The zero-trust concept of 'never trust, always verify' injected new vitality into the development of network security. However, the related research on zero trust is still preliminary, and the research on secure data transmission is relatively less. How to achieve secure data transmission in zero trust environment is a problem to be solved. Aiming the data transmission scenario of private data secret sharing among agents, this paper proposed a secure data transmission scheme based on multi-secret sharing to solve the problems of identity comparison confirmation of participants and adjust the access structure according to the security value of trust evaluation in existing secret sharing schemes. The proposed scheme adopts the secret sharing design without the trusted third party, which avoids the security risk of trusted third party disclosure in the traditional secret sharing scheme. Secondly, in the system parameter setting phase, the identity of participants and zero-trust identity database are compared to combine the characteristics of zero-trust 'identity authentication', to improve the security of secret sharing. Finally, during secret distribution, zero-trust trust evaluation security values are used to adjust the access structure based on zero-trust 'trust evaluation' to ensure secure data transmission. © 2023 IEEE.

The placement of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) is a significant obstacle to the widespread adoption of Electric Vehicles (EVs). However, integrating EVCS with distributed Renewable Energy (RE) sources may help mitigate the variability of RE production. This article focuses on studying a Microgrid (MG) that consists of power distribution sources such as Wind Turbines (WT) and photovoltaic (PV), as well as EVCSs and Energy Storage Structures (ESS). The analysis considers the ambiguities associated with the charging needs of electric vehicles and the production of distributed Renewable Energy Sources (RES). A comprehensive optimization model is provided for computing the best Charging Stations (CS) locations equipped with distributed electricity. This model combines the electrical network and the grid to ensure efficiency and reliability. The usage variation ratio is employed to assess the level of compatibility among the uncertain production curve of RE and the charging request curves to ascertain the suitable size of the WT and photovoltaic-producing method and energy storage system. The kernel prediction function is utilized to address the problem of excessive caution in adaptable optimizing methods. A simulation is conducted on an IEEE 33-nodal energy distributing system and a 50-nodal transit network. The findings from simulations provide evidence of the model's resilience and cost-effectiveness. © 2023 IEEE.

We have been witnessing a rapid growth in quantum computing research over the years, with the emergence of demonstrable quantum computers of moderate size. The major issues that are faced to run a quantum algorithm reliably on these systems are: (i) lower qubit coherence period, (ii) noisy primitive gate operations, (iii) limited number of available physical qubits, and (iv) support of restricted set of 2-qubit operations. Overcoming these issues mandates physical resources that exceeds the capabilities of these noisy intermediate scale quantum (NISQ) systems. On the other hand, computation using bare qubits get further disturbed due to the inclusion of additional gates to mitigate the nearest neighbor constraints. In the present work, the 2-dimensional square, heavy-hex and fully hexagonal qubit coupling lattices are considered for mapping quantum circuits. The benefits are assessed in terms of minimal additional gates needed to satisfy the nearest neighbor (NN) constraint and the compilation complexity of mapping circuits on these architectures. From the experiments by mapping benchmark circuits on 16-qubit square and 65-qubit heavy-hex architectures from IBM as well as on a 64-qubit fully hexagonal architecture, it is observed that none of the square or heavy-hex lattice architecture provides uniform compilation advantage compared to the fully hexagonal architecture. It is expected that beyond the NISQ era, strongly connected lattices like hexagonal will become practically feasible. © 2022 Gesellschaft fur Informatik (GI). All rights reserved.

The objective of this study is to develop an exams item bank management system on the internet. The exam item analysis system is used to determine the reliability of the exams using K-R 20 and K-R 21 formulas. The difficulty and power of discrimination values are determined using a choice analysis and percentages of high and lower groups technique. The create exams set system can be performed randomly or identified through the difficulty level. The examination can be performed online and the exam results can be immediately announced. The grading system is used to support the decision-making to evaluate learning achievement. The system's accuracy was tested and found to be accurate compared with the hand calculation results. The system was tested with a sample group and satisfaction was assessed through questionnaires. The satisfaction of teachers and students was highest, while that of administrators was high. The developed exams item bank management system operates as a web application with a security system for supporting in learning activity. © 2023 IEEE.

Device connectivity has been redefined by the rapid development of the Internet of Things (IoT) technology, enabling diverse applications in areas such as smart cities, smart homes, and healthcare. These applications produce massive amounts of data, making it a significant challenge to offload tasks to cloud servers. However, the physical distance between devices often leads to latency issues for IoT systems, impacting time-sensitive applications. Fog computing tackles this issue by processing data closer to IoT devices. However, a high user density can strain the capacity of a macro base station, potentially leading to congestion. Drone Base Stations (DBSs) provide a flexible solution by acting as mobile relays to reduce latency and traffic burden. To address this issue, this work proposes a drone-assisted load distribution strategy in IoT networks. In our proposed approach, we deploy DBS efficiently using a greedy optimization technique. However, after the deployment of DBS, an optimal base station assignment framework dynamically connects user equipment to the most suitable base station, helping to minimize latency and enhance network performance. This dual-phase approach provides a scalable and practical solution for realtime IoT applications. Through extensive simulations, ensures that our proposed approach achieves a more balanced assignment compared to baseline algorithms.

Accelerating the economic advantages of ICT is one of the finest methods for any nation to boost its economy. Due to the unique topography, governing laws, and cultural traditions of each nation, these colossal challenges must be confronted in each country. This comparative analysis aims to examine these aspects in further detail. To achieve the objectives of this study, research was conducted by collecting and analysing data from publicly accessible sources. This research compares Pakistan and other Asian countries’ cybersecurity legislation, regulations, CERTs (national computer emergency response teams), CIIPs (computer intrusion prevention programs), and cyber security training and awareness. Among forty-eight Asian countries, the study focus on comparative analysis of major neighboring (developed or developing) countries of Pakistan such as Japan, China, Turkey, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Nepal, Iran, Malaysia, Jordan, India, and Bangladesh. Cyber security has not been a major concern in Pakistan for a very long time, perhaps due to the way the government operates and how slowly it adapts to new technology. Many Asian countries have only ever released one version of their national cyber security plan, whilst Pakistan has never released anything; some other Asian countries are also added in this group.

Social networking sites have come into demand as a way of sharing ideas and opinions with other people. But unfortunately, people tend to misuse social media to write nasty comments. Victims' lives might be negatively impacted by behaviours that are abusive and humiliating. Social networks give people a great tool to share information on ideas on multiple topics and opinions. However, these platforms are often abused to announce toxic and offensive comments, which eventually negatively affect victims and demographics. This study offers a thorough method for identifying hate speech (HS) on social media by utilising cutting-edge ML algorithms. A publicly available Twitter dataset containing 159,571 tweets classified into six categories, including toxic and identity hatred, was utilised. The methodology comprises data collection, conditioning, and categorisation that employs BiLSTM, which is particularly appropriate for the tasks demanding contextual sensitivity. These operations include symbol removing, stemming and stop-word eliminating, feature extraction using TF-IDF, and using the Bag-of-Words model. For classification of the data between hate and non-hate, the dataset is then split into training and testing datasets and the BiLSTM model used to provide classifications for the text. The evaluation of the BiLSTM model demonstrates superior performance, achieving an accuracy86%, a precision90%, a recall86%, and an F1-score88% • A comparison between the model and other models such as SVM and CNN reveals the strength of the BiLSTM in contextual classification tasks. The results demonstrate that BiLSTM can tackle problems with hate speech detection, providing a strong answer to the problem of harmful content on social media and helping to make the internet a better place for everyone.

Streaming graph processing needs to timely evaluate continuous queries. Prior systems suffer from massive redundant computations due to the irregular order of processing vertices influenced by updates. To address this issue, we propose ACGraph, a novel streaming graph processing approach for monotonic graph algorithms. It maintains dependence trees during runtime, and makes affected vertices processed in a top-to-bottom order in the hierarchy of the dependence trees, thus normalizing the state propagation order and coalescing of multiple propagation to the same vertices. Experimental results show that ACGraph reduces the number of updates by 50% on average, and achieves the speedup of 1.75~7.43× over state-of-the-art systems.
