Image captioning has gained increasing attention in recent *** characteristics found in input images play a crucial role in generating high-quality *** studies have used visual attention mechanisms to dynamically focus on localized regions of the input image,improving the effectiveness of identifying relevant image regions at each step of caption ***,providing image captioning models with the capability of selecting the most relevant visual features from the input image and attending to them can significantly improve the utilization of these ***,this leads to enhanced captioning network *** light of this,we present an image captioning framework that efficiently exploits the extracted representations of the *** framework comprises three key components:the Visual Feature Detector module(VFD),the Visual Feature Visual Attention module(VFVA),and the language *** VFD module is responsible for detecting a subset of the most pertinent features from the local visual features,creating an updated visual features ***,the VFVA directs its attention to the visual features matrix generated by the VFD,resulting in an updated context vector employed by the language model to generate an informative *** the VFD and VFVA modules introduces an additional layer of processing for the visual features,thereby contributing to enhancing the image captioning model’s *** the MS-COCO dataset,our experiments show that the proposed framework competes well with state-of-the-art methods,effectively leveraging visual representations to improve *** implementation code can be found here:https://***/althobhani/VFDICM(accessed on 30 July 2024).

The use of privacy-enhanced facial recognition has increased in response to growing concerns about data securityand privacy in the digital age. This trend is spurred by rising demand for face recognition technology in a varietyof industries, including access control, law enforcement, surveillance, and internet communication. However,the growing usage of face recognition technology has created serious concerns about data monitoring and userprivacy preferences, especially in context-aware systems. In response to these problems, this study provides a novelframework that integrates sophisticated approaches such as Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Blockchain,and distributed computing to solve privacy concerns while maintaining exact face recognition. The framework’spainstaking design and execution strive to strike a compromise between precise face recognition and protectingpersonal data integrity in an increasingly interconnected environment. Using cutting-edge tools like Dlib for faceanalysis,Ray Cluster for distributed computing, and Blockchain for decentralized identity verification, the proposedsystem provides scalable and secure facial analysis while protecting user privacy. The study’s contributions includethe creation of a sustainable and scalable solution for privacy-aware face recognition, the implementation of flexibleprivacy computing approaches based on Blockchain networks, and the demonstration of higher performanceover previous methods. Specifically, the proposed StyleGAN model has an outstanding accuracy rate of 93.84%while processing high-resolution images from the CelebA-HQ dataset, beating other evaluated models such asProgressive GAN 90.27%, CycleGAN 89.80%, and MGAN 80.80%. With improvements in accuracy, speed, andprivacy protection, the framework has great promise for practical use in a variety of fields that need face recognitiontechnology. AMCB: enhancing the authentication process with blockchain integrated with PUF and machine learning

The rapid advancement of technology has given rise to medical cyber-physical systems (MCPS), a subset of cyber-physical systems (CPS) specifically tailored for patient care and healthcare providers. MCPS generate substantial volumes of big data, posing challenges in terms of processing, storage, and safeguarding against unauthorized access. This paper introduces the Authenticated Medical Cyber-Physical Blockchain (AMCB) model within MCPS, leveraging Blockchain technology, machine learning, and physically unclonable functions (PUF) to fortify the authentication process, particularly for accessing electronic health records (EHR) stored on cloud servers. The model also involves analyzing data from authenticated devices to ensure its integrity. Experiments on the AMCB model evaluate its efficiency across four layers. In the physical layer, PUF keys are extracted using a built Static Random-Access Memory (SRAM) circuit and stored in a simulated Blockchain, yielding a Hamming Distance standard deviation of 6.60%. The inspection layer analyzes data from authenticated devices using machine learning, with the Random Forest achieving the highest accuracy at 99.21%. In the application layer, centered on user authentication, the average transaction time is 36.15 MS. Overall, the AMCB model requires an average of 49.82 ms to execute operations across all layers. These findings underscore the effectiveness of the proposed model in securing EHR in the dynamic landscape of MCPS. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

In pursuit of enhancing the Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs)energy efficiency and operational lifespan,this paper delves into the domain of energy-efficient routing ***,the limited energy resources of Sensor Nodes(SNs)are a big challenge for ensuring their efficient and reliable *** data gathering involves the utilization of a mobile sink(MS)to mitigate the energy consumption problem through periodic network *** mobile sink(MS)strategy minimizes energy consumption and latency by visiting the fewest nodes or predetermined locations called rendezvous points(RPs)instead of all cluster heads(CHs).CHs subsequently transmit packets to neighboring *** unique determination of this study is the shortest path to reach *** the mobile sink(MS)concept has emerged as a promising solution to the energy consumption problem in WSNs,caused by multi-hop data collection with static *** this study,we proposed two novel hybrid algorithms,namely“ Reduced k-means based on Artificial Neural Network”(RkM-ANN)and“Delay Bound Reduced kmeans with ANN”(DBRkM-ANN)for designing a fast,efficient,and most proficient MS path depending upon rendezvous points(RPs).The first algorithm optimizes the MS’s latency,while the second considers the designing of delay-bound paths,also defined as the number of paths with delay over bound for the *** methods use a weight function and k-means clustering to choose RPs in a way that maximizes efficiency and guarantees network-wide *** addition,a method of using MS scheduling for efficient data collection is *** simulations and comparisons to several existing algorithms have shown the effectiveness of the suggested methodologies over a wide range of performance indicators.

Sentiment analysis can be used to identify if a text’s sentiment is neutral, positive, or negative. One type of natural language processing is sentiment analysis. An interdisciplinary field encompassing linguistics, computer science, and artificial intelligence called “natural language processing” studies how computers and human language interact, with a focus on how to teach computers to process and analyze vast volumes of natural language data. Sentiment analysis, sometimes referred to as opinion mining or emotion artificial intelligence, is the methodical identification, extraction, quantification, and study of affective states and subjective data using natural language processing, text analysis, computational linguistics, and biometrics. Sentiment analysis is frequently used in online and social media platforms, voice of the customer materials (such as reviews and survey replies), and healthcare materials for marketing, customer service, and clinical medicine purposes.
