As in the existing opinion summary data set, more than 70% are positive texts, the current opinion summarization approaches are reluctant to generate the negative opinion summary given the input of negative opinions. To address such sentiment bias, two approaches are proposed through two perspectives: model-specific and model-agnostic. For the model-specific approach, a variational autoencoder is proposed to disentangle the input representation into sentiment-relevant and sentiment-irrelevant components through adversarial loss. Therefore, the sentiment information in the input is kept and employed for the following decoding which avoids interference of content information with emotional signals. To further avoid relying on some specific opinion summarization frameworks, a model-agnostic approach based on counterfactual data augmentation is proposed. A dataset with a more balanced emotional polarity distribution is constructed using a large pre-trained language model based on some pairwise and mini-edited principles. Experimental results show that the sentiment consistency of the generated summaries is significantly improved using the proposed approaches, while their semantics quality is unaffected. © 2024 ELRA Language Resource Association: CC BY-NC 4.0.

Video generative models are receiving particular attention given their ability to generate realistic and imaginative frames. Besides, these models are also observed to exhibit strong 3D consistency, significantly enhancing their potential to act as world simulators. In this work, we present Vidu4D, a novel reconstruction model that excels in accurately reconstructing 4D (i.e., sequential 3D) representations from single generated videos, addressing challenges associated with non-rigidity and frame distortion. This capability is pivotal for creating high-fidelity virtual contents that maintain both spatial and temporal coherence. At the core of Vidu4D is our proposed Dynamic Gaussian Surfels (DGS) technique. DGS optimizes time-varying warping functions to transform Gaussian surfels (surface elements) from a static state to a dynamically warped state. This transformation enables a precise depiction of motion and deformation over time. To preserve the structural integrity of surface-aligned Gaussian surfels, we design the warped-state geometric regularization based on continuous warping fields for estimating normals. Additionally, we learn refinements on rotation and scaling parameters of Gaussian surfels, which greatly alleviates texture flickering during the warping process and enhances the capture of fine-grained appearance details. Vidu4D also contains a novel initialization state that provides a proper start for the warping fields in DGS. Equipping Vidu4D with an existing video generative model, the overall framework demonstrates high-fidelity text-to-4D generation in both appearance and geometry. Phishing attacks present a persistent and evolving threat in the cybersecurity land-scape,necessitating the development of more sophisticated detection *** machine learning approaches to phishing detection have relied heavily on feature engineering and have often fallen short in adapting to the dynamically changing patterns of phishingUniformResource Locator(URLs).Addressing these challenge,we introduce a framework that integrates the sequential data processing strengths of a Recurrent Neural network(RNN)with the hyperparameter optimization prowess of theWhale Optimization Algorithm(WOA).Ourmodel capitalizes on an extensive Kaggle dataset,featuring over 11,000 URLs,each delineated by 30 *** WOA’s hyperparameter optimization enhances the RNN’s performance,evidenced by a meticulous validation *** results,encapsulated in precision,recall,and F1-score metrics,surpass baseline models,achieving an overall accuracy of 92%.This study not only demonstrates the RNN’s proficiency in learning complex patterns but also underscores the WOA’s effectiveness in refining machine learning models for the critical task of phishing detection.

In a rapidly evolving job market, skill demand forecasting is crucial as it enables policymakers and businesses to anticipate and adapt to changes, ensuring that workforce skills align with market needs, thereby enhancing productivity and competitiveness. Additionally, by identifying emerging skill requirements, it directs individuals towards relevant training and education opportunities, promoting continuous self-learning and development. However, the absence of comprehensive datasets presents a significant challenge, impeding research and the advancement of this field. To bridge this gap, we present Job-SDF, a dataset designed to train and benchmark job-skill demand forecasting models. Based on millions of public job advertisements collected from online recruitment platforms, this dataset encompasses monthly recruitment demand. Our dataset uniquely enables evaluating skill demand forecasting models at various granularities, including occupation, company, and regional levels. We benchmark a range of models on this dataset, evaluating their performance in standard scenarios, in predictions focused on lower value ranges, and in the presence of structural breaks, providing new insights for further research. Over the past few years, there has been a significant surge in the use of deep learning models for automated charge identification tasks, yielding impressive results. However, these models still face several limitations when it comes to explaining the rationale behind charge predictions. Recent research has sought to enhance interpretability by extracting discriminative features from factual descriptions. Nevertheless, such studies often neglect a thorough examination of the corresponding legal provisions. To tackle this issue, the objective of this paper is to establish a fine-grained connection between charges and factual components, specifically identifying charge-discriminative facts that encompass essential legal elements. Several challenges need to be addressed, including the presence of noisy sentences, imbalanced data, and the need for distinct legal elements corresponding to different charges. To tackle these challenges, this paper reframes the task as a few-shot text classification problem and introduces a meta-learning framework that integrates legal element information through a prototypical network. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach in improving charge prediction accuracy and establishing meaningful associations between charges and factual evidences. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The epidemic growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) objects have revolutionized Maritime Transportation Systems (MTS). Though, it becomes challenging for the centralized cloud-centric framework to fulfil the application requirements such as low latency and power utilization. The introduction of the distributed edge-centric framework has recently helped the IoT-enabled MTS to meet these requirements by manipulating the tasks at the edge of the networks. Despite the fact that MTS leverages mobile subscribers by overcoming inherent cloud computing limitations, data security and user privacy requirements in establishing the MTS setup are still non-trivial challenges. In this article, we develop a key agreement solution for mobile users to realize mutual authentication in a single round. Our protocol offers user anonymity to maintain user privacy, and it can prevent physical attacks by physically unclonable functions. Initially, the security analysis is conferred to substantiate our protocol's security persistence or strength. Later, its performance correlation is observed under the assumption of diverse metrics in a predefined empirical setup. The meticulous performance correlation endorses the precedence of our protocol over specified related protocols. © 2000-2011 IEEE.

Agile development aims at rapidly developing software while embracing the continuous evolution of user requirements along the whole development *** stories are the primary means of requirements collection and elicitation in the agile development.A project can involve a large amount of user stories,which should be clustered into different groups based on their functionality’s similarity for systematic requirements analysis,effective mapping to developed features,and efficient ***,the current user story clustering is mainly conducted in a manual manner,which is time-consuming and subjective to human *** this paper,we propose a novel approach for clustering the user stories automatically on the basis of natural language ***,the sentence patterns of each component in a user story are first analysed and determined such that the critical structure in the representative tasks can be automatically extracted based on the user story *** similarity of user stories is calculated,which can be used to generate the connected graph as the basis of automatic user story *** evaluate the approach based on thirteen datasets,compared against ten baseline *** results show that our clustering approach has higher accuracy,recall rate and F1-score than these *** is demonstrated that the proposed approach can significantly improve the efficacy of user story clustering and thus enhance the overall performance of agile *** study also highlights promising research directions for more accurate requirements elicitation.

3D reconstruction based on single view aims to reconstruct the entire 3D shape of an object from one *** existing methods reconstruct the mesh surface of complex objects,the surface details are difficult to predict and the reconstruction visual effect is poor because the mesh representation is not easily integrated into the deep learning framework;the 3D topology is easily limited by predefined templates and inflexible,and unnecessary mesh self-intersections and connections will be generated when reconstructing complex topology,thus destroying the surface details;the training of the reconstruction network is limited by the large amount of information attached to the mesh vertices,and the training time of the reconstructed network is too *** this paper,we propose a method for fast mesh reconstruction from single view based on Graph Convolutional network(GCN)and topology *** use GCN to ensure the generation of high-quality mesh surfaces and use topology modification to improve the flexibility of the ***,a feature fusion method is proposed to make full use of the features of each stage of the image *** use 3D open dataset ShapeNet to train our network and add a new weight parameter to speed up the training *** experiments demonstrate that our method can not only reconstruct object meshes on complex topological surfaces,but also has better qualitative and quantitative results.
