Any number that can be uniquely determined by a graph is called graph *** the most recent twenty years’innumerable numerical graph invariants have been described and used for correlation *** the fast and advanced environment of manufacturing of networks and other products which used different networks,no dependable assessment has been embraced to choose,how much these invariants are connected with a network graph or molecular *** this paper,it will talk about three distinct variations of bridge networks with great capability of expectation in the field of computer science,chemistry,physics,drug industry,informatics,and mathematics in setting with physical and synthetic constructions and networks,since K-Banhatti invariants are newly introduced and have various forecast characteristics for various variations of bridge graphs or *** review settled the topology of bridge graph/networks of three unique sorts with three types of K-Banhatti *** concluded outcomes can be utilized for the modeling of interconnection networks of Personal computers(PC),networks like Local area network(LAN),Metropolitan area network(MAN)and Wide area network(WAN),the spine of internet and different networks/designs of PCs,power generation interconnection,bio-informatics and chemical structures.

YoNet: A Neural Network for Yoga Pose Classification

Yoga has become an integral part of human life to maintain a healthy body and mind in recent times. With the growing, fast-paced life and work from home, it has become difficult for people to invest time in the gymnasium for exercises. Instead, they like to do assisted exercises at home where pose recognition techniques play the most vital role. Recognition of different poses is challenging due to proper dataset and classification architecture. In this work, we have proposed a deep learning-based model to identify five different yoga poses from comparatively fewer amounts of data. We have compared our model’s performance with some state-of-the-art image classification models-ResNet, InceptionNet, InceptionResNet, Xception and found our architecture superior. Our proposed architecture extracts spatial, and depth features from the image individually and considers them for further calculation in classification. The experimental results show that it achieved 94.91% accuracy with 95.61% precision. © 2023, The Author(s).

In the field of automated language processing, distinguishing between Moroccan Arabic (Darija) in multilingual contexts is a major challenge. This study addresses this challenge by exploiting feature selection techniques to improve the accuracy of tongue detection. Using a comprehensive methodology integrating various feature selection methods, including TF-idf, CBOW, Word2Vec for feature extraction, LASSO regression, decision trees for machine learning techniques, and statistical feature selection such as ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Mutual information, alongside semantic techniques by developing our semantic encoders adapted to Arabic data, we strive to uncover the most important, relevant language features while attenuating the noise. As a result, we have obtained robust results by applying the famous XGBOOST, with conventional extraction methods and SVD as a dimensional reduction method with a very reasonable execution time. Our experimental results highlight the effectiveness of feature selection techniques to reinforce supervised learning tasks. This research not only advances the field of natural language processing but also highlights the central role of feature selection in deciphering complex linguistic landscapes. © Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management 2024.

Autistic individuals, or individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), often experience challenges in social relations and may experience increased stress or anxiety. Recent studies highlight the potential of socially assistive robots (SARs) as tools for robot-assisted interventions. However, current human-robot interaction (HRI) designs lack consideration for the diverse anxiety issues in individuals with ASD and the need for personalized, empathetic assistance. The question that persists is whether the most recent individualized and modular intervention program for autism can also be effectively implemented through the use of SARs. This study presents a novel HRI framework that incorporates psychological factors into a modular intervention aimed at reducing user’s anxiety levels. The developed system integrates techniques such as human pose estimation and motion imitation while also leveraging conversational agents. During the user study, users engaged in interactions with a humanoid robot equipped with multiple intervention modules, and their anxiety and perceptions of the robot’s empathy were assessed through questionnaires in a within-participants study design. Results show the implemented system effectively mitigated users’ anxiety by assessing the differences between pre-session and post-session scores. Additionally, our findings suggest that the observed change in empathetic scores may be a contributing factor to the reduction in anxiety levels. The study offers significant insights into the use of SARs for mental health support in autistic adolescents.

This paper aims to achieve scalable exact output synchronization for discrete-time homogeneous multi-agent systems in the presence of disturbances and measurement noise with known frequencies. The key contribution of this paper is on the distributed protocol that only uses the information of agent models, rather than the communication network information and the agent number, so as to achieve the scalable exact synchronization under disturbances and measurement noise. The validity of the protocol is verified by numerical simulations with arbitrarily chosen number of agents. © 2023 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

A collaborative search engine is used for a group of users who want to search information together for various group activities. This will be time saving as the users can split the work between them. Summarization is the process of condensing a document into a shorter version which will contain the important details about the document. This will be useful to quickly get the main ideas without having to go through the entire document. Our main aim is to combine collaborative search with document summarization so that it will be helpful when users in a group want to quickly read the summary of the documents whenever required. In the collaborative search, the results will be re-ranked based on the user's interaction with the system, so that feedback driven ranking of results is attained and the users in a session will be able to view pages that were even ranked by their co-mates. This re-raking process is done by obtaining the user's interest on a particular page using decision logic and updating it in the priority queue. User's meta-data like page size, click-through rate, time spent and scrolling speed of the document will be calculated and these will be used as parameters for the decision logic to find the interest level of the user. Extractive summarization is implemented with the concept of Maximum Independent Set. The raw text document is first converted into a graph having its sentences as nodes and the edge weight is the similar instances between sentences. Then graph MIS is identified and removed after which the top-n sentences are fetched upon its eigenvector centrality value and the summary is generated.

Coordinated Motion Planning: Multi-Agent Path Finding in a Densely Packed, Bounded Domain

We study Multi-Agent Path Finding for arrangements of labeled agents in the interior of a simply connected domain: Given a unique start and target position for each agent, the goal is to find a sequence of parallel, collision-free agent motions that minimizes the overall time (the makespan) until all agents have reached their respective targets. A natural case is that of a simply connected polygonal domain with axis-parallel boundaries and integer coordinates, i.e., a simple polyomino, which amounts to a simply connected union of lattice unit squares or cells. We focus on the particularly challenging setting of densely packed agents, i.e., one per cell, which strongly restricts the mobility of agents, and requires intricate coordination of motion. We provide a variety of novel results for this problem, including (1) a characterization of polyominoes in which a reconfiguration plan is guaranteed to exist;(2) a characterization of shape parameters that induce worst-case bounds on the makespan;(3) a suite of algorithms to achieve asymptotically worst-case optimal performance with respect to the achievable stretch for cases with severely limited maneuverability. This corresponds to bounding the ratio between obtained makespan and the lower bound provided by the max-min distance between the start and target position of any agent and our shape parameters. Our results extend findings by Demaine et al. [13, 14] who investigated the problem for solid rectangular domains, and in the closely related field of Permutation Routing, as presented by Alpert et al. [6] for convex pieces of grid graphs. CyberSCADA is a soft target for industrial cyber attackers. The success of such attacks on the Smart Grid can be devastating owing to the countless processes and systems that depend on the Grid for daily operations. This paper demonstrates techniques and provides insights to help detect intrusions in the mission-critical business network as they target Cyber-Physical Systems. Several Machine Learning algorithms (ML) have been implemented at different phases of the ML pipeline in the study in view of identifying suitable models for the prediction and classifications. Ensemble classifiers have been found very potent for feature extraction and model boosting. Adaboost, GradientBoost and XGboost all yielded 99% for accuracy, precision, recall and F1-Score. During Training and Testing using 75% trainSet and 25% testSet ORNL Electric Testbed dataset, both Decision Tree (DT) and K-Neighbor (KNN) yielded the Accuracy, Precision, Recall and F1-Score 99% with a Detection Rate 63% and 80% respectively. Gaussian Naïve Bayes (GNB) produced the best Detection Rate 99% though with significantly low values for other metrics. At k-fold of 10 for cross-validation, RF yielded the best accuracy 100%, followed by DT 99%, KNN 98% and LogReg 92% with low False Positive Rates. The Area under ROC Curve shows RF 99%, KNN 99%, DT 96% and LogReg 95%. DT and KNN are considered suitable for the effective classification of attacks and prediction while GNB offers better attack detection for intrusion detections in the Grid network. Adaboost, GradientBoost and XGboost are crucial in boosting performances of ML algorithms in attack classification problems. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is one of the biggest threats to Ecuador’s health. The intake of processed foods has been linked to a higher risk of T2DM. This paper proposes FoodSub, a mobile application to recommend substitutes for processed foods using the NOVA Classification. Nutrient-based food clustering is used to identify substitute pairs between processed and unprocessed foods. The recommendations are supported and personalized using a knowledge graph that contains foods, dietary guidelines, and user information. In addition, a chatbot is implemented to answer simple questions about foods. This chatbot is developed using a Large Language Model (LLM) to query the knowledge graph. The mobile application and the chatbot are evaluated in terms of usability;both perform well, but there is room for improvement. Additionally, the recommendations’ performance is evaluated through expert verification. The recommendations perform well when issues like food transformation processes, flavor, context, or meal time are not relevant. Future work will consider the enhancement of the chatbot and the improvement of substitute recommendations for the relevant cases. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
