Underwater wireless sensor networks(UWSNs)rely on data aggregation to streamline routing operations by merging information at intermediate nodes before transmitting it to the ***,many existing data aggregation techniques are designed exclusively for static networks and fail to reflect the dynamic nature of underwater ***,conventional multi-hop data gathering techniques often lead to energy depletion problems near the sink,commonly known as the energy hole ***,cluster-based aggregation methods face significant challenges such as cluster head(CH)failures and collisions within clusters that degrade overall network *** address these limitations,this paper introduces an innovative framework,the Cluster-based Data Aggregation using Fuzzy Decision Model(CDAFDM),tailored for mobile *** proposed method has four main phases:clustering,CH selection,data aggregation,and *** CH selection,a fuzzy decision model is utilized to ensure efficient cluster head selection based on parameters such as residual energy,distance to the sink,and data delivery likelihood,enhancing network stability and energy *** the aggregation phase,CHs transmit a single,consolidated set of non-redundant data to the base station(BS),thereby reducing data duplication and saving *** adapt to the changing network topology,the re-clustering phase periodically updates cluster formations and reselects *** results show that CDAFDM outperforms current protocols such as CAPTAIN(Collection Algorithm for underwater oPTical-AcoustIc sensor Networks),EDDG(Event-Driven Data Gathering),and DCBMEC(Data Collection Based on Mobile Edge Computing)with a packet delivery ratio increase of up to 4%,an energy consumption reduction of 18%,and a data collection latency reduction of 52%.These findings highlight the framework’s potential for reliable and energy-efficient data aggregation mobile UWSNs.

Organoid intelligence (OI), the next paradigm of intelligence, draws inspiration from the biological learning of organs. On the other hand, artificial intelligence (AI) draws its inspiration only from the cognitive processes of the brain. While taking ethical and technological limitations into account, biological learning helps to conceptualize, accept, and apply them. Just as AI helped to make supercomputers possible, OI may help create biocomputers. Even though AI has increased the capabilities of technology to unimaginable heights, it still appears immature and is steadily moving toward cognitive computing to push the envelope even farther. In contrast to AI, OI is a new multidisciplinary computer area that attempts to be more approachable. OI has the ability to produce novel biocomputers, such as organoids, that use parts derived from live organisms to perform computational tasks. Organoids, such as human nasal organoids, are microscopic tissue cultures made from stem cells that mimic some of the functions of real organs. Although they have been used for many different purposes, including drug discovery and illness modeling, scientists are only now beginning to explore their potential for biological information processing. © 2024 IEEE.

Internet of Things plays an important role in agriculture in order to provide an innovative and smart solution to traditional farming. IOT is all about connecting physical devices to the internet and can access from a remote place. So that crop monitoring becomes easy even if the farmer is in a remote place. Due to automation, human efforts are required less. Also the IoT data helps the farmer make decisions about planting, harvesting or fertilizing. This paper explains the system we have implemented for monitoring the agriculture with the help of IoT. The system is developed in order to provide real time information on crop conditions to the farmer. For that, it uses various types of sensors connected to the microcontroller in order to measure parameters like temperature, soil moisture, and water level, and accordingly, it activates actuators like a fan, motor or pump to manage ventilation and irrigation. We have used the GSM module to send the alert to the farmer and the WiFi module is used to send the agriculture data to the cloud platform. So that farmer can monitor the farm or crops remotely. The system is continuously collecting farm data from the sensors. If the crop soil is very dry them system will turn on the water pump. Also, for high temperature, the fan will get activated in order to cool down that area. This feature is mostly used in indoor farming. The farmer can monitor the farm condition in real time with the help of cloud platform. This system is helpful for improving productivity, crop management, and save resources i.e. efficient use of water which prevents water wastage. © 2024 IEEE.

The development of a dynamic model for a popular implemented solar power plant is a critical task for power engineers aiming to enhance the plant’s performance and reliability. In this study, we utilized the prediction error method (PEM), a robust algorithm for system identification, to capture the plant’s operational characteristics with precision. Additionally, we employed both recursive and hierarchical algorithms to identify the system parameters effectively. The results from each identification method are rigorously quantified and analyzed, allowing for a detailed comparison of their performance. This comprehensive evaluation not only highlights the strengths and weaknesses of each approach, but also provides valuable insights into their practical applications in the context of solar power systems. © The Author(s) 2024.

Automatic person identification (API) using human biometrics is essential and highly demanded compared to traditional API methods, where a person is automatically identified using his/her distinct characteristics including speech, fingerprint, iris, handwritten signatures, and others. The fusion of more than one human biometric produces bimodal and multimodal API systems that normally outperform single modality systems. This paper presents our work towards fusing speech and handwritten signatures for developing a bimodal API system, where fusion was conducted at the decision level due to the differences in the type and format of the features extracted. A data set is created that contains recordings of usernames and handwritten signatures of 100 persons (50 males and 50 females), where each person recorded his/her username 30 times and provided his/her handwritten signature 30 times. Consequently, a total of 3000 utterances and 3000 handwritten signatures were collected. The speech API used Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) technique for features extraction and Vector Quantization (VQ) for features training and classification. On the other hand, the handwritten signatures API used global features for reflecting the structure of the hand signature image such as image area, pure height, pure width and signature height and the Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) architecture of Artificial Neural Network for features training and classification. Once the best matches for both the speech and the handwritten signatures API are produced, the fusion process takes place at decision level. It computes the difference between the two best matches for each modality and selects the modality of the maximum difference. Based on our experimental results, the bimodal API obtained an average recognition rate of 96.40%, whereas the speech API and the handwritten signatures API obtained average recognition rates of 92.60% and 75.20%, respectively. Skin cancer's increasing incidence rates necessitate advanced diagnostic tools. This research uses MobileNet architecture to develop an enhanced system for skin cancer detection. MobileNet's efficient CNN architecture, combined with Keras for model lifecycle management and TensorFlow for real-time inference, forms the foundation of this study. Using 10,015 dermatoscopic pictures from seven different classifications of skin cancer in the HAM10000 dataset, the methodology includes several key stages: image preprocessing to correct illumination and adjust resolution, data augmentation to balance the dataset, and model training using Transfer Learning. The MobileNet model was trained over 50 epochs with a comprehensive architecture incorporating multiple specialized layers. By combining large-scale data analysis and adaptive learning, this methodology demonstrates The revolutionary possibilities of AI and ML in improving skin cancer diagnostics and public health outcomes.
