Sigma-Mixed Unscented Kalman Filter-Based Fault Detection for Traction systems in High-Speed Trains

Fault detection(FD) for traction systems is one of the active topics in the railway and academia because it is the initial step for the running reliability and safety of high-speed trains. Heterogeneity of data and complexity of systems have brought new challenges to the traditional FD methods. For addressing these challenges, this paper designs an FD algorithm based on the improved unscented Kalman filter(UKF) with consideration of performance degradation. It is derived by incorporating a degradation process into the state-space *** network topology of traction systems is taken into consideration for improving the performance of state estimation. We first obtain the mixture distribution by the mixture of sigma points in UKF. Then, the Lévy process with jump points is introduced to construct the degradation model. Finally, the moving average interstate standard deviation(MAISD) is designed for detecting *** the proposed methods via a traction systems in a certain type of trains obtains satisfactory results.

In the field of information interaction, when a project involves a large amount of heterogeneous information, it is difficult to transmit and update the required information timely, accurately, reliably and securely in such a complex environment to maintain synchronization. At present, blockchain itself has problems such as high storage pressure of nodes, low access efficiency, and simple query. Therefore, this paper takes this as a starting point and proposes a data mapping method of physical resources based on node attributes and heterogeneous nodes, which provides a general method for the data mapping from actual physical resources to information domain. This method can define the attributes of heterogeneous physical information nodes and support unified expression of various physical information resources on the same platform in the real physical world, then connect heterogeneous physical information nodes and improve the sharing ability of data resources between nodes. When accessing data, the corresponding content can be found in the off-chain database by obtaining the index information of the off-chain location stored on the chain. This method takes advantage of the large space and high access efficiency of the off-chain storage system to share the pressure of on-chain data storage. This paper expounds the design idea of the system, introduces the design objective and method in detail, gives the flow chart of the system operation, and carries out a simple software test and verification. WiFi backscatter communication has gained many applications, but its performance characteristics remain to be analyzed. While existing research has investigated the success probability of backscatter tags in contention-based WiFi backscatter networks (CWBNs), it has focused solely on the first-order statistic of the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR). In this paper, we present a meta distribution-based fine-grained analysis that provides high-order statistics of SINR and characterizes the disparity among backscatter transmission links in CWBNs. Leveraging stochastic geometry, we, for the first time, derive mathematical expressions for the b-th moments of conditional success probability and its meta distribution. The extensive Monte-Carlo simulation results validate the accuracy of our proposed theoretical model and demonstrate its outstanding value to help us understand the overall performance of CWBNs. © 2024 IEEE.

With the widespread application of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology, its security issues have also attracted much attention, among which the configuration attack against the UAV flight control system is one of the current research hotspots. Attackers always upload seemingly normal configuration combinations and cause an imbalance in the UAV state by exploiting configuration item verification vulnerabilities. This paper accumulates flight data through simulation, generates configuration combinations within the security range using differential evolution-based fuzz testing, uses neural networks to guide configuration item variants, and applies these configuration combinations to the AutoTest of UAV flight control systems. The experimental results show that the configuration combinations generated by fuzz testing can guide the UAV to course deviation, spin, crash and other unstable states;the code coverage and function coverage of the position and attitude code library base in the flight control system have also reached a high level. © ICST institute for computer sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications engineering 2024.

This Multi-agent collaborative perception is a hot topic in the current field of machine learning. Through communication and sharing of perceived scene information between agents, this approach can tackle issues such as occlusion and sparse observations present in single-agent observations. Existing studies have shown that localization errors are a significant factor affecting the accuracy of perception results. Furthermore, most prior work has focused solely on the performance of algorithms in individual tasks without considering multi-task scenarios. In this paper, a multitask collaborative perception method based on consensus perception is proposed. It integrates local perception information from each intelligent agent to form a global perception consensus, which is then used to correct the spatial feature maps of the agents, alleviating the impact of localization errors on perception results. Additionally, the use of a feature selection module based on spatial confidence maps and a multi-scale attention feature fusion module optimizes the performance of the collaborative perception process. By setting up multiple decoders in parallel, a single model is able to handle diverse tasks. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed consensus-based collaborative perception method effectively mitigates the negative impact of localization errors on perception performance, and the algorithm can achieve good perception results across multiple tasks. © 2024 IEEE.

In document-level event extraction tasks, multiple event types often coexist within a document (the multi-event problem), and arguments may play different roles across different events (the argument intertwining problem). Existing methods often suffer from significantly reduced event extraction accuracy, mainly when focusing on scenarios with scarce annotated data and imbalanced event-type distributions. This paper emphasizes enhancing the correlation between event triggers and arguments to address these challenges. Therefore, we propose the Relation-Augmented UIE Model (RADIE), which introduces entity relationships into prompts using prompt-based learning and designs a relation-augmentation algorithm to improve the accuracy and completeness of event extraction. Experimental results demonstrate that this approach significantly outperforms baseline methods, mainly showcasing excellent performance on datasets with long-tail distributions. © 2024 IEEE.

In the process of copper flotation, the traditional detection method has some defects in accurately detecting the depth of foam layer in the flotation cell, especially for the identification of foam information of highly reflective and attenuation materials in the flotation foam system. We aim to introduce a new synthetic dataset, specifically for the flotation foam system, and pay special attention to the foam information of high reflection and high attenuation materials, so as to promote it to the actual flotation foam system and improve the accuracy of liquid level detection. We combine the newly synthesized dataset with binocular ranging methods and propose a soft strategy method for depth estimation of flotation cell thickness using binocular stereo matching based on IoT technology. The experimental results show that our method has achieved remarkable results in the flotation foam system, can accurately measure the depth of the flotation cell, and provides reliable technical support for the control and optimization of the flotation process. Therefore, this binocular stereo matching depth estimation method based on IoT technology provides an effective way to solve the limitations of traditional flotation depth detection methods. It not only effectively monitors the current efficiency of the flotation cell but also automatically identifies instances of flotation cell froth overflowing, offering automated inspection and diagnostics. © 2024 IEEE.

Learning Fine-Grained Information with Capsule-Wise Attention for Salient Object Detection

With the popularity of convolutional neural networks being used for salient object detection (SOD), the performance has been significantly improved. However, how to integrate crucial features for modeling salient objects needs further exploration. In this work, we propose an effective feature selection scheme to solve this task. Firstly, we provide a Simplified Atrous Spatial Pyramid Pooling (SASPP) module to lightweight the multi-scale features. Dealing with the SASSP features, we design a pixel-level local feature selection scheme named Multi-Scale Capsule-wise Attention (MSCA). It aggregates features from multi-scales by dynamic routing and helps the network to generate fine-grained prediction maps. In addition, we exploit holistic features by the Spatial-wise Attention and Channel-wise Attention (SA/CA) mechanisms, which adaptively extracts spatial or channel information. We also propose a Multi-crossed Layer Connections (MLC) structure in the upsampling stage, to fuse features from not only different levels but also different scales. The salient object prediction is performed in a coarse-to-fine manner. By conducting comprehensive experiments on five benchmark datasets, our method achieves the best performance when compared to existing state-of-the-art approaches. IEEE
