Nowadays, the application prospect of cloud storage is more and more extensive, and the security problem of cloud storage has become one of the hotspots of research. Searchable encryption can make full use of the huge computing resources of cloud servers and solve the problem of secure search after data encryption and upload. However, the existing searchable encryption schemes have the problems of high computational cost, low security, and insufficient flexibility in the way of searching keywords. In order to solve these problems, we propose a new certificateless multi-user fuzzy keyword searchable encryption scheme, which introduces the key distribution center, effectively reduces the computational cost, solves the problem of certificate management and key escrow, and uses the optimized wildcard technology to realize the fuzzy search of multiple users, which is not only brings convenience to users, but also realizes flexible search methods. Finally, the analysis results show that our scheme has indistinguishable security under keyword guessing attacks. Simulation experiments and performance analysis results show that our scheme has higher computational efficiency. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

The sharing of electronic health records (EHR) has shown significant advantages in the accurate diagnosis of patients and the development of medical institutions. However, due to the privacy and sensitivity of medical data, it is easy to cause security issues such as difficulty in data sharing among different medical institutions and easy leakage of data privacy. Because the blockchain has the characteristics of non-tampering, anonymity, and decentralization. We propose a blockchain-based searchable proxy re-encryption scheme for EHR security storage and sharing. First, we use blockchain and cloud server to store encrypted EHR together to prevent EHR from being tampered with and leaked. Secondly, we use a certificateless encryption and proxy re-encryption based on identity and type scheme as a data sharing protocol. Meanwhile, searchable encryption technology is used to generate a keyword index. Moreover, the proxy node is selected by the delegated proof-of-stake (DPOS) consensus algorithm, which ensures the privacy, immutability and security. It realizes the safe access of third-party data users to medical health data. Finally, security analysis and evaluation show that our scheme can resist identity disguise and replay attacks. Training sophisticated machine learning models usually requires many training samples. Especially in healthcare settings these samples can be very expensive, meaning that one institution alone usually does not have enough. Merging privacy-sensitive data from different sources is usually restricted by data security and data protection measures. This can lead to approaches that reduce data quality by putting noise onto the variables (e.g., in Ε-differential privacy) or omitting certain values (e.g., for k-anonymity). Other measures based on cryptographic methods can lead to very time-consuming computations, which is especially problematic for larger multi-omics data. We address this problem by introducing ESCAPED, which stands for Efficient SeCure And PrivatE Dot product framework. ESCAPED enables the computation of the dot product of vectors from multiple sources on a third-party, which later trains kernel-based machine learning algorithms, while neither sacrificing privacy nor adding noise. We have evaluated our framework on drug resistance prediction for HIV-infected people and multi-omics dimensionality reduction and clustering problems in precision medicine. In terms of execution time, our framework significantly outperforms the best-fitting existing approaches without sacrificing the performance of the algorithm. Even though we only present the benefit for kernel-based algorithms, our framework can open up new research opportunities for further machine learning models that require the dot product of vectors from multiple sources. The identity-based signcryption scheme combines the advantages of the signcryption scheme and the identity-based cryption scheme, which has high calculation and communication efficiency and easy key management. In order to effectively solve the problems of high latency and data information privacy during the secure transmission of drone data to cloud servers, we propose an identity-based proxy signcryption scheme that supports outsourcing decryption and member revocation. The complex bilinear pairing calculation is outsourced to the cloud server to reduce the user's computing overhead. When an illegal user wants to access the data, the illegal user's identity value ID will be put into the revocation list and the update private key algorithm is executed to generate an update password for the unrevoked user Key, revoked users lose the ability to decrypt because they cannot obtain the updated key that matches them. The identity-based signcryption scheme protected by the proxy can satisfy unforgeability and forward security. Leprosy (Hansen’s disease) is an infectious, neglected tropical disease caused by the Mycobacterium Leprae (M. Leprae). Each year there are approximately 2,02,189 new cases are detected globally. In the year 2017 more than half million people were disabled due to leprosy and almost 50000 new cases are added every year world wide. In leprosy, lepra reactions are the major cause for nerve damage leading to disability. Early detection of lepra reactions through study of biomarkers have important role in prevention of subsequent disabilities. To our knowledge there seems to be very limited literature available on within-host modeling at cellular level involving the crucial biomarkers and the possible optimal drug regimen for leprosy disease and lepra reactions. Motivated by these observations, in this study, we have proposed and analyzed a three dimensional mathematical model to capture the dynamics of susceptible schwann cells, infected schwann cells and the bacterial load based on the pathogenesis of leprosy. We initially have established the existence of solution and later validated the model through the disease characteristics of leprosy. Further we dealt with the local and global stability of different equilibria about the reproduction number value R0 = 1. Later for numerical studies we estimated the parameters from various clinical papers to make the model more practical. The sensitivity of couple of parameters was evaluated through Partial Rank Correlation Coefficient (PRCC) method to find out the single most influential parameter and also combination of two most influential parameters was studied using Spearman’s Rank Correlation Coefficient (SRCC) method. The sensitivity of other remaining parameters was evaluated using Sobol’s index. We then have framed and studied an optimal control problem considering the different medication involved in the Multi Drug Therapy (MDT) as control variables. Log data, captured during use of mobile health (mHealth) applications by health providers, can play an important role in informing nature of user engagement with the application. The log data can also be employed in understanding health provider work patterns and performance. However, given that these logs are raw data, they require robust cleaning and curation if accurate conclusions are to be derived from analyzing them. This paper describes a systematic data cleaning process for mHealth-derived logs based on Broeck's framework, which involves iterative screening, diagnosis, and treatment of the log data. For this study, log data from the demonstrative mUzima mHealth application are used. The employed data cleaning process uncovered data inconsistencies, duplicate logs, missing data within logs that required imputation, among other issues. After the data cleaning process, only 39,229 log records out of the initial 91,432 usage logs (42.9%) could be included in the final dataset suitable for analyses of health provider work patterns. This work highlights the significance of having a systematic data cleaning approach for log data to derive useful information on health provider work patterns and performance. © 2022 The authors and IOS Press.

The effects of anthocyanin’s substitution groups on the UV-Vis molar absorptivity were examined by analyzing a group of 31 anthocyanidin/anthocyanin reference standards with ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-diode array detector (UHPLC-DAD). The hydroxylation and glycosylation on aglycones caused absorbance maxima shift and molar absorptivity change, which was dependent on the substitution position. Such molar absorptivity variation was often neglected in anthocyanin quantitation, resulting in significant analytical errors. A simple yet comprehensive strategy based on the molar relative response factors (MRRFs) and a single master reference calibration (i.e., cyanidin-3-glucoside) was proposed to compensate for the quantitative errors. MRRFs of 617 anthocyanins/anthocyanidins were calculated and the information is freely available at https://***/anthocyanin/. The strategy was applied to analyzing anthocyanins in red cabbage, blueberry, and strawberry samples. The results indicate this approach provides an effective, inexpensive, and accurate method for quantitative analysis of many anthocyanins in food materials without using individual reference standards. © 2023, The Authors.
