Cab booking services help people order taxis. Existing cab booking services use client server-based architecture. The paper gives a study of the architecture and workings of the Uber cab booking website (Dissanayake, March 18, 2021). It has a micro-service based architecture (Li et al. 2021). Load balancing (Al-Jaroodi et al. 2012) and stream processing (Besnard et al. 2013) are used to handle a large number of requests. The workload is divided among servers using Dispatch Optimization (Abid et al. 2022). It ensures fast responses, easy connection minimal downtime, and efficient use of resources. However, the use of servers increases the cost of service. Rider and driver depend on the server to connect. They don’t know if the system is charging them fairly. It reduces transparency and trust. The paper proposes a blockchain-based cab booking application to solve some of the problems. Trust, transparency, and decentralization can be ensured using blockchain. Transparent and immutable ledgers of blockchain ensure trust and reduce reliance on intermediaries. Smart contracts govern ride management, optimizing efficiency. Blockchain capabilities are used to ensure fair rides, direct interaction of passengers with drivers, and automated payments. The proposed system aims at combining existing technology with blockchain solution to ensure security and transparency along with scalability and quick response time. © 2025 the Author(s).

Recently, there has been interest in classifying emotions using audio inputs and machine learning methods. Because a single statement might be delivered in a variety of emotional circumstances, textual data alone is insufficient for identifying the emotions, necessitating the adoption of novel feature extraction approaches. This paper aims to provide an improved framework which uses a detailed study on audio sound features like mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCCs), zero crossing rate (ZCR), spectral bandwidth and many other features for audio analysis and uses the same for predicting emotions. The paper also emphasises on various audio augmentation techniques to improve the generalising power of the model. With the above-mentioned improvements in the feature vector and a carefully selected deep neural network, state-of-the-art classification accuracy is achieved on the two state-of-the-art datasets Toronto emotional speech set (TESS) and the Ryerson Audio-Visual Database of Emotional Speech and Song (RAVDESS). In the contemporary era,driverless vehicles are a reality due to the proliferation of distributed technologies,sensing technologies,and Machine to Machine(M2M)***,the emergence of deep learning techniques provides more scope in controlling and making such vehicles energy *** existing methods,it is understood that there have been many approaches found to automate safe driving in autonomous and electric vehicles and also their energy ***,the models focus on different aspects *** is need for a comprehensive framework that exploits multiple deep learning models in order to have better control using Artificial Intelligence(AI)on autonomous driving and energy *** this end,we propose an AI-based framework for autonomous electric vehicles with multi-model learning and decision *** focuses on both safe driving in highway scenarios and energy *** deep learning based framework is realized with many models used for localization,path planning at high level,path planning at low level,reinforcement learning,transfer learning,power control,and speed *** reinforcement learning,state-action-feedback play important role in decision *** simulation implementation reveals that the efficiency of the AI-based approach towards safe driving of autonomous electric vehicle gives better performance than that of the normal electric vehicles.

Taylor jellyfish search algorithm enabled feature selection and deep learning for big data classification using mapreduce framework

Nowadays, the increasing growth of technology contributes various organisations to storing a huge amount of records using web servers in the form of big data. The big database possesses a vast amount of relevant and irrelevant features, and the less significant features are difficult to remove which makes the process time-consuming and more complex. Hence, this paper proposes an optimisation algorithm, named the Taylor Jellyfish Search Optimisation (TaylorJSO) for selecting the relevant features. Here, an optimisation-based deep learning approach called Taylor Jellyfish Search Optimisation-Deep Maxout Network (TaylorJSO-DMN) is introduced to classify big data more effectively by selecting optimal features. In this model, the input database is preprocessed using quantile normalisation and uses the oversampling of imbalanced classes for data augmentation. In the MapReduce framework, the selection of optimal features is performed in the mapper phase, whereas in the reducer phase, the DMN is used for the classification of big data. The DMN is trained using the introduced TaylorJSO algorithm to improve the classification performance of big data classification. Moreover, the TaylorJSO-DMN model attained greater performance with a maximum of 92.5% accuracy, 91.6% sensitivity, and 92.9% specificity than other traditional approaches. ©, Engineers Australia.

Machine learning(ML)is increasingly applied for medical image processing with appropriate learning *** applications include analyzing images of various organs,such as the brain,lung,eye,etc.,to identify specific flaws/diseases for *** primary concern of ML applications is the precise selection of flexible image features for pattern detection and region *** of the extracted image features are irrelevant and lead to an increase in computation ***,this article uses an analytical learning paradigm to design a Congruent Feature Selection Method to select the most relevant image *** process trains the learning paradigm using similarity and correlation-based features over different textural intensities and pixel *** similarity between the pixels over the various distribution patterns with high indexes is recommended for disease ***,the correlation based on intensity and distribution is analyzed to improve the feature selection ***,the more congruent pixels are sorted in the descending order of the selection,which identifies better regions than the ***,the learning paradigm is trained using intensity and region-based similarity to maximize the chances of ***,the probability of feature selection,regardless of the textures and medical image patterns,is *** process enhances the performance of ML applications for different medical image *** proposed method improves the accuracy,precision,and training rate by 13.19%,10.69%,and 11.06%,respectively,compared to other models for the selected *** mean error and selection time is also reduced by 12.56%and 13.56%,respectively,compared to the same models and dataset.

This research proposes an integrated framework of a digital twin, incorporating artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things to optimize energy management and prolong the lifespan of the battery in electric vehicles. Under typical operating conditions, the system exhibits predictive accuracy with mean absolute error relative to actual data equal to 0.042 and root mean square error equal to 0.055. These values reflect improvement in responsiveness of the system since latency has been reduced to 0.12 seconds with feedback response times established at 0.45 seconds. Moreover, it has increased by 15% in energy efficiency while promoting its longevity with a capacity fade rate measured at 0.0025% per cycle. Besides, the model shows strong anomaly detection capability - maintenance alert precision is found to be 95% while detection rate reaches76%. All these results point out the possibility that combining Digital Twin technology with AI and IoT may end up significantly boosting energy management systems for electric vehicles compared to more traditional approaches. © 2025 IEEE.

Chord prediction plays a key role in the advancement of musical technological innovations, such as automatic music transcription, real-time music tutoring, and intelligent composition tools. Accurate chord prediction can assist musicians, educators, and developers in constructing tools that help in learning, playing, and composing music. Background noise and audio distortions may have an impact on chord prediction accuracy, particularly in real-world situations. Chords can have distinct voicings or finger positions on the guitar, resulting in slight variations in audio representation. This study focuses on the classification of guitar chords using techniques of deep learning. There are eight major and minor guitar chords in the dataset. They have been turned into spectrograms, chromagrams, and Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) so that features can be extracted. Various deep learning architectures, including CNN, ResNet50, AlexNet, and VGG, were employed to classify the chords. Experimental results demonstrated that the spectrogram-based AlexNet model outperforms others, achieving good accuracy and robustness in chord classification. The proposed study demonstrates the efficiency of spectrograms and advanced deep learning models for audio signal processing in music applications. By automating chord detection, this study provides beneficial resources for music learners as well as educators, enabling more efficient learning and real-time feedback during practice sessions. © (2025), (science and Information Organization). An Effective Hybrid Model of ELM and Enhanced GWO for Estimating Compressive Strength of Metakaolin-Contained Cemented Materials

This research proposes a highly effective soft computing paradigm for estimating the compressive strength(CS)of metakaolin-contained cemented *** proposed approach is a combination of an enhanced grey wolf optimizer(EGWO)and an extreme learning machine(ELM).EGWO is an augmented form of the classic grey wolf optimizer(GWO).Compared to standard GWO,EGWO has a better hunting mechanism and produces an optimal *** EGWO was used to optimize the ELM structure and a hybrid model,ELM-EGWO,was *** train and validate the proposed ELM-EGWO model,a sum of 361 experimental results featuring five influencing factors was *** on sensitivity analysis,three distinct cases of influencing parameters were considered to investigate the effect of influencing factors on predictive *** consequences show that the constructed ELM-EGWO achieved the most accurate precision in both training(RMSE=0.0959)and testing(RMSE=0.0912)*** outcomes of the ELM-EGWO are significantly superior to those of deep neural networks(DNN),k-nearest neighbors(KNN),long short-term memory(LSTM),and other hybrid ELMs constructed with GWO,particle swarm optimization(PSO),harris hawks optimization(HHO),salp swarm algorithm(SSA),marine predators algorithm(MPA),and colony predation algorithm(CPA).The overall results demonstrate that the newly suggested ELM-EGWO has the potential to estimate the CS of metakaolin-contained cemented materials with a high degree of precision and robustness.

Internet of Things is one of the prevalent and inevitable trends of the current era where data is found to be scattered among sensing devices. This paper addresses about preserving the privacy and security of the data that is distributed among the sensors collected by the users in Industrial Internet of Things infrastructure domain. This work adopts a dynamic authentication key agreement strategy which permits authenticated users to access the data which is distributed among various IoT sensing devices. In the proposed work an efficient Key Agreement and Authentication Scheme is designed to ensure the establishment of secure data communication. The model called Real-or-Random and tool named Automated Validation of Internet Security Protocols are deployed to ensure the secured transmission of data collected by innumerous sensors deployed across the network. Scaling of the network is done by addition of new nodes followed by pre-deployment phase and restoration of the transmission route is done effectively if any intrusion is found. The performance of the scheme is validated by measuring the parameters such as throughput, residual energy, packet dropping rate and delay analysis and it is found that the proposed scheme is superior compared with existing schemes. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management.

EDRLNet: privacy preservation in online social networks via deep reinforcement learning and graph convolutional networks

Online social networks (OSN) have become extremely popular in the past few decades. Prominent OSN companies, such as Facebook and Twitter, control a huge amount of information on its users as well as interactions that may cause people to have major privacy concerns. The OSN information is combined with other online sources to reveal sensitive information. As a result, there is a great need to anonymize the OSN data before providing it to a third party. Thus, in this study, we propose a Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL)-based rewiring operation that entails changing the relationships (edges) between nodes (users) without changing their degree to protect users’ privacy. To accomplish this, we introduce a novel technique for Enhanced DRL Networks called “EDRLNet” which combines an Optimized Policy Network (OPN) and Graph Convolutional Network (GCN) that preserves the essential characteristics of OSN data while anonymizing it to prevent privacy breaches. This approach employs a GCN to extract embeddings (features) from the edges and nodes. Furthermore, OPN applies the graph feature representation learned by the GCN model to policy learning. Additionally, the hyperparameters of OPN are optimized by using the Addax optimization algorithm (AOA). The suggested scheme’s performance is assessed using PageRank with mean-squared error (MSE), Root mean-squared error (RMSE), mean absolute error (MAE), Privacy score, Utility Score, Clustering coefficient, privacy and information loss. © Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management 2025.
