Sentiment analysis, a fundamental aspect of Natural Language Processing (NLP), involves the classification of emotions, opinions, and attitudes in text data. In the context of India, with its vast linguistic diversity and low-resource languages, the challenge is to support sentiment analysis in numerous Indian languages. This study explores the use of machine translation to bridge this gap. The investigation examines the feasibility of machine translation for creating sentiment analysis datasets in 22 Indian languages. Google Translate, with its extensive language support, is employed for this purpose in translating the Sentiment140 dataset. The study aims to provide insights into the practicality of using machine translation in the context of India’s linguistic diversity for sentiment analysis datasets. Our findings indicate that a dataset generated using Google Translate has the potential to serve as a foundational framework for tackling the low-resource challenges commonly encountered in sentiment analysis for Indian languages. © 2024 Association for Computational Linguistics.

Additionally, the app introduces a mental yoga section, providing guided practices aimed at enhancing mental resilience and mindfulness. In the landscape of next-generation cellular networks, a projected surge of over 12 billion subscriptions foreshadows a considerable upswing in the network's overall energy consumption. The proliferation of User Equipment (UE) drives this energy demand, urging 5G deployments to seek more energy-efficient methodologies. In this work, we propose SmartMME, as a pivotal solution aimed at optimizing Base Station (BS) energy usage. By harnessing and analyzing critical network states - such as UE connections, data traffic at individual UEs, and other pertinent metrics - our methodology intelligently orchestrates the BS's power states, making informed decisions on when to activate or deactivate the BS. This meticulous approach significantly curtails the network's overall energy consumption. In a bid to validate its efficiency, we seamlessly integrated our module into Network Simulator-3 (ns-3), conducting extensive testing to demonstrate its prowess in effectively managing and reducing net energy consumption. Chit fund is a peer-to-peer saving and borrowing scheme operated among trusted groups of people. It is a reliable source of funds in emergencies with no guarantor and low-interest rate. Despite their enduring benefits, chit funds face challenges related to trust, transparency, and security. At present, unscrupulous subscribers might join chit-funds, borrow money, and make payment defaults. This leads to disruptions in contribution cycle and affects overall functioning. Additionally, non-transparent record-keeping and transaction processes, hinder participants from verifying fund activities, creating a susceptible environment for fraud and malpractice. These challenges are an obstacle to the sustainability and trustworthiness of the chit-fund system. Therefore, to overcome aforementioned challenges, this paper proposes TruChit, a blockchain-based chit fund system with creditworthiness evaluation framework. It leverages the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) to assess the creditworthiness of subscribers, which ensures the credibility and reliability of individual participants. Further, proposes permissioned blockchain-assisted chit-fund framework with role-based access control to instill trust, security, and transparency within chit-fund operations. Moreover, the efficacy of TruChit is evaluated by analyzing credit score dataset and achieves 93.5% accuracy, which is better than other approaches. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.. All rights reserved.

The Constant challenge faced by the farmers is to maintain their crops and enhance productivity. Despite various methods and solution evolving, still farmers can't upgrade to it. Farmers are not aware of the modern agricultural methods. The major cause is that the software and solution developed are of higher complexity. To upgrade them, technology is the foremost important tool to stand up in this modern world. To help them with their problem and adapt to the modern world, the development of software with inbuilt AI and user-friendly features (in agriculture) is needed. This study proposes a novel Agri-tech app, which is a IoT based app used by the farmers for weather forecasting, soil moisture and nutrient content analysis. The developed application also recommends the crop type that can be cultivated in the soil by using the database of soil moisture and nutrient content. IoT sensors fixed in the field are used to detect the moisture level in the soil and notify the farmers to irrigate the land. It recommends the farmer to add manures and fertilizers to soil by calculating the amount of nitrogen, phosphorous, and oxygen contents present in the soil. Using these technical innovation farmers can monitor their fields over a system or smart phone. Moreover, the proposed approach can promote crop diversity and rotation for healthier soil, encourage sustainable practices like organic farming. © 2024 IEEE.

The threat posed by phishing websites is significant in the digital era due to the widespread use of online activities, which has prompted the need for a comprehensive remedy. The project involves building a website that acts as a database for information about phishing URLs, along with retrieving domain details for in-depth examination. Users will be able to contribute and retrieve phishing data, encouraging teamwork and alertness. In addition, a specialized Chrome extension will provide real-time detection of phishing websites with the support of machine learning techniques and pattern matching. Securing reusable hardware intellectual property (IP) cores has become increasingly critical due to their widespread application in multimedia systems and modern consumer electronics. These IP cores, particularly digital image filter cores, play a vital role in executing data and computation-intensive tasks like image sharpening, edge detection, and blurring. Therefore, ensuring the security of these digital image filter IP cores is essential for any image processing-based applications. This paper proposes a novel hardware watermarking approach utilizing high-level synthesis (HLS) based design methodology. The watermarking process integrates the IP vendor's ocular biometrics and encoded digital signature for enhanced security and robustness of the design against potential threats of IP piracy and false claim of IP ownership. The proposed approach begins with the extraction of unique biometric features from ocular image, which are fused with a secure digital signature to generate a robust watermark. Through the proposed approach, the watermark is seamlessly integrated into the design in form of encoded hardware watermarking constraints (as digital evidence) during the register allocation phase of HLS. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed watermarking technique in terms of the following: (a) achieves a low probability of false positive (watermark collision), signifying a low probability of coincidence (b) achieves higher robustness against tampering/brute force attacks signifying higher tamper tolerance ability and (c) ensures robust security of IP designs against piracy and false IP ownership at zero design cost overhead. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents the outcomes of two key projects dedicated to the enhancement of modern transportation infrastructure and communication technology. The first project introduces a web-based application for toll tax collection, with a particular focus on bolstering security and transparency through the implementation of blockchain technology. By leveraging blockchain, this system successfully mitigates fraud and enhances accountability. Simultaneously, our second project utilizes the Open Air Interface for simulating 5G network node *** toll tax collection project yields substantial results by establishing a secure, decentralized platform through blockchain integration. This, in turn, leads to a notable reduction in fraud and a significant improvement in accountability. The system utilizes an immutable ledger and smart contracts to streamline toll collection processes, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency. In tandem, the 5G network simulation project contributes to the advancement of network technology, delivering improvements in efficiency, transparency, and user experience within toll collection systems, while also catalyzing the evolution of state-of-the-art communication infrastructure. © 2024 IEEE.

We explore the intricate interplay between data localization, distributed infrastructure, cybersecurity, and privacy concerns. This paper provides an in-depth analysis of various challenges such as regulatory compliance, data integrity, authentication, and access control, along with potential threats like data breaches, insider attacks, and unauthorized access. Furthermore, we investigate the state-of-the-art security mechanisms, encryption techniques, privacy-preserving methods, and access control strategies that researchers and practitioners have developed to address these challenges. Through this survey, we aim to provide a comprehensive overview of the critical issues surrounding data localization within cloud computing and shed light on the emerging trends and potential solutions that can pave the way for secure and privacy-aware data localization practices. © 2024 IEEE.
