Pneumonia is one of the lung infections that can be lethal to people. Pneumonia can be diagnosed by conducting an X-ray scan of the human chest. Even though X-ray scanning is straightforward, the process of identifying pneumonia in X-ray data is still difficult to do even by radiologists. Therefore, a computational algorithm is needed that can be used to analyze X-ray image data. The use of Deep Learning (DL) methods for analyzing images has been proven to work well in various cases, especially X-ray data. Based on previous research, the transformer architecture has the advantage of analyzing with a larger receptive area if compared to Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) which have limited kernel size. In this study, we used the Swin transformer in classifying pneumonia diseases through X-ray images. Through the study conducted, the Swin Transformer Architecture is able to provide a fairly good evaluation metric when compared to the use of convolutional neural networks. The Tiny variant of the Swin Transformer architecture is able to provide evaluation metrics with a precision value of 0.870, recall of 0.995, and F1-Score of 0.928. On the other hand, the use of L2 regularization in stage 3 and stage 4 of the Swin Tiny architecture is able to provide a high recall value of 0.997, but the use of L2 regularization does not provide an increase in precision and F1-Score. In biomedical cases that are only concerned with recall values, the use of L2 regularization on Swin Tiny can provide advantages. © 2023 ACM.

This article proposes a novel Peeling of Nano-Particle (PNP) process to locally remove material on a hard material surface using controllable magnetic fields. Fe3O4 particles in the size range of 50-100 nm in aqueous solution (pH value 11 adjusted by KOH) were magnetically controlled to adhere and remove from a 4H-SiC surface by two electromagnetic coils, which were sandwiched between the substrate. The particle controlling phenomenon on the surface was experimentally observed and verified by our developed apparatus applying an evanescent field. According to the results, particles could be controlled to approach and remove from the substrate surface with 12mT of magnetic field at the selective area on the substrate surface to realise the proposed PNP process. © European Society for Precision Engineering and Nanotechnology, Conference Proceedings - 22nd International Conference and Exhibition, EUSPEN 2022. Recently,renewable energy(RE)has become popular due to its benefits,such as being inexpensive,low-carbon,ecologically friendly,steady,and *** RE sources are gradually combined with non-renewable energy(NRE)sources into electric grids to satisfy energy *** energy utilization is highly related to national energy policy,energy prediction using artificial intelligence(AI)and deep learning(DL)based models can be employed for energy prediction on RE and NRE power *** energy consumption of RE and NRE sources using effective models becomes *** this motivation,this study presents a new multimodal fusionbased predictive tool for energy consumption prediction(MDLFM-ECP)of RE and NRE power *** data may influence the prediction performance of the results in prediction *** proposed MDLFMECP technique involves pre-processing,fusion-based prediction,and hyperparameter *** addition,the MDLFM-ECP technique involves the fusion of four deep learning(DL)models,namely long short-termmemory(LSTM),bidirectional LSTM(Bi-LSTM),deep belief network(DBN),and gated recurrent unit(GRU).Moreover,the chaotic cat swarm optimization(CCSO)algorithm is applied to tune the hyperparameters of the DL *** design of the CCSO algorithm for optimal hyperparameter tuning of the DL models,showing the novelty of the work.A series of simulations took place to validate the superior performance of the proposed method,and the simulation outcome emphasized the improved results of the MDLFM-ECP technique over the recent approaches with minimum overall mean absolute percentage error of 3.58%.

As the largest class of small non-coding RNAs, piRNAs primarily present in the reproductive cells of mammals, which influence post-transcriptional processes of mRNAs in multiple ways. Effective methods for predicting piRNA and mRNA target relationships can help identify piRNA functions, investigate the possibility of piRNAs as biomarkers and therapeutic targets. In this study, we propose a computational approach for classifying the relationships of piRNA-mRNA pairs based on an interactive inference network (IIN). First, we gather piRNA-mRNA target data, collect sequence data by position alignment, and construct a benchmark dataset. Furthermore, a reliable negative set is constructed by positive-unlabeled learning. Finally, we view a piRNA and a mRNA sequence as a premise and hypothesis sentence, respectively, and IIN model is used to predict the relationship between them. The experiments demonstrate that our method effectively characterizes piRNA-mRNA interaction and could be beneficial for researchers to investigate piRNA functions. © 2023 IEEE.

In the wet semiconductor process, abrasive nanoparticles are widely used in the chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) process to polish wafer surfaces for high planarization. During polishing, nanoparticles move with a high-speed three-dimensional (3D) position in the solution. In the 3D particles's moving positions, Z is a perpendicular longitudinal distance between the surface to the nanoparticle that plays a significant role in polishing, which could not be measured by general microscopy without longitudinal scanning. To understand nanoparticle phenomena near-surface, we have proposed and developed the apparatus with real-time fastmotion tracking on optical multi-wavelength evanescent fields microscopy to measure the 3D motion of the nanoparticle in water without scanning. In euspen's 2020, we could verify the relative distance ?Z of nanoparticles in water, but the absolute distance Z is unknown yet. In this manuscript, we have therefore developed an invisible nano-step height in water to verify the absolute height Z of an individual nanoparticle. The invisible nano-step height in water is made from an optical resin with a refractive index of 1.35 that is close to a refractive index of water to avoid unnecessary light during experimental verification. The nano-step height was less than 100 nm on a glass surface, fabricated using nanoimprint lithography. Polystyrene f100 nm standard particles in water were used to verify the height Z. The results of height Z of nanoparticles could be measured less than 100 nm with the measurement uncertainty ±10 nm (2s), which is related to the interferometer result of the nano-step height. © European Society for Precision Engineering and Nanotechnology, Conference Proceedings - 22nd International Conference and Exhibition, EUSPEN 2022. Research on fake news has gained significant traction in a number of fields, We describe how the issue is tackled from a natural language processing standpoint in this research with the aim of developing identify false material in news. Collecting high-quality data, such as examples of false and actual news stories on a diverse range of subjects, is the key obstacle in this field of study. We examine the available before introducing the site as our lab's gift to the . We provide the whole text of the news that have already been applied based on human evaluation of the articles' authenticity. In order to clarify the gaps and causes of imbalance in the datasets that are now accessible and to direct ongoing attempts, we also conduct an appearance-based experiment. We urge the public to gather more information and make it accessible for study. ©2024 IEEE.

This study aims to determine whether the implementation of information technology on library management systems brings a positive effect on the student during the learning process. information technology is a general term for any tech-nology that assists humans in creating, modifying, storing, communicating, and/or disseminating information. In the digital era, the use of information technology is very important. The existence of information technology in libraries can certainly increase the interest of people to keep reading books in the library because of the ease due to the implementation of information technology. The main objective of this paper is to see the impact of the use of information technology in the library management system of Bina Nusantara Alam Sutera University which has quite many students such as Binusian card as an access to the library gate and for borrowing books. Library management systems help libraries keep track of the books and their checkouts. A well-chosen system will increase the library’s efficiency, save valuable administration time, lead to a better educational experience for students, and help develop independent learning. The results of the investigation state that several major impacts occur in the library management system due to the use or implementation of information technology. Evolutionary algorithms are effective methods for solving optimization problems that do not require any special assumptions to find optimal solutions. Earlier generations of mobile technology experienced exponential growth in mobile customers, disruptive ecosystems like Internet of Things applications, and massive channel capacity needed to connect trillions of devices. 5G networks are a vital solution. 5G aims to provide 10 Gbps to a single user, as well as quality of service, increased spectrum efficiency, ultra-reliable communication, extended device battery life, massive machine-type communication (mMTC), and a 1000-fold capacity gain. Due to the heavy traffic volume and high resource consumption of 5G applications like augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and wireless body area networks, there are major barriers to channel capacity and potential service disruptions for other users. New strategies are needed to increase spectral efficiency and channel capacity. This paper explores many major new wireless technologies that aim to increase spectral efficiency and channel capacity to meet growing user demands and improve network performance. This paper also examines these technologies' benefits and research challenges. Massive Multi-Input Multi-Output (mMIMO) technology's effectiveness and potential distinguish it for 5G and Beyond 5G (B5G) networks, offering a variety of benefits and characteristics. This article can also assist researchers who are conducting in-depth studies, as well as wireless network operators who aim to streamline the development of 5G and B5G networks. © 2024 IEEE.

Model-based testing is a substantial approach that is based on and involving models. It is well known for achieving test coverage and for generating and executing test cases automatically. The main and core activity of model-based testing is the modelling activity. Models are used to explain and represent the behaviour of the product. The requirement will be translated into models and those models will be used in generating the test cases automatically in model-based testing. The modelling activity clarifies test requirement and contribute to automatic generation and execution of large test suites with tool support. Model-based testing provides numerous advantages in testing;mainly on achieving appropriate test coverage and reduce manual effort and time spent since it can execute the test cases automatically. Despite all the benefit it can provide, there are some drawbacks too. However, the challenges faced can overcome by implementing proper test modelling activity and by adopting a well-versed test management activity. Thus, in this paper, we have studied the existing testing process, the taxonomy of model-based testing and model-based testing steps and proposed an extensive lifecycle for model-based testing with detail activities and steps to be carried out in order to test and validate access control requirement for multi-tenant application. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
