The deep learning model depends on the specific requirements of our recommender system and the characteristics of the Arabic textual data we are working with it Consider experimenting with multiple models to determine which one performs best for our particular use case, in our case we used Large Arabic Book Review (LABR) is a large sentiment analysis dataset for the Arabic language. It consists of over 63,000 book reviews and Other Datasets such as Amazon Products reviews that we can translate to Arabic and then use for the task, each dataset are tested by three models of deep learning (CNN, RNN, LSTM)and classified by three method (rating, polarity, balance polarity)classification for three type of feature extraction (Bow, TF-IDF, word embedding) after do train 70% and test 30% we get based on the results and the task at hand, if CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) has proven in both training and testing phases to be the most effective among LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) and RNN (Recurrent Neural Network).

A chest radiology scan can significantly aid the early diagnosis and management of COVID-19 since the virus attacks the *** X-ray(CXR)gained much interest after the COVID-19 outbreak thanks to its rapid imaging time,widespread availability,low cost,and *** radiological investigations,computer-aided diagnostic tools are implemented to reduce intra-and inter-observer *** lately industrialized Artificial Intelligence(AI)algorithms and radiological techniques to diagnose and classify disease is *** current study develops an automatic identification and classification model for CXR pictures using Gaussian Fil-tering based Optimized Synergic Deep Learning using Remora Optimization Algorithm(GF-OSDL-ROA).This method is inclusive of preprocessing and classification based on *** data is preprocessed using Gaussian filtering(GF)to remove any extraneous noise from the image’s ***,the OSDL model is applied to classify the CXRs under different severity levels based on CXR *** learning rate of OSDL is optimized with the help of ROA for COVID-19 diagnosis showing the novelty of the *** model,applied in this study,was validated using the COVID-19 *** experiments were conducted upon the proposed OSDL model,which achieved a classification accuracy of 99.83%,while the current Convolutional Neural Network achieved less classification accuracy,i.e.,98.14%.

The Smart Power Grid (SPG) is pivotal in orchestrating and managing demand response in contemporary smart cities, leveraging the prowess of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). Within the immersive SPG environment, the ubiquitous deployment of smart meters stands as a testament to their paramount importance in the realm of vigilant monitoring and oversight. These smart meters are installed on high-tension electricity lines and transmit information about electricity outages and other issues to the utility center. To access services from utility centers, smart meters need to communicate securely over a public channel, even though the network itself is insecure. However, potential attacks from adversaries ( Ad) can exploit this communication. Therefore, protecting this communication is of utmost importance. Several privacy-preserving authentication protocols designed for SPG have been introduced in the literature. Nevertheless, a significant number of these protocols exhibit vulnerabilities to diverse security attacks. This article introduces a lightweight and anonymous authentication protocol specifically designed to address these concerns in the SPG environment. Our protocol ensures both security and efficiency, surpassing other comparable protocols in terms of its lightweight nature. By employing both formal and informal analysis, we showcase the robustness of our protocol against significant attacks while remaining lightweight. The proposed protocol provides added security features and incurs 23.8879% lower computation cost than related protocols. Consequently, our protocol is highly suitable for implementation in the SPG system. © 2020 IEEE.

In robotics applications, ensuring reliable performance in the presence of actuator faults is essential for maintaining system safety and reliability. This paper presents a tolerant tracking control method for permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) based on adaptive dynamic programming and fault compensation. The method simultaneously considers tracking accuracy and energy consumption through a policy iteration algorithm. In the optimality analysis of the algorithm, more relaxed conditions are provided to demonstrate that the performance function can converge to a near-optimal value within a finite number of iterations. In practical implementation, an actor-critic network is used to approximate the performance function and control protocol, alongside a fault detection mechanism based on an expanded time horizon, which achieves fault detection from arbitrary initial values. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified using a high-fidelity PMSM model in Simulink. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

This paper introduces XMeta-OS, a meta-operating system specially designed with Linux as its foundation to unify and optimize resource management for the distributed edge-cloud when dynamic use of GPU resources is possible. This approach offer a new GPU abstraction layer and dynamic edge-cloud allocation model that offer enhanced flexibility and resource utilization over existing systems like Kubernetes and OpenStack. By using likely sensitive data, the model applied cloud-pushed deployment model. XMeta-OS manages computer resources in real-time. Therefore, fulfilling high performance various needs. It allocates CPU and GPU in real-time to workloads requiring massive parallel processing, such as machine learning, scientific simulations, real-time data analytics, and transportation tasks. Fabrication in the laboratory of an edge-cloud environment can help to assess the scalability, fault tolerance and efficiency of the system. It showcases the overall architectural design of XMeta-OS. Changes to the kernel and security solutions for safe and effective distribution are suggested. This article presents the design of the XMeta-OS. The future of XMeta-OS entails usage and testing with which we see latency, energy, computation and other such measurements in labs. XMeta-OS is a solution to cost performance, emerging application, large-scale edge-cloud deployments, and distributed GPU-enabled infrastructures. Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) systems are commonly used for protecting resources from unauthorized accesses. They perform the access decision process taking into account a set of attributes describing the features of the subjects executing the accesses, the resources being accessed, and the environment. In this paper, we propose to enhance traditional ABAC systems by integrating them with the novel Self Sovereign Identity (SSI) paradigm. More precisely, we propose a novel access control framework, leveraging the well known eXtensible Access Control Markup Language (XACML) standard for ABAC systems, which allows to exploit SSI credentials as sources of users' attributes for policy evaluation. Finally, we showcase a prototype implementation of our proposal, and we analyze its performance when evaluating XACML policies integrating SSI credentials with a variable number of attributes. © 2024 IEEE.

Real-time social interactions and multi-streaming are two critical features of live streaming services. In this paper, we formulate a new fundamental service query, Social-aware Diverse and Preferred Organization Query (SDSQ), that jointly selects a set of diverse and preferred live streaming channels and a group of socially tight viewers for organization of a live multi-streaming soiree. We prove that SDSQ is NP-hard and inapproximable within any factor, and design SDSSel, a 2-approximation algorithm with a guaranteed error bound. Moreover, we study SDSQ-T, a special case of SDSQ, where the social graph is a threshold graph, and propose TDSSel, a 2-approximation algorithm without any error to SDSQ-T. We propose two pruning strategies, PCP and CDP to boost SDSSel and TDSSel. We further propose a more challenging but practical service query, Generalized Social-aware Maximum Preferred and Diverse Query (GSPQ), a generalization of SDSQ. We design GPDSel, a 4-approximation algorithm for GSPQ with a guaranteed error bound. We propose a strategy to improve the approximation ratios of the proposed algorithms. A user study on Twitch validates SDSQ, and the large-scale experiments on real datasets demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithms over several baselines for live-streaming services. © 2008-2012 IEEE.

The process of using ICT to provide services to the public is known as the Indonesian e-Government system, or Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik (SPBE). The e-Government initiative in Jakarta Provincial Health Office involves enhancing collaboration among public health entities for efficient data exchange and streamlined processes, especially between the Provincial and District Health Offices, public hospitals, government clinics, and primary health care centers (Puskesmas). Achieving interoperability requires standardized protocols and a well-defined architectural model to integrate data seamlessly. This study presents a provincial-level architectural model focused on improving electronic health records interoperability, aiming to promote the adoption of the national Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) health information exchange platform and enhance the integrity of health data in Jakarta. The study methodology involves conducting literature reviews, observations, and discussions with representatives from healthcare facilities to develop the e-Government architecture model and prototype of the infrastructure layer aiming to facilitate the interoperability of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) across 93 healthcare facilities, all of which are part of the SPBE users. © 2024 IEEE.

A variable-length cross-packet hybrid automatic repeat request (VL-XP-HARQ) is proposed to accommodate ultrareliable low-latency communications (URLLC). The spectral efficiency (SE) is firstly derived in terms of the outage probabilities, with which the SE is proved to be upper bounded by the ergodic capacity (EC). Moreover, to facilitate the maximization of the SE, the asymptotic outage probability is obtained at high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), with which the SE is maximized by properly choosing the number of new information bits while guaranteeing outage requirement. By applying Dinkelbach's transform, the fractional objective function is transformed into a subtraction form, which can be decomposed into multiple sub-problems through alternating optimization. By noticing that the asymptotic outage probability is a convex function, each sub-problem can be easily relaxed to a convex problem by adopting successive convex approximation (SCA). Finally, numerical results are presented for verification. © 2024 IEEE.

AFuNet: an attention-based fusion network to classify texts in a resource-constrained language

In the era of widespread Internet use and extensive social media interaction, the digital realm is accumulating vast amounts of unstructured text data. This unstructured data often contain undesirable information, necessitating time-consuming manual classification efforts. An intelligent text classification system capable of automatically categorizing digitized texts based on semantic meaning is crucial. However, this task is particularly challenging for low-resource languages like Bengali due to a shortage of annotated corpora, issues with out-of-vocabulary words, lack of domain-specific hyperparameter tuning, limited ability to extract generalized text features, and class imbalances within the corpus. AFuNet: an attention-based fusion network to classify texts in a resource-constrained language. AFuNet undergoes a comprehensive four-phase experimental process, including baseline model evaluation and hyperparameter tuning, late fusion and model selection, attention-based early fusion and model identification, and an ablation study with impact analysis. Fine-tuned based on five Bengali text classification corpora, AFuNet achieves impressive accuracies: 96.60 ± 0.2 (BTCC11), 85.37 ± 0.2 (OSBC), 97.35 ± 0.2 (BARD), 93.74 ± 0.2 (IndicNLP), and 96.51 ± 0.2 (ProthomAlo). In comparison with previous state-of-the-art models on these corpora, AFuNet demonstrates significant accuracy improvements ranging from 0.54% to 4.49%, showcasing its effectiveness in advancing text classification capabilities for the Bengali language. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2025.
