Capturing the distributed platform with remotely controlled compromised machines using botnet is extensively analyzed by various ***,certain limitations need to be addressed *** provisioning of detection mechanism with learning approaches provides a better solution more broadly by saluting multi-objective *** bots’patterns or features over the network have to be analyzed in both linear and non-linear *** linear and non-linear features are composed of high-level and low-level *** collected features are maintained over the Bag of Features(BoF)where the most influencing features are collected and provided into the classifier ***,the linearity and non-linearity of the threat are evaluated with Support Vector Machine(SVM).Next,with the collected BoF,the redundant features are eliminated as it triggers overhead towards the predictor ***,a novel Incoming data Redundancy Elimination-based learning model(RedE-L)is built to classify the network features to provide robustness towards BotNets *** simulation is carried out in MATLAB environment,and the evaluation of proposed RedE-L model is performed with various online accessible network traffic dataset(benchmark dataset).The proposed model intends to show better tradeoff compared to the existing approaches like conventional SVM,C4.5,RepTree and so ***,various metrics like Accuracy,detection rate,Mathews Correlation Coefficient(MCC),and some other statistical analysis are performed to show the proposed RedE-L model's *** F1-measure is 99.98%,precision is 99.93%,Accuracy is 99.84%,TPR is 99.92%,TNR is 99.94%,FNR is 0.06 and FPR is 0.06 respectively.

A collaborative search engine is used for a group of users who want to search information together for various group activities. This will be time saving as the users can split the work between them. Summarization is the process of condensing a document into a shorter version which will contain the important details about the document. This will be useful to quickly get the main ideas without having to go through the entire document. Our main aim is to combine collaborative search with document summarization so that it will be helpful when users in a group want to quickly read the summary of the documents whenever required. In the collaborative search, the results will be re-ranked based on the user's interaction with the system, so that feedback driven ranking of results is attained and the users in a session will be able to view pages that were even ranked by their co-mates. This re-raking process is done by obtaining the user's interest on a particular page using decision logic and updating it in the priority queue. User's meta-data like page size, click-through rate, time spent and scrolling speed of the document will be calculated and these will be used as parameters for the decision logic to find the interest level of the user. Extractive summarization is implemented with the concept of Maximum Independent Set. The raw text document is first converted into a graph having its sentences as nodes and the edge weight is the similar instances between sentences. Then graph MIS is identified and removed after which the top-n sentences are fetched upon its eigenvector centrality value and the summary is generated. © 2024 IEEE.

Satellite image classification is the most significant remote sensing method for computerized analysis and pattern detection of satellite data. This method relies on the image's diversity structures and necessitates a thorough validation of the training data using the chosen classification algorithm. The classifying of remotely sensed images refers to the process of classifying pixels into a fixed set of distinct classes based on their data values. The pixel is categorized into that class if it complies with a specific set of requirements. A new SIC scheme is suggested in this work, where, Contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE) is deployed for pre-processing the image. Further, statistical features, Vegetation Indices (VI) and Improved Hybrid Vegetation Index (IHVI) are extracted from the preprocessed image. Then, we deploy 2 phase classification process for classifying the image. In the first phase, Bi-Directional Gated Recurrent Unit (BI-GRU), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Deep Max Out (DMO) are used. In 2nd phase, optimized RNN is used for determining the final classification result. Also, the training of the model is done by the new Chaotic Opposition Behavior Improvised Coot Algorithm (COBI-CA) optimization via tuning the optimal weights. The COOT method has been enhanced and is now the suggested algorithm. Lastly, we conduct an analysis to compare the suggested Satellite Image Classification (SIC) model's performance to the traditional approaches in terms of statistical analysis, precision, accuracy, and error measure. Our world is rapidly evolving toward the Internet of Things (IoT), that connects all gadgets to digital services and simplifies our lives. As IoT devices expand, network vulnerabilities may rise, leading to more network threats. An intrusion detection system (IDS) with low latency and high accuracy is essential in this dynamic IoT environment to identify threats. Many IDSs utilize deep learning (DL) methods, but adjusting parameters for different environments can be challenging. This work proposes an improved hybrid Deep autoencoder (DAE) and Bidirectional long short-term memory (BiLSTM) for fog item installation to protect vital networks from prompt and efficient malicious threat detection. Determining the hyperparameters of complicated DL networks is tough. Low accuracy, efficiency, and performance in high-dimensional models afflict existing approaches. Therefore, the Sparrow Search Optimization Algorithm (SSOA) is adopted to enhance model hyperparameters. Employing IoT-based data, we assess the effectiveness of our suggested model. The outcome of the experiment obtained by analyzing the suggested IDS utilizing CICIDS2017 and BoT-IoT datasets attested to their supremacy over modern systems that are currently available in terms of precision, accuracy, FAR, error rate, and detection rate (DR). To learn more about how well our model works, added two additional metrics: Cohen's Kappa coefficients and Mathew correlation. The proposed optimization model demonstrated its ability to work well with various platforms, adapt to changing requirements, and handle larger workloads. In addition, it is possible to enhance the intrusion detection rate by minimizing both the error rate and computational time. Nowadays, fake profiles are programmatically created online individualities that mislead and influence others, which are done by frequently using stolen photos, fraudulent information, or fictional particulars. Hence, these fake profiles are used for malicious activities such as phishing, social engineering, catfishing, and scattering misinformation. The expansion of fake profiles is increased with triggering more damage than any other cyber-attacks. The solution has been recommended in various ways to detect fake profiles, but the existing models have more overfitting problems. To overcome these issues, a combined model of Bi-directional Gated Recurrent Unit (BiGRU) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) algorithms is proposed. Initially, data preprocessing is done on TwiBot-20 dataset with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and tokenization to remove unnecessary characters. Next, a word embedding technique name called GloVe is used to extract the optimal features, Finally, from the extracted features, the proposed BiGRU-LSTM model gives a precise rate in detecting and classifying fake profiles as human and bot generated. The proposed BiGRU-LSTM gives better results than the other compared existing methods Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and f1 score of 99.73 %, 98.23 %, 99.56 %, and 99.63 %respectively. © 2024 IEEE.

This work presents an essential module for the Transfer Learning approach's classification of melanoma skin lesions. Melanoma, a highly lethal form of skin cancer, poses a significant health threat globally. Image analysis plays a crucial role in enhancing the accuracy of malignant skin lesion classification. Although neural networks trained on extensive datasets have emerged as the latest solution, their scalability remains a challenge. This study proposes an efficient method for classifying skin lesions utilizing labelled data from open sources, leveraging EfficientNet as the foundational model to robustly capture discriminative features from diverse visual perspectives. Validation of the proposed algorithms relies on the classifier's capacity to distinguish between classes is measured by the Area Under the Receiver Operating Characteristic (AUC-ROC) curve. AUC-ROC score greater than zero denotes better classification performance. Our proposed model achieves an impressive score of 98.65%. In contrast to existing approaches, our method demonstrates swift and accurate identification and segmentation of melanoma skin lesions, showcasing its efficacy in advancing the field of skin lesion classification. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Optimizing EDM parameters for enhanced mechanical properties of aged AA2024/SiC composite using Taguchi-GRA approach

Enhancing the process parameters is crucial for dealing with aged AA2024 matrix composites as they affect various elements including mechanical properties, TWR, surface finish, and accuracy. AA2024 is selected as matrix in this study to enhance mechanical characteristics. Reinforcing material Silicon Carbide (SiC) was selected because of its exceptional mechanical qualities. So, SiC can enhance AA2024's mechanical properties. Easy fabrication, consistent reinforcement distribution, reduced oxidation and porosity susceptibility led to the stir cast method's selection for AA2024/SiC (0, 3, 6, 9, and 12 wt.%) manufacturing. The AA2024/9 wt.%SiC MMC was aged by heating it to 520 °C for 180 min and then cooling it in the furnace. The AA2024/9 wt.%SiC MMC was aged by heating it to 525 °C for 190 min and then cooling within furnace. The density of both composites was ascertained by means of a density test that was based on Archimedes' principle. The non-aged and aged AA2024 matrix composites were analyzed for their microhardness using a Vickers microhardness tester. Utilizing UTM, the tensile and compressive strengths of the composites were obtained. Their mechanical properties were used to identify the best combination of the manufactured AA2024/SiC MMCs. When comparing other combinations, the one with the best density, compressive and tensile strength, and hardness was found to be AA2024/9 wt.%SiC MMC. The objective of the aging procedure is to enhance the mechanical characteristics without incorporating reinforcements. EDM process parameters for an aged AA2024/9 wt.%SiC composite were optimized using the GRA approach, which is based on Taguchi design statistics. The optimization process utilized chromium concentration, current, and pulse-on time as input variables. SR and TWR were selected as optimization parameters.
