Machine Learning(ML)-based prediction and classification systems employ data and learning algorithms to forecast target ***,improving predictive accuracy is a crucial step for informed *** the healthcare domain,data are available in the form of genetic profiles and clinical characteristics to build prediction models for complex tasks like cancer detection or *** ML algorithms,Artificial Neural networks(ANNs)are considered the most suitable framework for many classification *** network weights and the activation functions are the two crucial elements in the learning process of an *** weights affect the prediction ability and the convergence efficiency of the *** traditional settings,ANNs assign random weights to the *** research aims to develop a learning system for reliable cancer prediction by initializing more realistic weights computed using a supervised setting instead of random *** proposed learning system uses hybrid and traditional machine learning techniques such as Support Vector Machine(SVM),Linear Discriminant Analysis(LDA),Random Forest(RF),k-Nearest Neighbour(kNN),and ANN to achieve better accuracy in colon and breast cancer *** system computes the confusion matrix-based metrics for traditional and proposed *** proposed framework attains the highest accuracy of 89.24 percent using the colon cancer dataset and 72.20 percent using the breast cancer dataset,which outperforms the other *** results show that the proposed learning system has higher predictive accuracies than conventional classifiers for each dataset,overcoming previous research ***,the proposed framework is of use to predict and classify cancer patients ***,this will facilitate the effective management of cancer patients.

With the aging population, health issues have become a significant challenge for society. The increasing demand for remote medical services stems from changing interests in reducing healthcare costs and the sudden outbreak of COVID-19 globally. As the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud technology advance rapidly worldwide, this trend has driven the digital transformation of biotechnology and pharmaceutical-related industries. Health care is shifting from a focus on medical institutions to a decentralized approach, emphasizing care facilities and home-based services. However, remote medical care brings about certain challenges, such as limited appointment availability due to network constraints, concerns about internet security, data encryption, privacy issues, and lack of awareness among people in remote areas. With the continuous development and widespread adoption of technology, smart home systems have become an integral part of modern life. In this project, the system emphasizes interaction with the elderly and utilizes the multifunctionality of touch screens. It provides various features through a simple and user-friendly interface, including health monitoring, outpatient services, life assistance, and social interaction functions. In the future, the system can incorporate more interactive features for the elderly, such as mini-games to enhance cognitive abilities, hand-eye coordination, or rehabilitation training. © 2024 Big Data Analytics, Data Mining and Computational Intelligence. Owing to the development of the Internet of Things (IoT), smart electrical appliances bring convenience to life. However, smart home appliances are too cumbersome as their interface operations are mostly not intuitive with less practicability than expected. Taiwan has an island climate, and the summer weather is scorching. An easy-to-use and practical electric fan is indispensable for cooling off the heat, which is the research object of this study to make users feel comfortable. In this study, image recognition technology was introduced. The user turns on the fan manually or through the mobile APP, and selects the tracking mode through the mode function. The camera with the fan detects the user's position and then starts to track the user. The device is equipped with a smoke sensor and a camera to monitor the user's home. The fan proves the feasibility of the conceptual architecture. © 2024 IEEE.

In this work, a novel methodological approach to multi-attribute decision-making problems is developed and the notion of Heptapartitioned Neutrosophic Set Distance Measures (HNSDM) is introduced. By averaging the Penta-Partitioned Neutrosophic Distance Measures under particular conditional criteria, the suggested technique ranks the options. Additionally, we explore the fundamental characteristics of HNSDM and provide several illustrative theorems. The Heptapartitioned Neutrosophic Set Distance Measures are formulated based on the Hepta Neutrosophic Set. Lastly, a practical numerical example is provided to illustrate the efficacy of the suggested methodology. © 2025, University of New Mexico. All rights reserved.

A new era of data access and management has begun with the use of cloud computing in the healthcare *** the efficiency and scalability that the cloud provides, the security of private patient data is still a majorconcern. Encryption, network security, and adherence to data protection laws are key to ensuring the confidentialityand integrity of healthcare data in the cloud. The computational overhead of encryption technologies could leadto delays in data access and processing rates. To address these challenges, we introduced the Enhanced ParallelMulti-Key Encryption Algorithm (EPM-KEA), aiming to bolster healthcare data security and facilitate the securestorage of critical patient records in the cloud. The data was gathered from two categories Authorization forHospital Admission (AIH) and Authorization for High Complexity *** use Z-score normalization forpreprocessing. The primary goal of implementing encryption techniques is to secure and store massive amountsof data on the cloud. It is feasible that cloud storage alternatives for protecting healthcare data will become morewidely available if security issues can be successfully fixed. As a result of our analysis using specific parametersincluding Execution time (42%), Encryption time (45%), Decryption time (40%), Security level (97%), and Energyconsumption (53%), the system demonstrated favorable performance when compared to the traditional *** suggests that by addressing these security concerns, there is the potential for broader accessibility to cloudstorage solutions for safeguarding healthcare data.

Joint View Selection, Multigroup Multicast Beamforming, and DIBR for RIS-Aided Multi-View Videos

The rapid development of multi-view videos (MVV) transmission is an irresistible trend. Concurrently, reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-assisted wireless communication has drawn significant attention. We observe that the view selection based on the base station and the view synthesis based on depth-image-based rendering (DIBR) can effectively reduce power consumption. Therefore, this paper studies the view selection and synthesis for RIS-aided MVV in multigroup multicast beamforming. To deal with this complicated scenario, we investigate a problem, named the joint View selection, Multicast beamforming, and DIBR (JVMD), to minimize the total multicast beamforming power, the view transmission operation power, and view synthesis, subject to quality-of-service (QoS), RIS phase shifts, view selection, and DIBR constraints. Unfortunately, the mathematical model is a complicated mixed discrete-continuous optimization problem. To tackle this challenging problem, we designed an algorithm, named View selection, Beamforming, RIS phase, and DIBR (VBRD) algorithm. First, we deal with the discrete optimization problem of selecting the view. VBRD uses the dual-based approximation methodology to round back a primal's integer solution. Then, in the continuous optimization problem, we apply the alternating optimization (AO) method to determine beamforming, RIS phase, and DIBR. Finally, simulation results show the performance of exploiting view synthesis for RIS-assisted wireless communication. © 2002-2012 IEEE.

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) is utilized in wireless local area networks (WLANs) to improve channel utilization and increase network throughput. However, random transmissions by wireless stations can lead to Resource Unit Collision Problem (RUCP) and Hidden Node induced RUCP (HN-RUCP), significantly degrading network throughput. Therefore, this paper proposes a Cluster-based OFDMA MAC protocol using the Carrier-sensing scheme, CC-OFDMA, for dense WLANs. Simulation results conducted using MATLAB show that the CC-OFDMA MAC protocol outperforms related works in terms of transmission latency and collisions. © 2023 IEEE.

For many industrial applications, the smart card is a necessary safety component in user authentication. Smart cards provided to the users are used in open and public places, making them susceptible to physical and cloning attacks. Thus, the opponent can break the authentication process without the smart card if the information is exposed. In addition, many existing authentication systems employ challenge-response pairs (CRPs) to identify users by creating large numbers of data on the server and spending much time looking for and comparing responses. To address these concerns, we propose a lightweight privacy-preserving authentication protocol in which the physically unclonable function is considered a necessary tool. The suggested technique avoids creating a significant number of CRPs on the server to identify users uniquely. Under formal security models, the proposed protocol is resistant to user impersonation attacks and session key disclosure attacks and achieves robust mutual authentication. Nonetheless, it is immune to other essential security vulnerabilities. Empirical performance analysis demonstrates its viability in comparison to prior works. © 2023 IEEE.
