Intelligent traffic control requires accurate estimation of the road states and incorporation of adaptive or dynamically adjusted intelligent algorithms for making the *** this article,these issues are handled by proposing a novel framework for traffic control using vehicular communications and Internet of Things *** framework integrates Kalman filtering and *** smoothing Kalman filtering,our data fusion Kalman filter incorporates a process-aware model which makes it superior in terms of the prediction *** traditional Q-learning,our Q-learning algorithm enables adaptive state quantization by changing the threshold of separating low traffic from high traffic on the road according to the maximum number of vehicles in the junction *** evaluation,the model has been simulated on a single intersection consisting of four roads:east,west,north,and south.A comparison of the developed adaptive quantized Q-learning(AQQL)framework with state-of-the-art and greedy approaches shows the superiority of AQQL with an improvement percentage in terms of the released number of vehicles of AQQL is 5%over the greedy approach and 340%over the state-of-the-art ***,AQQL provides an effective traffic control that can be applied in today’s intelligent traffic system.

This paper presents machine learning-based strategies for mitigating the problem of misinformation in social media, with a special focus on political misinformation detection and clickbait detection. The following research work attempts to address the pressing issue of the rapid spread of false or misleading information by making use of deep recurrent neural networks (RNN s) combined with semi-supervised learning methodologies. For political misinformation detection, a hybrid model integrating Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks with fully connected layers was developed, achieving 94.22 % accuracy on the CIC Truth Seeker dataset. Clickbait detection was made using a sequential architecture that combines LSTM and Gated Recurrent Units (GRU) layers with Simple RNN layers to achieve an accuracy of 96% on test data. This study underlines the effectiveness of different machine learning techniques in battling misinformation that would contribute to online dignity in political discourse and ensure better public communication in a digital world. © 2024 IEEE.

The sixth-generation(6G) wireless network will support ubiquitous connectivity and diversified scenarios to satisfy the requirements of various emerging applications. Full spectrum is a key enabler for6G to achieve the ambitious goal of a Tbps-scale data rate. In this paper, we first review the scenario and potential spectrum plan for 6G and then focus on SpectrumChain, a blockchain-based dynamic spectrumsharing(DSS) framework for 6G. The unique characteristics of blockchain for DSS are presented along with key technologies. Finally, the conclusion and future development trends are discussed.

Colorectal intraepithelial neoplasia is a precancerous lesion of colorectal cancer, which is mainly diagnosed using pathological images. According to the characteristics of lesions, precancerous lesions can be classified into four different grades, i.e., background, normal, low and high level. However, due to the continuity of lesion development, tissue in different stages has high similarity. Recently, visual transformers have achieved impressive results in different visual tasks, due to their capacity of capturing long-range dependencies. However, due to computational cost, transformer cannot well extract detailed feature, which is important for lesion grading. To accurately segment pathological tissues with high similarity, in this work, we embed the multi-head MLP mixer module in the transformer network to extract cell and edge information. Furthermore, we propose a hierarchical MLP decoder to facilitate multi-scale feature fusion. The proposed transformer, namely MLPFormer, achieves remarkable results against competitive baselines on the Histo-CRC Biopsy dataset. The experimental results demonstrate that MLPFormer significantly outperforms the competitive baselines, i.e., a 3% dice improvement is achieved over the SegFormer series. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2024.

These days, spectrum insufficiency is the most common issue. If the number of smartphone users who access the radio spectrum grows, the radio spectrum becomes increasingly scarce. Certain types of technology equipment are designed to work only within a specific spectrum range, and there is rivalry in specifications for various other applications. As a result, this paper effectively exploits a licensed user’s unused spectrum to reduce the crowded spectrum and eradicate the Radio spectrum shortage. Licensed primary users (PUs) and secondary users (SUs) would be accepted into a Fusion Centre (FC) based on a spectrum framework with authentication. The approved PUs begin by updating their information to FC1;thenceforth, encryption is performed on the information uploaded to FC1. This information from FC1 is stored in Cloud Storage after encryption using the Blowfish algorithm & De-oxy DNA, a fast encryption algorithm. Following that, FC2, connected to the same cloud environment, downloads the PU data uploaded. The spectrum is then allocated to the authenticated SU linked to FC2 based on signal conditions and priority. This proposed method also avoids any delay in the network and encryption by acquiring a fast encryption algorithm, making the system faster and avoiding the Primary User Emulation (PUE) attack. Later, the time taken for the Tiny Encryption Algorithm (TEA) and the Blowfish/DNA algorithm are compared to validate the run time for different input images. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

The automobile service industry's explosive growth highlights the need for creative approaches to boost operational effectiveness and user experience. This study introduces a Hybrid Garage Assistance system, integrating Classical Machine Learning (ML) techniques with Generative AI to optimize garage service discovery and analysis. The system employs sophisticated data processing methods, including Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) vectorization and regex-based service detection, to extract actionable insights from unstructured garage *** to the system are machine learning models Random Forest (RF) and XGBoost (XGB) which achieve high precision and recall in classifying garage services. A hybrid search mechanism, combining cosine similarity with ML-driven predictions, ensures the delivery of highly personalized search results. To further refine decision-making, the system incorporates Generative AI models such as Perplexity for web-based research, Gemini for location-specific analysis, Mistral for email sending and GPT-4 for detailed service recommendations and dall-e for creating user specific parts images. These advanced tools provide users with comprehensive information that enables them to make well-informed decisions about garage *** evaluation of the system is conducted using robust metrics, including precision, recall, F1-score, and system latency. Experimental results reveal a precision of 85%, recall of 70.8%, and an F1-score of 77.2%, demonstrating the efficacy of integrating classical ML with generative AI. The increasing integration of Cyber-Physical systems (CPS) in critical infrastructure presents unique challenges for ensuring robust cybersecurity. Traditional Intrusion Detection systems (IDS) often struggle with the dynamic, complex nature of CPS environments, making adaptive solutions essential. This paper presents an Adaptive Intrusion Detection system (AIDS) that leverages Reinforcement Learning-Based Autoencoders (RL-AE) to detect and respond to cyber intrusions in CPS environments. The proposed model combines the power of autoencoders for unsupervised anomaly detection with reinforcement learning to continuously adapt and improve detection accuracy. Experimental results on benchmark CPS datasets demonstrate that the RL-AE-based IDS achieves a detection accuracy of 98.3%, a precision rate of 96.8%, and a recall rate of 97.5%, effectively minimizing false positives to 2.4%. The system also demonstrated rapid adaptability, with a convergence time of less than 50 iterations in response to new attack patterns. These results highlight the model's ability to enhance system resilience and promote secure and efficient CPS operations in industrial and critical infrastructure applications. This approach provides a scalable and flexible IDS solution, promoting secure and resilient CPS operations in real-time, high-stakes environments. © 2024 IEEE.
