MSC Codes 65N22, 65K10, 65F45We explore the features of two methods of stabilization, aggregation and supremizer methods, for reduced-order modeling of parametrized optimal control problems. In both methods, the reduced basis spaces are augmented to guarantee stability. For the aggregation method, the reduced basis approximation spaces for the state and adjoint variables are augmented in such a way that the spaces are identical. For the supremizer method, the reduced basis approximation space for the state-control product space is augmented with the solutions of a supremizer equation. We implement both of these methods for solving several parametrized control problems and assess their performance. Results indicate that the number of reduced basis vectors needed to approximate the solution space to some tolerance with the supremizer method is much larger, possibly double, that for aggregation. There are also some cases where the supremizer method fails to produce a converged solution. We present results to compare the accuracy, efficiency, and computational costs associated with both methods of stabilization which suggest that stabilization by aggregation is a superior stabilization method for control problems. © 2023, CC BY.

Cloud storage is an emerging archetype used by businesses for data storage. Clients require easy access to data in the cloud, which helps clients with limited computing power move their high-value, high-risk principle jobs to the cloud. The primary concern of this study is towards flawless verifying, checking data bundles, and determining modules to carry out the project. As discussed at several research platforms, each client is concerned about data storage and retrieval. Data security is critical in cloud computing, and thus monitoring has evolved into a vigilance that abstracts the monitoring process. Request made by clients for security planning is always computationally exclusive. As a result, each customer is concerned as to their verified condition. This paper will highlight a secure cloud communication method for client data to address the afore-mentioned issues. Synchronization creates secret hare keys, combined with a model-encrypted data packet sent to the cloud. These secure data are then sent over a public network, subject to monitoring to avert data leakage to an unauthorized party. They lack the cohesion to outsource data storage to the cloud deliberately. As an outcome of this model's distribution, the perception of authorized data owners would be changed regarding cloud storage up to 97.6%, addressing the trust issues between data owners and cloud ace affiliations © 2023, Human-centric computing and Information *** Rights Reserved.

In order to connect patients, technology, and healthcare facilities, as well as to efficiently and carefully address the changing needs of medical ecosystems, the smart medical system is evolving into a medical policy service that makes use of wearables, online services, and mobile devices. This article examines some of the challenges that users must overcome in order to adopt intelligent medical technology more quickly and gain access to constant healthcare. The essay examines the integration of a fuzzy-based hybrid strategy to produce intelligently designed health solutions. The patient can access medical services, including monitoring, medication management, and emergency readiness, from anywhere at any time with the help of the intelligent healthcare management system. The adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) is a tool that this study suggests using to identify security concerns and evaluate them while developing online applications. First, the security risk concerns associated with developing web applications for healthcare have been identified in this paper. The ANFIS technique has since been used to assess these security issues. Additionally, a fuzzy regression model is suggested by this study.

With a focus on the use of Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) approaches to predict students' academic performance, the study provides an extensive review of the literature on the application of artificial neural networks (ANNs) and machine learning (ML) techniques. The study highlights the possible advantages of implementing cutting-edge technology innovations like analytics and data mining in learning environments. The analysis reveals that the reviewed literature primarily focuses on higher education. The results show that LSTM-CNN and data mining methodologies are consistently integrated, suggesting a trend in using these combined approaches to evaluate academic progress. No observable patterns were found in spite of the variability in the input variables, which was dictated by the study's context and the availability of data. It is acknowledged, nevertheless, that there is a dearth of hard data regarding the effective application of these strategies for raising student achievement and outcomes. The study emphasizes how critical it is to close the theoretical and practical divides regarding the limited applicability of LSTM-only CNN models in practical educational contexts. It highlights the need for more research to address this discrepancy and suggests putting more effort into creating and putting into practice strategies that directly improve student performance and help schools achieve their goals.

In this paper, the problem of vehicle service mode selection (sensing, communication, or both) and vehicle connections within terahertz (THz) enabled joint sensing and communications over vehicular networks is studied. The considered network consists of several service provider vehicles (SPVs) that can provide: 1) only sensing service, 2) only communication service, and 3) both services, sensing service request vehicles, and communication service request vehicles. Based on the vehicle network topology and their service accessibility, SPVs strategically select service request vehicles to provide sensing, communication, or both services. This problem is formulated as an optimization problem, aiming to maximize the number of successfully served vehicles by jointly determining the service mode of each SPV and its associated vehicles. To solve this problem, we propose a dynamic graph neural network (GNN) model that selects appropriate graph information aggregation functions according to the vehicle network topology, thus extracting more vehicle network information compared to traditional static GNNs that use fixed aggregation functions for different vehicle network topologies. Using the extracted vehicle network information, the service mode of each SPV and its served service request vehicles will be determined. Simulation results show that the proposed dynamic GNN based scheme can improve the number of successfully served vehicles by up to 17% compared to a GNN based algorithm with a fixed neural network model.

One of the most essential self-configuring and independent wireless networks is the MANET. MANET employs a large number of intermediate nodes to exchange information without the need for any centralized infrastructure. However, some nodes act in a selfish manner, utilizing the network's resources solely for their own benefit and refusing to share with the surrounding nodes. Mobile ad hoc network security is a critical factor that is widely accepted. Selfish nodes are the primary problem of MANET. In a MANET, nodes that are only interested in themselves do not involve in the process of packet forwarding. A node can be identified as selfish or malicious due to some misbehavior reasons. Selfishness on the part of network nodes may be a factor in the low delivery ratio of packets and data loss. A high end-to-end delay is caused by node failure in a MANET network. To study the selfish node attack, a malicious selfish node is put into the network, and a trust-based algorithm for the selfish node attack is also suggested. In order to discover a solution to this issue, we have developed an algorithm called SNRM for the detection of selfish nodes. The routing protocol used in this paper for analysis is AODV. Using a simulation tool, PDR and end-to-end delay are evaluated and compared.

In the era of global digitalization, digital innovation hubs have become essential, as they function as transforming forces. In this paper, we provide an analysis of the Montenegrin Academic Digital Innovation Hub by applying multi-criteria qualitative evaluation over several criteria: process flow of fully digitized operations of the Hub (with aspects of the innovation life-cycle, ethics, and security), resource management, strategic goals, and feasibility. Lung infection or sickness is one of the most common acute ailments in humans. Pneumonia is one of the most common lung infections, and the annual global mortality rate from untreated pneumonia is increasing. Because of its rapid spread, pneumonia caused by the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) has emerged as a global danger as of December 2019. At the clinical level, the COVID-19 is frequently measured using a Computed Tomography Scan Slice (CTS) or a Chest X-ray. The goal of this study is to develop an image processing method for analyzing COVID-19 infection in CTS patients. The images in this study were preprocessed using the Hybrid Swarm Intelligence and Fuzzy DPSO algorithms. The findings suggest that the proposed method is more dependable, accurate, and simple than existing methods. © 2021 institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.
