Multi-objective discrete strength pareto evolutionary algorithm II for multiple-product partial U-shaped disassembly line balancing problem

In disassembly industry, the disassembly efficiency closely depends on a reasonable disassembly mode and an efficient disassembly line. In the current manufacturing, the profit of multi-product partial U-shaped disassembly-line-balancing (MPUD) is relatively low and the energy consumption is high. According to the characteristics of the MPUD problem, a mathematical model for maximizing profit and minimizing energy consumption of human-robot disassembly is established. To solve the MPUD problem, a multi-objective strength Pareto evolutionary algorithm II is developed and crossover and mutation operators are improved to promote the convergence and feasibility of the algorithm. We perform the experiments on a ballpoint pen and a washing machine to simulate the disassembly process and compare the proposed algorithm with the nondominated sorting genetic algorithm II and the multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has obvious advantages in the most important metrics.

A novel non-geometrical stochastic model(NGSM)for non-wide sense station ary uncorrelated scattering(non-WSSUS)vehicle-to-vehicle(V2V)channels is *** model is based on a conventional NGSM and employs a more accurate method to reproduce the realistic characteristics of V2V channels,which successfully extends the existing NGSM to include the line-of-sight(LoS)***,the statistical properties of the proposed model in different scenarios,including Doppler power spectral density(PSD),power delay profile(PDP),and the tap correlation coefficient matrix are simulated and compared with those of the existing ***,the simulation results dem onstrate not only the utility of the proposed model,but also the correctness of our theoreti cal derivations.

This study aims to hide data or information on pixel image using EOF method and to improve the security of hidden data than combine with cryptography algorithm Modular Multiplication Block Cipher algorithm for the encryption process. The image file used as the test sample consists of 3 types of image types (JPG, BMP, PNG), this file type is the most widely used by users with different width and height as well as various file sizes. The results of this study prove that the data could embed in pixel image using EOF method and the file size of carrier will increase its capacity as byte of embedded text. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Point cloud learning has lately attracted increasing attention due to its wide applications in many areas, such as computer vision, autonomous driving, and robotics. As a dominating technique in AI, deep learning has been successfully used to solve various 2D vision problems. However, deep learning on point clouds is still in its infancy due to the unique challenges faced by the processing of point clouds with deep neural networks. Recently, deep learning on point clouds has become even thriving, with numerous methods being proposed to address different problems in this area. To stimulate future research, this paper presents a comprehensive review of recent progress in deep learning methods for point clouds. It covers three major tasks, including 3D shape classification, 3D object detection and tracking, and 3D point cloud segmentation. It also presents comparative results on several publicly available datasets, together with insightful observations and inspiring future research directions. Copyright © 2019, The Authors. Information systems are deployed in clouds as virtual machines (VMs) for better agility, elasticity and reliability. It is necessary to safekeep their cryptographic keys, e.g., the private keys used in TLS and SSH, against various attacks. However, existing virtualization solutions do not improve the cryptography facilities of in-cloud systems. This paper presents SECRIN, a secure cryptography infrastructure for VMs in the cloud. SECRIN is composed of a) virtual cryptographic devices implemented in VM monitors (VMMs), and b) a device management tool integrated in the virtualization management system. A virtual device receives requests from VMs, computes with cryptographic keys within the VMM and returns results. The keys appear only in the VMM's memory space, so that they are kept secret even if the VMs were compromised. With the management tool, the operator of virtualization management systems assigns virtual cryptographic devices to a VM as well as other resources, while the tenant (or owner) of a VM still holds proper controls on the keys. The virtual devices work compatibly with live migration, and the cryptographic computations are not interrupted when the VMs are moving from a host to another. We develop the SECRIN prototype with KVM-QEMU and oVirt. Experimental results show that, it works compatibly with existing virtualization solutions, provides reliable cryptographic computing services for applications, and is secure against attacks happening in VMs.

This paper proposes an algorithm implemented in a web application to find feasible route for planning in truck transportation. The logistic route planning problem has attracted a lot of effort, however, most of the earlier researches are not be directly applicable to this problem because practical logistic constraints such as the width of the road or height of the tunnel are not considered. Furthermore, drivers' basic needs in taking the time off for relaxation and lunch are involved into the delivery time computation as well. The web application has an ample amount of trials which were compared to a database of transportation in real-time. The results from a case study of Thai Adhesive and Sealant Company show a significant improvement, approximately about thirty-five percent, in forecast preciseness while the mistake rate is dropped. Moreover, this application can be applied to other industries that require feasible trucking logistics planning.

This study presents design approach for realizing miniaturized Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) Band Pass Filter (BPF) using Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic (LTCC) technology at TMRND's LTCC Lab. Design method for the SIW BPF is based on the circular cavity structure with four pole Chebyshev and operating at center frequency of 38 GHz. This SIW BPF is an important part of the Remote Antenna Unit (RAU) transceiver for the Radio over Fiber (RoF) system. Two types of circular SIW BPF have been designed and investigated in term of performance and structure size which are planar SIW BPF and compact SIW BPF. Both SIW BPF were developed using LTCC Ferro A6M materials with dielectric constant of 5.8, loss tangent of 0.002 and metallization of gold. The insertion loss for planar SIW BPF and compact SIW BPF were measured at 6.2 dB and 6.3 dB, respectively. The passband return losses for both types of the SIW BPF were measured at more than 10 dB. The size of the compact SIW BPF is 6.94×6.94 mm^2 meanwhile size for planar SIW BPF is 12.15×4.145 mm^2. The size of the compact SIW BPF is reduced to nearly 10% compared to a planar SIW BPF structure.

Energy-efficient cooperative secure transmission in multi-UAV enabled wireless networks

This paper investigates a multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) enabled cooperative secure transmission scheme in the presence of multiple potential eavesdroppers. Specifically, multiple source UAVs (SUAVs) send confidential information to multiple legitimate ground users and in the meantime multiple jamming UAVs (JUAVs) cooperatively transmit interference signals to multiple eavesdroppers in order to improve the legitimate users' achievable secrecy rate. By taking into account the limited energy budget of UAV, our goal is to maximize the system secrecy energy efficiency (SEE), namely the achievable secrecy rate per energy consumption unit, by jointly optimizing the UAV trajectory, transmit power and user scheduling under the constraints of UAV mobility as well as the maximum transmit power. The resulting optimization problem is shown to be a non-convex and mixed-integer fractional optimization problem, which is challenging to solve. We decompose the original problem into three sub-problems, and then an efficient iterative algorithm is proposed by leveraging the block coordinate descent and Dinkelbach method in combination with successive convex approximation techniques. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the other benchmarks significantly in terms of the system SEE. Copyright © 2019, The Authors. All rights reserved.
