Mobile Opportunistic networks (MONs) often experience frequent interruptions in end-to-end connections, which increases the likelihood of message loss during delivery and makes users more susceptible to various cyber attacks. However, most currently proposed anonymous routing protocols are primarily designed for networks with stable connections, making it challenging to protect user identities in MONs. To address these challenges, we propose FLAG-POR (Forward Legal Anonymous Group Pairing-Onion Routing), a novel anonymous routing protocol specifically tailored to enhance message delivery anonymity and security in MONs. Specifically, we abstract the mobile opportunistic network as a contact graph. By introducing the concept of "groups» into the pairing-onion routing protocol, which encrypts messages and relay nodes layer by layer, we develop a novel group-based pairing-onion routing protocol. This protocol ensures message confidentiality and relay node anonymity, while also improving message forwarding rates, as any node within a group can potentially act as a relay. To ensure message authenticity, we employ the efficient SM2 signing algorithm to generate signatures for the message source. Furthermore, by incorporating parameters such as the public key validity period and master key validity period into the group pairing-onion routing protocol, we achieve forward security in message delivery. We conduct a thorough theoretical analysis of the protocol's security and performance. The experimental results demonstrate that our FLAG-POR protocol outperforms baseline anonymous protocols in terms of delivery success rate, traceability rate, path anonymity, and node anonymity. Additionally, the FLAG-POR scheme effectively resists three potential threats to the routing system: collusion attack threat, node identification threat, and path identification threat, in any situation. © 2002-2012 IEEE.

Kidney disease (KD) is a gradually increasing global health concern. It is a chronic illness linked to higher rates of morbidity and mortality, a higher risk of cardiovascular disease and numerous other illnesses, and expensive medical expenses. The machine learning (ML) models are applied for KD prediction with higher accuracy and precision. The KD dataset has uncertainty and vague information, so, we used the neutrosophic set (NS) to deal with vague and uncertainty information in the KD dataset. The KD dataset is converted into the N-KD dataset with three membership functions: truth, indeterminacy, and falsity. Three ML models are used in this study such as logistic regression (LR), support vector machine (SVM), and k-nearest neighbor (KNN). These ML models are applied to the N-KD dataset. The results show the LR has higher accuracy and precision on the N-KD dataset than the original KD dataset. © 2025, University of New Mexico. All rights reserved.

A significant proportion of web elements might manifest identical behaviors and functionalities, further complicating the test case creation process. We have noted that elements demonstrating congruent behavior and functionality frequently exhibit visual resemblances within the web page interface. In this paper, we propose a machine learning-based method to identify visually similar web elements. These identified elements can be brought to the attention of the tester. If the tester determines that these elements exhibit similar behavior, they can be visually marked on the web page, facilitating focused test case creation. A case study demonstrates its potential to make accurate judgments on several complex webpages. © 2023 IEEE.

Enhancing the security of Wireless Sensor networks(WSNs)improves the usability of their ***,finding solutions to various attacks,such as the blackhole attack,is crucial for the success of WSN *** paper proposes an enhanced version of the AODV(Ad Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector)protocol capable of detecting blackholes and malfunctioning benign nodes in WSNs,thereby avoiding them when delivering *** proposed version employs a network-based reputation system to select the best and most secure path to a *** achieve this goal,the proposed version utilizes the Watchdogs/Pathrater mechanisms in AODV to gather and broadcast reputations to all network nodes to build the network-based reputation *** minimize the network overhead of the proposed approach,the paper uses reputation aggregator nodes only for forwarding reputation ***,to reduce the overhead of updating reputation tables,the paper proposes three mechanisms,which are the prompt broadcast,the regular broadcast,and the light broadcast *** proposed enhanced version has been designed to perform effectively in dynamic environments such as mobile WSNs where nodes,including blackholes,move continuously,which is considered a challenge for other *** the proposed enhanced protocol,a node evaluates the security of different routes to a destination and can select the most secure routing *** paper provides an algorithm that explains the proposed protocol in detail and demonstrates a case study that shows the operations of calculating and updating reputation values when nodes move across different ***,the paper discusses the proposed approach’s overhead analysis to prove the proposed enhancement’s correctness and applicability.

Socially Aware V2X Localized QoS

Vehicle to Everything (V2X) is a core 5G technology. V2X and its enabler, Device-to-Device (D2D), are essential for the Internet of Things (IoT) and the Internet of Vehicles (IoV). V2X enables vehicles to communicate with other vehicles (V2V), networks (V2N), and infrastructure (V2I). While V2X enables ubiquitous vehicular connectivity, the impact of bursty data on the network's overall Quality of Service (QoS), such as when a vehicle accident occurs, is often ignored. In this work, we study both 4G and 5G V2X utilizing Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access New Radio (E-UTRA-NR) and propose the use of socially aware 5G NR dual connectivity (en-DC) for traffic differentiation. We also propose localized QoS, wherein high-priority QoS flows traverse 5G road side units (RSUs) and normal-priority QoS flows traverse 4G base station (BS). We formulate a max-min fair QoS-aware nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA) resource allocation scheme, QoS reclassify. QoS reclassify enables localized QoS and traffic steering to mitigate bursty network traffic's impact on the network's overall QoS. We then solve QoS reclassify via integer linear programming (ILP) and derive its approximation. We demonstrate that both optimal and approximation QoS reclassify resource allocation schemes in our socially aware QoS management methodology outperform socially unaware legacy 4G V2X algorithms (no localized QoS support, no traffic steering) and socially aware 5G V2X (no localized QoS support, yet utilizes traffic steering). Our proposed QoS reclassify scheme's QoS flow end-to-end latency requires only approx 15% of the time legacy 4G V2X requires. © 2014 IEEE.
