blockchain-based security mechanisms to ensure the integrity of the data. © 2024 IEEE.
