Meditation is a family of ancient and contemporary contemplative mind-body practices that can modulate psychological processes, awareness, and mental states. Over the last 40 years, clinical science has manualized meditation practices and designed various meditation interventions that have shown therapeutic efficacy for disorders including depression, pain, addiction, and anxiety. Over the past decade, neuroimaging has been used to examine the neuroscientific basis of meditation practices, effects, states, and outcomes for clinical and nonclinical populations. However, the generalizability and replicability of current neuroscientific models of meditation have not yet been established, because they are largely based on small datasets entrenched with heterogeneity along several domains of meditation (e.g., practice types, meditation experience, clinical disorder targeted), experimental design, and neuroimaging methods (e.g., preprocessing, analysis, task-based, resting-state, structural magnetic resonance imaging). These limitations have precluded a nuanced and rigorous neuroscientific phenotyping of meditation practices and their potential benefits. Here, we present ENIGMA (Enhancing Neuro Imaging Genetics through Meta Analysis)–Meditation, the first worldwide collaborative consortium for neuroscientific investigations of meditation practices. ENIGMA-Meditation will enable systematic meta- and mega-analyses of globally distributed neuroimaging datasets of meditation using shared, standardized neuroimaging methods and tools to improve statistical power and generalizability. Through this powerful collaborative framework, existing neuroscientific accounts of meditation practices can be extended to generate novel and rigorous neuroscientific insights that account for multidomain heterogeneity. The advent of Big data has led to the rapid growth in the usage of parallel clustering algorithms that work over distributed computing frameworks such as MPI,MapReduce,and *** important step for any parallel clustering algorithm is the distribution of data amongst the cluster *** step governs the methodology and performance of the entire *** typically use random,or a spatial/geometric distribution strategy like kd-tree based partitioning and grid-based partitioning,as per the requirements of the ***,these strategies are generic and are not tailor-made for any specific parallel clustering *** this paper,we give a very comprehensive literature survey of MPI-based parallel clustering algorithms with special reference to the specific data distribution strategies they *** also propose three new data distribution strategies namely Parameterized Dimensional Split for parallel density-based clustering algorithms like DBSCAN and OPTICS,Cell-Based Dimensional Split for dGridSLINK,which is a grid-based hierarchical clustering algorithm that exhibits efficiency for disjoint spatial distribution,and Projection-Based Split,which is a generic distribution *** of these preserve spatial locality,achieve disjoint partitioning,and ensure good data load *** experimental analysis shows the benefits of using the proposed data distribution strategies for algorithms they are designed for,based on which we give appropriate recommendations for their usage.

The primary aim of identifying the binding motifs in gene regulation is to understand the transcriptional regulation molecular mechanism systematically. In this study, the (, d) motif search issue was considered which entails finding the length motifs which differ by at most d substitutions. However, identifying the high-quality pattern (, d) is challenging. It is intended to address the above problem with motif discovery and handle it using the proposed algorithm S2F (Segmentation to Filtration) based on the qPMS (quorum Planted Motif Search) algorithm model. From the entire DNA sequences, five percent are chosen at random to be used in the motif discovery process. This random sub segment (subseg) portion is split up into base, sub k-mers, and its sizes (motif length ()) are determined by the iterative approach. Corresponding to the sizes of and d (mutations), the k-mers are chosen which participated in filtration techniques and the base k-mer count and frequency are updated. The highest frequency of k-mer is recognized as the motif. The algorithm’s performance was evaluated using the two real datasets Escherichia coli cyclic AMP receptor protein (CRP) and mouse Embryonic Stem Cell (mESC) ChIP-seq (Chromatin Immuno Precipitation) dataset. Results from the experiments show that S2F can identify the motifs and appear faster compared to previous state-of-the-art PMS (Planted Motif Search) and qPMS algorithms. One of the primary organ is the skin. It protects and separates humans from various dangers. Nevertheless, the skin is susceptible to damage and can develop pigmented lesions. Manual classification of Pigmented Skin Lesions(PSL) is a major challenge due to availability and bias of physician, time consuming, invasive methods are painful and with elevated expenses. To overcome this, in this paper, two automated computer vision based approaches (using and without using dimensionality reduction) are employed by modelling multi-deep features using Support Vector Machine(SVM) for classification of PSL. The suggested system comprises of two operational stages. Initially, the performance of six Convolutional Neural Network models (VGG16, VGG19, AlexNet, Xception, ResNet50, and EfficientB3) in deep feature extraction and three types of hand-crafted features extraction methods (HOG, LBP, and SIFT) employing SVM are evaluated. The top three CNN models (AlexNet, ResNet50, and EfficientB3) based on accuracy are used to form binary and ternary early fusion hybrid models to classify the skin lesions. In the second stage, combining multiple CNN models resulted in increased dimensionality and number of features. These features are then classified using SVM once in the higher dimension and again by reducing the dimensionality by applying Principal Component Analysis(PCA). The accuracies of the combined models are then compared. It is observed that the ternary early fusion model with SVM (Alexnet+Resnet50+EfficientB3-SVM) produces the highest accuracy of 82.22% with higher number of features whereas the same model while using PCA produces the accuracy of 81.57%. Consequently, the findings indicate the suggested techniques are useful for classification of PSL. © 2024 IEEE.

Authorship attribution, also known as authorship classification, is the problem of identifying the authors （reviewers） of a set of documents （reviews）. The common approach is to build a classifier using supervised learning. This approach has several issues which hurts its applicability. First, supervised learning needs a large set of documents from each author to serve as the training data. This can be difficult in practice. For example, in the online review domain, most reviewers （authors） only write a few reviews, which are not enough to serve as the training data. Second, the learned classifier cannot be applied to authors whose documents have not been used in training. In this article, we propose a novel solution to deal with the two problems. The core idea is that instead of learning in the original document space, we transform it to a similarity space. In the similarity space, the learning is able to naturally tackle the issues. Our experiment results based on online reviews and reviewers show that the proposed method outperforms the state-of-the-art supervised and unsupervised baseline methods significantly.

Most evolutionary robotics studies focus on evolving some targeted behavior without considering energy usage. In this paper, we extend our simulator with a battery model to take energy consumption into account in a system where robot morphologies and controllers evolve simultaneously. The results show that including the energy consumption in the fitness in a multi-objective fashion reduces the average size of robot bodies while reducing their speed. However, robots generated without size reduction can achieve speeds comparable to robots from the baseline set. © 2021 Owner/Author.

Innovative technology solutions have been developed in response to the growing need for effective and customized client contact on e-commerce platforms. This work introduces an intelligent chatbot system that uses machine learning and text mining techniques to improve user satisfaction and answer customer concerns. Advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) models have been trained on large datasets, allowing for precise user intent interpretation and pertinent product recommendations. A strong recommendation engine is included into the system architecture to aid in decision-making, ultimately enhancing the customer experience by providing individualized, real-time help. The goal of this project is to draw a deeper understanding of the subjective nature behind online product reviews, largely by examining a large dataset received from Amazon that contains numerous star ratings and comments. Since there is such a massive amount of data on the Amazon platform, it was perfect for the analysis. Our methodology is platform-agnostic and can be easily extended to other comparable datasets from other web platforms with comparable guarantees in achieving wide applicability. Our primary motivation is improving the dependability of online shopping. Since product reviews are currently widely used by many consumers as guides in making decisions to buy products, such reviews ought to be fair representations of the actual dependability and quality of the products. The goal of our effort is to identify patterns in the language and ratings of such reviews that would directly reflect the real customer sentiment and also the reliability of the product. Our approach has yielded already a rate of about 92%, which shows it has the potential greatly to raise the legitimacy of online reviews. We'd like to make our customers feel more confident and better equipped with information to make better and safer purchases on a website like Amazon and others. In the final analysis, we strive to make online shopping for our customers worldwide safer and more trustworthy. © 2024 IEEE.

The basis of this project is to investigate whether the YOLO, an object detection algorithm where 'You Only Look Once' constitutes the name, could be applied to develop FMCG management;together with the management of FMCG, it becomes the gateway to increasing retail precision, efficiency, and agility. Under real-time processing, the system detects and counts FMCG products on retail shelves with an accuracy rate of 92.5%. This accuracy ensures that the optimum stock levels are maintained and there will be no discrepancies. The system processes video feeds at 0.08 seconds per frame, thus allowing inventory data to be updated in real-time to enable quick, data-driven decisions. YOLO's flexibility ensures consistent performance across different store layouts and product types. This system integrates with other retail management tools and allows integrating inventory data in the real time. This means that it would be made available with invaluable insights which would prevent stock depletion while helping to curtail costs. This project takes YOLO ahead of just being a game changer in the FMCG inventory management while operating to reduce expenses and customer satisfaction due to product availability. © 2024 IEEE.
