In recent years, there has been an increasing demand to adopt renewable energy resources to power grids for environmental issues and energy concerns. A virtual grid system, which is designed to utilize decentralized resources, is proposed as an approach. This system enables users to construct their power grids with virtual grid hubs (VG Hub) which interconnect via commercially available cables according to USB Power Delivery (USB PD). A prototype of VG Hub is capable of synthesizing and distributing DC power for connected devices, and the power flow control is managed by a microcontroller. Our previous study proposed a method called Minimum-Hop Power Path Routing (MHPPR). This method determines the power flow that uses the closest source in candidates which can fulfill the demand when a load connects to the network to minimize power loss due to transmission. However, this could result in unproductive power flow, such as a flow that consumes power stored in batteries prior to surplus power from generators. Therefore, we assumed that there are factors to value a source for a load other than demand and supply capacity, and inferred that the factor derives from the type of device. We defined this factor as the affinity between devices. The objective of this study is to solve the power path optimization problem while taking affinity into account. In this study, we discussed device classification and affinity between types and defined affinity coefficients. We then extended MHPPR by incorporating this affinity coefficient. The results have shown that the proposed method selected the sources following the priority defined by the affinity. © 2024 IEEE.

Due to the difficulties of brain tumor segmentation, this paper proposes a strategy for extracting brain tumors from three-dimensional MagneticResonance Image (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT) scans utilizing3D U-Net Design and ResNet50, taken after by conventional classificationstrategies. In this inquire, the ResNet50 picked up accuracy with 98.96%, andthe 3D U-Net scored 97.99% among the different methods of deep *** is to be mentioned that traditional Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)gives 97.90% accuracy on top of the 3D MRI. In expansion, the imagefusion approach combines the multimodal images and makes a fused image toextricate more highlights from the medical images. Other than that, we haveidentified the loss function by utilizing several dice measurements approachand received Dice Result on top of a specific test case. The average mean scoreof dice coefficient and soft dice loss for three test cases was 0.0980. At thesame time, for two test cases, the sensitivity and specification were recordedto be 0.0211 and 0.5867 using patch level predictions. On the other hand,a software integration pipeline was integrated to deploy the concentratedmodel into the webserver for accessing it from the software system using theRepresentational state transfer (REST) API. Eventually, the suggested modelswere validated through the Area Under the Curve–Receiver CharacteristicOperator (AUC–ROC) curve and Confusion Matrix and compared with theexisting research articles to understand the underlying problem. ThroughComparative Analysis, we have extracted meaningful insights regarding braintumour segmentation and figured out potential gaps. Nevertheless, the proposed model can be adjustable in daily life and the healthcare domain to identify the infected regions and cancer of the brain through various imagingmodalities.

In the wet semiconductor process, abrasive nanoparticles are widely used in the chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) process to polish wafer surfaces for high planarization. During polishing, nanoparticles move with a high-speed three-dimensional (3D) position in the solution. In the 3D particles's moving positions, Z is a perpendicular longitudinal distance between the surface to the nanoparticle that plays a significant role in polishing, which could not be measured by general microscopy without longitudinal scanning. To understand nanoparticle phenomena near-surface, we have proposed and developed the apparatus with real-time fastmotion tracking on optical multi-wavelength evanescent fields microscopy to measure the 3D motion of the nanoparticle in water without scanning. In euspen's 2020, we could verify the relative distance ?Z of nanoparticles in water, but the absolute distance Z is unknown yet. In this manuscript, we have therefore developed an invisible nano-step height in water to verify the absolute height Z of an individual nanoparticle. The invisible nano-step height in water is made from an optical resin with a refractive index of 1.35 that is close to a refractive index of water to avoid unnecessary light during experimental verification. The nano-step height was less than 100 nm on a glass surface, fabricated using nanoimprint lithography. Polystyrene f100 nm standard particles in water were used to verify the height Z. The results of height Z of nanoparticles could be measured less than 100 nm with the measurement uncertainty ±10 nm (2s), which is related to the interferometer result of the nano-step height. © European Society for Precision engineering and Nanotechnology, Conference Proceedings - 22nd International Conference and Exhibition, EUSPEN 2022. Reinforcement learning is a powerful approach for predictive analysis to identify the weather impacts for congenital heart disease. The key advantages of this method include the utilization of sensor data to predict the weather conditions on a daily basis and the ability to learn from feedback and adapt the predictions over time. In this paper, an innovation model has proposed by using reinforcement learning algorithm. It can gain important insights regarding the impact of weather on congenital heart disease. The predictive models developed using this approach have the potential to help medical professionals as well as the general public in better predicting and managing congenital heart disease. This could help reduce costs associated with care and ultimately improve health outcomes. © 2023 IEEE.

This article proposes a novel Peeling of Nano-Particle (PNP) process to locally remove material on a hard material surface using controllable magnetic fields. Fe3O4 particles in the size range of 50-100 nm in aqueous solution (pH value 11 adjusted by KOH) were magnetically controlled to adhere and remove from a 4H-SiC surface by two electromagnetic coils, which were sandwiched between the substrate. The particle controlling phenomenon on the surface was experimentally observed and verified by our developed apparatus applying an evanescent field. According to the results, particles could be controlled to approach and remove from the substrate surface with 12mT of magnetic field at the selective area on the substrate surface to realise the proposed PNP process. © European Society for Precision engineering and Nanotechnology, Conference Proceedings - 22nd International Conference and Exhibition, EUSPEN 2022. In response to the escalating demand for machine learning techniques capable of handling real-time data streams, particularly in applications like stock markets, this research dives deep into the domain of stream regression. The objective is to adeptly navigate challenges posed by evolving data over time, differentiating it from conventional static regression. Existing models, such as Fast and Incremental Model Trees with Drift Detection (FIMT-DD), k-Nearest Neighbours (KNN), and Adaptive Linear Regression (ALR) and some other studies, though competent, exhibit certain limitations like learning based on certain portions of data, using a significantly large memory and not capable of handling each data in every timestamp it arrives. We propose the Dynamically Adjustable Linear Regression Model (DALR) to address these shortcomings. DALR introduces an adaptive regression model that dynamically evolves based on historical knowledge and newly acquired data, providing an innovative solution to the intricacies of dynamic data streams. This endeavor has also highlighted that the DALR algorithm consistently demonstrates strong performance across various datasets according to the RMSE metric, surpassing other state-of -the-art algorithms in most instances.

IoT gadgets include smart lights, ovens, and industrial data-collecting equipment. IDC expects 41.6 billion connected IoT devices to generate 79.4 ZB of data by 2025. Early IoT devices sent data to the cloud for analysis. When sending trillions of gigabytes to the cloud, the data pipeline clogs. Edge computing enables IoT devices to handle data locally instead of sending it to the cloud. Data is processed at the 'edge' of your local network, rather than transferred away. technology's versatility makes it valuable in education. IoT edge computing has different requirements than non-IoT edge computing. IoT devices have limited data processing and storage capabilities, thus processing must occur off the device. The edge offers an environment to manage huge numbers of IoT devices and data. Many functions can be off-loaded to the edge, reducing device cost. In education, IoT edge computing architecture has gained importance due to real-time applications. In order to facilitate the analysis of educational system architecture, this paper seeks to provide an IoT Edge computing framework in the field of education. The framework will identify IoT-related issues and concerns. This study discusses IoT Edge computing in education, identifies limits, and makes recommendations. As well as the paper evaluates IoT Edge computing's performance in educational systems. © 2023 IEEE.

In this article, the power control and interference pricing problems between the macro base station (MBS) and small cell base stations (SBSs) in Heterogeneous networks (HetNets) are investigated. To optimally allocate power resources and effectively manage the power resources to reduce interference in HetNets, an innovative Stackelberg differential game approach is proposed. In the proposed Stackelberg game, the SBSs control their transmit power to achieve cost minimization based on the interference price offered by the MBS. Given the optimal power control strategies of SBSs, the MBS can adjust the interference price to realize the objective optimization. Renewable energy sources are introduced into the proposed HetNets, and differential equations formulate the SBSs' dynamic energy. Meanwhile, the MBS's state is given by the dynamic spectrum resources. Then the differential game is imported to achieve optimal power control and interference pricing. The open-loop Nash equilibrium solutions are first analyzed for the MBS and SBSs. Then the feedback Nash equilibrium solutions are given. Under the feedback pattern, the proposed model's performances in the non-cooperative and cooperative situations are discussed. Numerical simulations are given to show the convergence and effectiveness of the proposed game approach. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

This paper proposes a novel Be-in and Be-Out (BIBO) automated ticketing system based on blockchain mobile sensors for public transport modes (e.g., metro, tram, train, and bus). The existing Bluetooth and GPS-integrated BIBO suffering from fraud may involve users deliberately turning off their Bluetooth connection during a trip to deceive the system into charging a reduced fare. Even if Bluetooth is turned off or there is a loss of mobile ticketing connection, the system can still gather sufficient location data to compute fares. However, this becomes impossible if a user's phone is powered off. This paper tackled these issues and suggested a blockchain-enabled BIBO mobile sensors-enabled automated system based on socket programming for public transport. We aim to generate BIBO automated ticketing based on mobile sensors without Bluetooth and GPS while boarding public transport. This paper presents the blockchain mobile ticketing system (BMTS-BIBO) algorithm, which consists of different steps to solve the problem. We trained the ticketing model based on a deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) and integrated it with socket programming based on the application. Simulation results show that the BMTS-BIBO algorithm outperformed and obtained 98% BIBO ticketing without GPS and Bluetooth.
