With the use of cognitive radio (CR) technology, wireless devices can utilize licensed spectrum when it is unused by the licensed users. CR was developed as a response to the wireless spectrum shortage issue caused by the static spectrum allocation. Using CR technology, the unlicensed users can opportunistically access the spectrum during the absence of usage by the licensed users. Clustering is a widely used technique in Cognitive Radio Networks (CRNs) to efficiently manage network resources, optimize spectrum utilization, and enhance overall network performance. This study focuses on the applications of clustering techniques in the area of CRNs like spectrum management, QoS Support, topology management, energy efficiency, routing etc. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.

Accurate significant wave height(SWH)prediction is essential for the development and utilization of wave *** learning methods such as recurrent and convolutional neural networks have achieved good results in SWH ***,these methods do not adapt well to dynamic seasonal variations in wave *** this study,we propose a novel method—the spatiotemporal dynamic graph(STDG)neural *** method predicts the SWH of multiple nodes based on dynamic graph modeling and multi-characteristic ***,considering the dynamic seasonal variations in the wave direction over time,the network models wave dynamic spatial dependencies from long-and short-term pattern ***,to correlate multiple characteristics with SWH,the network introduces a cross-characteristic transformer to effectively fuse multiple ***,we conducted experiments on two datasets from the South China Sea and East China Sea to validate the proposed method and compared it with five prediction methods in the three *** experimental results show that the proposed method achieves the best performance at all predictive scales and has greater advantages for extreme value ***,an analysis of the dynamic graph shows that the proposed method captures the seasonal variation mechanism of the waves.

In recent years, automated text classification has advanced significantly, yet poetry classification remains a relatively under-explored domain. By employing Machine Learning and pre-trained language models, the proposed paper aims to automate poetry classification and provide a comparative analysis for utilizing GPT2 (Generative Pre-Trained Transformer), BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers), and RoBERTa (Robustly Optimized BERT Pre-Training Approach). We have employed tokenization, sequence padding, and fine-tuning on a diverse dataset of poetry forms, including Sonnet, Haiku, Limerick, Acrostic, Ballad, Epigram, Sestina, and Villanelle. The proposed model is trained and evaluated on a dedicated data set using the application of AdamW Optimizer, and strives for robust classification performance. This research study yields promising results, with the Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier achieving the highest accuracy of 93.25 percent using the top 20 percent ranked features. This study contributes to the field of automated poetry analysis by integrating various embedding models and classifiers, presenting notable advancements in the categorization of poetry. © 2024 IEEE.

Cloud computing is currently the most dynamic and evolutionary segment in our computational world. Since it is widely deployed by many clients from across the industry, the cloud service providers need to keep the Quality of Service (QoS) up to the Service level Agreements (SLA). Therefore, proper management of its resource functioning is the key objective to make profit as well as to meet the client’s optimal amount of services needed to complete a job/task. In this paper we predict one of the most important resources required for the smooth functioning of the jobs with one of its kind LSTM architectures. The objective is obtaining better fidelity in less time with the real-world Google Cluster Trace Dataset 2011. For data preprocessing and extracting the essential features from the original high-dimensional workload data, we use a custom autoencoder. Long short-term memory (LSTM) is used as our deep learning algorithm to facilitate the highly variable time series workload prediction for all the jobs/tasks based on certain prediction lengths like per hour & day. For validating we compare with the previously used approaches of deep learning techniques using Facebook’s Prophet model and ARIMA models with the same dataset. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Music classification is a fundamental task in the field of Music Information Retrieval. This paper focuses on composer classification, a specific task within music classification. Compressive techniques are commonly employed in such music classification tasks. In this study, we propose a method to apply the computing Information Quantity using Maximum Probability partitioning to music classification. To evaluate the effectiveness of our proposed method, we perform composer classification, specifically distinguishing between Haydn and Mozart, who are well-known for their stylistic similarities. The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed approach outperforms traditional compression-based classification methods. Furthermore, we compare our method with non-compressive techniques, discussing the significance of feature extraction methods. Our proposed method is a parameter-free classification approach that does not require domain-specific musical expertise or feature extraction based on such expertise. © 2024, Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence. In the current restaurant business environment, factors have emerged in the manner in which consumers are attended to and the ways orders are placed. As good as these traditional systems may be, they do not offer the optimum flexibility and consumer convergence that today's client demands for fast and convenient services. Recent approaches using only basic form of automation and rule-based chatbots do offer some enhancements but lack adequate capabilities to deal with huge volumes of orders, custom recommendations and scalability according to demand. Further, the existing systems have problems with scalability, versatility to different customers' trends and needs, and real-time interactions. To overcome these challenges our work, will utilize modern advances in artificial intelligence and cloud technology. The proposed system uses Amazon Lex for NLU, A WS Lambda for processing multiple booking requests simultaneously without any intervention from the users and Amazon Polly for making interaction more interactive with personalized audio. In addition, Amazon Rekognition and A WS S3 for images will be used for analysis of images and proper storage of data respectively, enhancing the customer satisfaction by recommending products based on a past order. All these technologies integrated with A WS ecosystem in our solution will provide convenience, efficiency and passion to restaurant business proprietors to fulfill the increasing demands of modern customer. The system also supports linkage with some commonly used applications such as WhatsApp, guaranteeing that the customers receive timely updates. Thus, this solution is designed to create an improved status of restaurant ordering and eliminate the problematic experiences placed in current schemes. © 2024 IEEE.

There have been several developments in renewable resources, standby sources of energy, and storage technologies. Because renewable sources are inconsistent, the best method to ensure supply continuity is to combine them with traditional energy to serve mini-grids or the isolated loads that are not linked to the main grid. In hybrid power system, many different energy sources are blended. Every time, effective and efficient Energy Management Strategies (EMS) are necessary when more than a source of energy is employed to supply a given load. This strategy directs the energy flow via the supply chain. This is necessary not just for standalone hybrid systems, but for hybrid power system that are linked to the main network. The intelligent control of hybrid MG has been the subject of a large number of serious research projects. A comprehensive assessment of the approaches used by a number of writers in their research work on applying energy management approaches is conducted. Standalone hybrid energy systems and the hybrid systems those are linked to the electrical grids are examples of these solutions. The aim of this paper is to give summary of various energy management schemes utilized in sustainable hybrid systems. Brief study is conducted for a number of freestanding and grid-linked hybrid system designs in order to make sure and find that which energy management technique that works well and will be applied for one renewable source is not always the best for another. © 2025 IEEE.

IoT is becoming increasingly popular due to its quick expansion and variety of applications. In addition, 5G technology helps with communication and network connectivity. This work integrates C-RAN with IoT networks to provide an experimental 5G testbed. In a 5G IoT environment, this experience is utilized to enhance both perpendicular and flat localization (3D localization). DRCaG, an acronym for the proposed model, stands for a deep, complicated network with a gated layer on top. The performance of the proposed model has been demonstrated through extensive simulations in terms of learning reduction, accuracy, and matrix disorientation, with a variable signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) spanning from 20 dB to + 20 dB, which illustrates the superiority of DRCaG compared to others. An online, end-to-end solution based on deep learning techniques is presented in this study for the fast, precise, reliable, and automatic detection of diverse petty crime types. By detecting tiny crimes like hostility, bag snatching, and vandalism, the suggested system may not only identify unusual passenger behavior like vandalism and accidents but also improve passenger security. The solution performs admirably in a variety of use cases and environmental settings. © 2023 by the authors of this article. Published under CC-BY.

Leaf detection is a critical task in various fields, including agriculture, ecology, and botany, with applications ranging from plant species identification to disease diagnosis. This research paper explores the techniques used for leaf detection, the applications where it is employed, and the challenges faced in this domain. Traditional image processing techniques, machine learning approaches, deep learning-based methods, and hybrid approaches are examined and compared. The applications of leaf detection include agriculture and crop monitoring, plant species identification, disease diagnosis and management, ecological studies, and remote sensing. The challenges in leaf detection arise from the variability in leaf shapes and textures, occlusion and complex backgrounds, realtime processing requirements, and robustness to environmental factors. Future directions and emerging trends in multi-modal leaf detection, domain adaptation, integration of remote sensing technologies, and advanced image analysis techniques are discussed. The findings of this research have implications for further research and practical applications, highlighting the need for more robust and accurate leaf detection techniques and the utilization of advanced technologies. The research contributes to a deeper understanding of plant ecosystems, optimization of agricultural practices, and improved management of natural resources. © 2023 IEEE.

The Internet of Things (IoT) has revolutionized our lives, but it has also introduced significant security and privacy challenges. The vast amount of data collected by these devices, often containing sensitive information, makes them prime targets for cyberattacks. Traditional security methods struggle to keep pace with the evolving threat landscape of the interconnected IoT world. In response, this paper explores the transformative potential of federated learning (FL) in safeguarding both the privacy and security of IoT devices. FL keeps data on individual devices, only sharing updated models, not raw data, thus protecting user privacy and eliminating the need for a central data storage server, which reduces the risk of data breaches and security vulnerabilities. The effectiveness of the proposed model is evaluated using established open-source datasets like NSL-KDD and UNSW NB15, ensuring real-world applicability. Analysis of the dataset's features enabled the development of a model utilizing federated learning. Notably, the proposed model achieved superior performance with FL in detecting attacks on IoT networks. Furthermore, this research investigates the transformative potential of FL to address the inherent security and privacy challenges plaguing traditional, centralized data collection methods in the ever-expanding realm of IoT devices. FL empowers collaborative learning on distributed datasets, allowing devices to collectively improve security without compromising user privacy. The findings of this study demonstrate the promise of FL as a secure and privacy-preserving solution for the future of IoT. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.
