The purpose of this research was to develop a power consumer service support system, a case study of the Provincial Electricity Authority, Chumphon Province. By applying the ITIL version 3 operating framework to be applied in conjunction with the geographic information system, the efficiency of the application of the geographic information system was assessed, the quality of the system was assessed by experts and the satisfaction of general users was assessed. This system was developed to increase the efficiency and accuracy of electricity consumer services. receive follow-up notifications request for service and service complaints Able to display statistical reports in geographic information formats resulting in standardized customer service management. Evaluation results of the efficiency of the system in finding and displaying the coordinates of service locations have an average overall efficiency of F-Measure of 92 percent and the quality assessment of experts at a good level with an average of 4.17 deviations. The standard was 0.51 and the satisfaction assessment results of general users were at a good level with an average of 4.35 and a standard deviation of 0.42 from both groups of assessors. It can be concluded that the developed system can be applied to real work efficiently and effectively

Prognostics and health management (PHM) is an engineering discipline that aims to maintain system behaviour and function and ensure mission success, safety and effectiveness. Addressing the challenges in prognostics and health management for modern intelligent systems, especially automated driving systems, is complex due to the contextual nature of faults. This complexity necessitates a thorough understanding of spatial, and temporal conditions, and relationships within operational scenarios and life-cycle stages. This paper introduces a framework designed to automatically recognize driving scenarios in automated driving systems using graph neural networks (GNNs). The framework extracts relational data from image frames, constructing graph-based models and transforming unstructured sensory data into structured data with diverse node types and relationships. A specific graph neural network processes the graph model to reveal and detect operational conditions and relationships. The proposed framework is evaluated using the KITTI dataset, demonstrating superior performance compared to conventional feed-forward networks such as MLP, particularly in handling relational data.

Voice synthesizers still present several challenges in the speech of mathematical content, as spoken mathematics has quite peculiar rules. In the synthesized speech, pauses help blind and visually impaired students identify the limits of mathematical operators and subexpressions. However, most studies on pauses define them uniformly or use simple punctuation marks to force the synthesizer to introduce pauses in certain parts of the expression. Speech is a dynamic process and pauses in expressions also need to be dynamic to make the synthetic speech of expressions more natural, as this can help in memorizing this type of content. This work proposed a dynamic model of pauses for mathematical expressions. Collected math expressions spoken by teachers were used to create the model. These expressions were useful for identifying patterns and creating a linear regression model. Blind and visually impaired students evaluated the model. Some improvements were observed when we compared the synthesized mathematical expressions with the model and Audiomath, the parameter tool used in this study.

Text mining techniques, especially named entity recognition (NER), play a vital role in supporting researchers for keeping track of hundred thousand of papers on COVID-19 related literature. Although a few research has been performed NER on COVID-19 scientific papers, very little is currently known concerning the behaviors of current entity recognition models in this new domain. Therefore, this ongoing study attempts to analyze current NER models’ performance and limitations on the CORD-19 dataset. By examining three NER models, this study showed that NER performance is improved with the similarity between the testing and pretraining data. When there are little manually annotated resources for COVID-19 NER exist, our analysis suggested that for training purposes, enhancing the dictionary for seed annotation is effective (not necessarily requiring costly human annotation).

A previous study [Entropy 25.4 (2023): 590] proposed a quantum secure multi-party summation protocol wherein n participants could obtain the modulo-2 summation result using single photons and single-particle operations. Owing to the absence of an entanglement state, this protocol was more practical than other quantum summation protocols that used entanglement properties. Thus, this study investigated the claim that this proposed protocol prevented the participants’ secret inputs from being disclosed. It was found that the previously proposed protocol was vulnerable to a quantum Trojan horse attack owing to the circular qubit transmission mode. Using a security loophole, this study proposed an attack strategy that allowed an outside attacker to steal any participant’s secret input without being detected by a third party and participants. In addition, a simulation experiment was conducted to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed attack and evaluate the number of quantum Trojan horse probes that the attacker must inject into regular qubit sequences. Finally, a solution was proposed by modifying the protocol to securely prevent quantum Trojan horse attacks. © 2024 IOP Publishing Ltd.

Due to the issue of population aging faced by Taiwan, the government is implementing policies on encouraging the elderly to engage in social activities in their life after retirement, so as to enable them to enjoy a contented and happy retirement life and further forget their ages. In the population aging society, the elderly have an increasingly greater demand for ecotourism. Therefore, in this study, by taking ecotourism as an example, a research on the engagement of the elderly in technology enhanced interactive scenarios of ecotourism was conducted. Purpose of this study was mainly to propose the design system of technology enhanced interactive scenarios suitable for experience of the elderly. In this study, experience demands of the elderly were understood through relevant literature review, preliminary survey and field survey. Subsequently, design concepts of interactive scenarios were proposed through Scenario Approach and a prototype of interactive scenario was designed through Rapid Prototyping Method. Research results: a total of 8 concepts of interactive scenarios were proposed in this study through demand investigation, including provision of experience information, voice guide experience, enhancement of experience fun, trigger of experience scenario, enhancement of intellectual fun, basic knowledge query, enhancement of sensory experience, and sharing and memory. At last, the prototype of "i-Travel" interactive experience scenario was proposed through Prototyping Method. The interactive system consists of 8 interactive scenario concepts, experience contents and navigation design, design of scenario navigation APP, etc. Results of this study will be applied for subsequent assessment and validation of scenario experience awareness of this system. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Thin-layer chromatography (TLC) is a crucial technique in molecular polarity analysis. Despite its importance, the interpretability of predictive models for TLC, especially those driven by artificial intelligence, remains a challenge. Current approaches, utilizing either high-dimensional molecular fingerprints or domain-knowledge-driven feature engineering, often face a dilemma between expressiveness and interpretability. To bridge this gap, we introduce Unsupervised Hierarchical Symbolic Regression (UHiSR), combining hierarchical neural networks and symbolic regression. UHiSR automatically distills chemical-intuitive polarity indices, and discovers interpretable equations that link molecular structure to chromatographic behavior. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. In this research, the design of the earthworm rearing house was presented. Internet of Things, in which the research has designed houses and various equipment to be designed. The results showed that the traditional way of raising earthworms by walking to check the humidity in the cultured basin by touching and regularly watering compared to using the IOT system to measure the moisture. And there is a notification when the humidity drops below or above the specified threshold. and has an automatic watering system when the humidity is below a specified threshold It was found that the IOT-based method was more productive than the traditional method.
