This research work presents a novel language intervention system for Tamil-speaking children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The system satisfies the considerable requirement for tools aimed at one more section of population that has actually been forgotten by mainstream economics. Traditional language learning applications often lack specificity for diverse linguistic contexts, focusing on general learning rather than the unique challenges faced by ASD children. The proposed solution leverages Deep Learning (DL) modules to transform partial spoken Tamil words into complete, child-friendly vocabulary. This system goes beyond simple word completion;it incorporates interactive features to engage children with ASD and promote active learning. Preliminary evaluations yielded promising results, suggesting the system's potential in enhancing communication skills among Tamil-speaking children with ASD. This paper research study reviews the limitations of existing language learning tools and the rationale behind employing a DL-based approach. We discuss the specific DL architecture (e.g., Recurrent Neural Networks) envisioned for the system and how it will be trained on a corpus of Tamil speech data. This study also investigate the potential advantages beyond vocabulary learning, such as improved sentence formulation and the development of practical language abilities. Future ambitions include broadening the system's scope to include more languages, refining the DL model through ongoing training with enriched datasets, and conducting extensive user research with varied ASD populations. Validation across demographics is critical to ensuring the system's efficiency and generality. This research has the potential to bridge the language acquisition gap for Tamil-speaking children with ASD, empowering them to develop crucial communication skills and fostering their social inclusion. © 2024 IEEE.

Steel Surface Defect Detection Using Learnable Memory Vision Transformer

Youth unemployment represents an urgent global socioeconomic challenge. This study combines machine learning and exploratory data analysis to understand and solve this problem comprehensively. Traditional approaches often rely on qualitative assessments and historical data requiring a data-driven transition to more effective solutions. Our approach integrates machine learning algorithms and Exploratory data Analysis techniques to analyze diverse data sets, identify influencing factors, and recommend targeted interventions. The analysis process includes data collection, preprocessing, feature selection, machine learning modeling, and Exploratory data Analysis techniques to understand the dynamics of the Better understanding unemployment among young people. Preliminary results reveal precise predictive patterns and previously unrecognized relationships, providing evidence-based solutions to inform policy and support the economic well-being of younger generations. Further research and validation are needed to increase applicability. © 2023 IEEE.

Satellite image classification is the most significant remote sensing method for computerized analysis and pattern detection of satellite data. This method relies on the image's diversity structures and necessitates a thorough validation of the training data using the chosen classification algorithm. The classifying of remotely sensed images refers to the process of classifying pixels into a fixed set of distinct classes based on their data values. The pixel is categorized into that class if it complies with a specific set of requirements. A new SIC scheme is suggested in this work, where, Contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE) is deployed for pre-processing the image. Further, statistical features, Vegetation Indices (VI) and Improved Hybrid Vegetation Index (IHVI) are extracted from the preprocessed image. Then, we deploy 2 phase classification process for classifying the image. In the first phase, Bi-Directional Gated Recurrent Unit (BI-GRU), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Deep Max Out (DMO) are used. In 2nd phase, optimized RNN is used for determining the final classification result. Also, the training of the model is done by the new Chaotic Opposition Behavior Improvised Coot Algorithm (COBI-CA) optimization via tuning the optimal weights. The COOT method has been enhanced and is now the suggested algorithm. Lastly, we conduct an analysis to compare the suggested Satellite Image Classification (SIC) model's performance to the traditional approaches in terms of statistical analysis, precision, accuracy, and error measure. The use of the ADAM (Adaptive Moment Estimation) and SGD (Stochastic Gradient Descent) algorithms to optimize the YOLOv7(You Only Look Once), YOLOv8, and YOLO-NAS models for weed detection in agricultural landscapes is investigated in this study. Offering a thorough comparative study based on mean Average Precision (mAP), recall, and precision measures is the goal. When compared to YOLOv7, YOLOv8 regularly performs better, exhibiting balanced recall and higher precision. With remarkable mAP scores at IOU (Intersection Over Union) 0.50, YOLOv8 ADAM in particular sticks out, demonstrating strong weed identification abilities. The YOLOv7 ADAM exhibits a precision-recall trade-off, with precision being slightly sacrificed for recall. Model superiority is not solely determined by the optimization algorithm used (ADAM vs. SGD);YOLOv8 variations perform admirably. For real-world implementation, practical factors like processing efficiency and deployment viability are even more important than quantitative criteria. This work establishes the foundation for comprehending the complex trade-offs and advantages that are present in every model and algorithm, in addition to helping with the educated selection of the best YOLO models for weed detection. Future research directions in object detection in agriculture, including ensemble techniques and hyperparameter tuning, promise more advancements in this subject as technology develops. © 2024 IEEE.

A hybrid memory architecture supporting fine-grained data migration

NeuroProbe: A Performance Profiling Feed Forward Neural Network Simulator for Hardware Interaction Analysis

NeuroProbe is a simple neural network simulator designed by authors specifically for educational purposes focusing on simulating inference phase on a computationally capable embedded hardware, aiming to provide a deeper understanding of hardware interactions and performance improvement. This simulator incorporates performance profiling capabilities, allowing students and educators to analyze and optimize the performance of a simulated trained neural network. By simulating the intricate hardware interactions, NeuroProbe enables users to gain insights into how various components impact the overall performance of neural networks. Using this simulator, learners can experiment with different configurations and architectures, identify potential bottlenecks, and explore optimization strategies to enhance neural network performance before deploying the model on an Edge Computing environment. It also enriches computer science education by enabling learners to gain deeper insights into hardware interactions and performance improvement. By identifying performance bottlenecks, learners can refine their understanding of neural networks and develop skills in optimizing their models for enhanced performance. In conclusion, NeuroProbe empowers users to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation of neural network on an embedded device, fostering a more comprehensive understanding of neural networks and their hardware requirements. Currently, it is focused solely on single-threaded CPU-based computation enabling SSE, AVX. The growing prominence of wind energy as an eco-friendly power alternative amplifies the need for optimal turbine performance. Central to this is the ability to accurately predict and modulate the wind turbine pitch. Our research focuses on integrating adaptive control strategies with advanced power generation analytics to enhance pitch prediction precision. We have processed and analyzed vast amounts of wind data using state-of-the-art data analytics to discern patterns in wind velocity changes accurately. The continuous stream of real-time data is the backbone of our adaptive controls, ensuring perpetual pitch adjustments that optimize energy capture. In tandem with this, we present a thorough analysis linking momentary wind shifts to power production, ensuring consistent and efficient power output. The culmination of these methodologies offers a breakthrough solution in wind energy optimization. Preliminary results highlight the paramount importance of real-time data analytics in revolutionizing green energy advancements. © 2023 IEEE.

The introduction of the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), has drastically transformed the worldwide landscape of healthcare delivery. The proliferation of IoMT devices in healthcare systems brings new issues in guaranteeing the security and privacy of sensitive patient data. We must secure a substantial amount of sensitive data from modification since IoMT is a high-volume, continually developing data domain. Since then, blockchain (BC) technology has been recognised as a distributed ledger that can manage a huge number of intelligent transactions and increase data security at the same time. A comprehensive resource management system may be offered by Blockchain-based security mechanisms with specific customisation and additional levels of authentication and verification. It has functioned brilliantly as a crucial component of the Bitcoin cryptocurrency. This work creates a blockchain-based Internet of Medical Things security management system using homomorphic encryption (HE). Key generation shows how the DOA may enhance cryptographic system security and efficacy. The IoMT-based HE-DOA system provided in this study employs blockchain to secure data exchange and diagnostic models. HE-DOA allows safe data transmission and diagnostic models with BC aid in IoMT. The recommended technique includes data collecting, encryption, and categorization. Blockchains (BCs) securely store data, and IoMT devices are crucial to early data collection. For data encryption, the dingo optimisation algorithm (DOA) may generate the key. Performance experiments and comparison with similar protocols show that the recommended procedure may enhance PSNR, accuracy, and computational time by 19.34%, 95.78%, and 1.887ms, respectively. Comparing HE-DOA to prior studies shows its scalability and durability. © 2024 IEEE.
