A wide range of disparate variety of heterogeneous and even disparate data sources has been integrated into the computer science research principles through the assistance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) delivering excellent results in accuracy and data quality. Even so, taking machine learning approaches to very broad and dynamic datasets is both logistically and computationally costly. Some people are generating so much data regularly, which means that advanced analytics platforms have greater importance than ever before. Spark Machine Learning has extensive capabilities for a variety of ML activities such as regression, grouping, dimension reduction, and extraction of rules. While it has numerous datasets of high quality and consistency of structure. The specification of the MapReduce programming model was intended for the massive density of large-volume computation. It accomplishes this by splitting the job into several well-defined sub-sized units. There are various sets of data mining frameworks that link to a distributed device. Hadoop serves as the infrastructure for the distributed system. Several resources claim that Mahout will scale to handle massive datasets. This article discusses and demonstrates the use of algorithms and their significant impact on Bigdata, as well as a comparison between their implementations among Apache Spark and Apache Mahout. © 2022 IEEE.

The method of extracting information from a text is called text mining. In contrast, sentiment analysis involves examining text data to determine whether a statement expresses good or negative conversations. In this study, a system was developed that categorizes tweets about West Bandung Regency tourism spots that contain both favorable and negative remarks. The Cross Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) technique is used to carry out the classification process utilizing the Naive Bayes algorithm. You will learn how locals feel about West Bandung Regency’s tourist attractions through this method. Six scenarios were developed using the categorization findings from 250 pieces of data that included both positive and negative sentiment. The scenario has got the greatest f1-score of 82.8%. These findings demonstrate how effectively the Naive Bayes algorithm performs sentiment analysis.

The data warehouse is based on the development of relational databases, parallel processing and distributed processing technologies, as well as online analytical processing technologies. SAP BW is widely used in many enterprise data warehouses. It can issue reports of enterprises at the group level, manage the group's business operations, help find the laws and trends behind the performance of corporations and ultimately provide decision-making support for decision makers of enterprises. Therefore, how to use the SAP BW model architecture to better realize enterprise data warehouses is one of the hot topics in the data warehouse industry today. For a large corporation, its branches and subsidiaries have deployed multiple sets of enterprise data warehouses. At the same time, because there are multiple sets of data warehouse systems, when the data model needs to be modified at the group level, the data model of the branch also needs to be modified accordingly, and the flexibility of maintenance is poor. Finally, every time the corporation needs to upgrade the version of the data warehouse, it needs to maintain and upgrade the version of the data warehouse of each branch and the maintenance cost is high. Therefore, how to integrate multiple sets of data warehouses distributed in various subsidiaries into a corporation enterprise data warehouse by designing the model hierarchy, so as to ensure the reliability of data, enhance the flexibility of model modification and reduce the cost of data warehouse. This paper completes the design of an enterprise data warehouse of a large corporation, which can be used for the summary and collation of data from multiple branches such as finance and sales of a corporation, effectively improving the efficiency of data utilization and ensuring the authenticity of data. At the same time, through hierarchical design, the problems of poor flexibility in model modification and high system maintenance costs are solved.

Student cognitive modeling (SCM) is a fundamental task in intelligent education, with applications ranging from personalized learning to educational resource allocation. By exploiting students' response logs, SCM aims to predict their exercise performance as well as estimate knowledge proficiency in a subject. Data mining approaches such as matrix factorization can obtain high accuracy in predicting student performance on exercises, but the knowledge proficiency is unknown or poorly estimated. The situation is further exacerbated if only sparse interactions exist between exercises and students (or knowledge concepts). To solve this dilemma, we root monotonicity (a fundamental psychometric theory on educational assessments) in a co-factorization framework and present an autoencoder-like nonnegative matrix co-factorization (AE-NMCF), which improves the accuracy of estimating the student's knowledge proficiency via an encoder-decoder learning pipeline. The resulting estimation problem is nonconvex with nonnegative constraints. We introduce a projected gradient method based on block coordinate descent with Lipschitz constants and guarantee the method's theoretical convergence. Experiments on several real-world data sets demonstrate the efficacy of our approach in terms of both performance prediction accuracy and knowledge estimation ability, when compared with existing student cognitive models. © 2024 Neural information processing systems foundation. The rapid growth of mobile applications, combined with an increasing reliance on these apps for a variety of purposes, has prompted serious concerns about user privacy and data security. This study aims to assess the privacy practices, data handling methods, and security vulnerabilities of mobile apps in a variety of categories, including social media, e-commerce, health and fitness, and financial management. This study identifies major privacy and security issues by examining privacy policies and terms of service, as well as how these apps handle sensitive data. The study also examines free and premium apps' privacy procedures, taking into account the implications for user data protection. The findings illustrate differences in data handling and security standards across different app categories, highlighting the importance of transparent privacy policies, strong security mechanisms, and limited data sharing to protect user information. The research helps to define standards and best practices for promoting secure app activity, increasing user confidence, and guaranteeing a safer digital environment.

One of the most important and most pioneering topics in the field of networks is congestion and how to control it or avoid its occurrence because this topic has a huge impact on the network and the quality of service (QoS). Congestion reduces the efficiency of the network and stops the service in many cases. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop techniques and mechanisms to avoid congestion or reduce its impact to the extent possible to maintain the permanence of data flow in the network. Congestion is avoided at two levels, node and link, by using different techniques, including closed loop or open loop. This paper reviews an explanation of congestion, how it occurs, and its impact on the network, and then shows the mechanisms through which congestion eliminated can be bed or avoided before it occurs. It also reviews a set of algorithms previously used by researchers in various types of networks and compares the performance between them.

This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of Natural Language Processing (NLP) within Human-computer Interaction (HCI) to identify trends, challenges, and future directions. Analyzing 1,710 SCOPUS-indexed documents (1983-2024) using a PRISMA flowchart, the results show that the United States and China are leading contributors. Key developments include emotion recognition, chatbot interfaces, and speech processing, highlighting NLP’s role in user-centered technologies. Despite growing applications, challenges such as reliability and ethical concerns persist. This analysis emphasizes the need for ethical frameworks and technological advancements to address deployment issues and align NLP innovations with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By mapping global research trends, this study provides insights into the transformative potential of NLP in HCI for developing inclusive and responsive systems.

Each person’s learning process is distinct and diversified. Therefore, using the right teaching techniques is crucial to improving student performance and academic achievement. Numerous educational institutions, including schools and universities, make an effort to anticipate their students’ academic performance in order to improve the effectiveness of the educational systems. In educational technology and the recent learning systems, discovering useful hidden patterns in learner data is significantly valuable. In this paper, several machine learning classifiers were applied such as Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), Recurrent Neural Network (RNN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Naive Bayes (NB), to predict the student’s performance. Furthermore, a hybrid model was used to reduce data dimensionality and improve the overall performance of the classifiers used. A real dataset obtained from the UCI machine learning repository is used to evaluate the proposed hybrid model. The reported results show the performance of CNN-RNN outperforms other methods with an accuracy equal to 89.1%.

Digital media triage is a main challenge that faces a digital investigator. Knowing what might be useful during crime investigation could greatly save the investigator’s time and enhance outcomes. Memory investigation can get potential benefit from the triage process because of its scattered and diverse contents. The Operating system’s paging scheme might map the contents of a file into non-consecutive page frames in the physical memory, making the file-type classification and identification process harder. This paper tackles the memory content triage problem at the page level using a machine-learning methodology.

This paper constructs a non-cooperative/cooperative stochasticdifferential game model to prove that the optimal strategies trajectory ofagents in a system with a topological configuration of a Multi-Local-Worldgraph would converge into a certain attractor if the system’s configuration isfixed. Due to the economics and management property, almost all systems aredivided into several independent Local-Worlds, and the interaction betweenagents in the system is more complex. The interaction between agents inthe same Local-World is defined as a stochastic differential cooperativegame;conversely, the interaction between agents in different Local-Worldsis defined as a stochastic differential non-cooperative game. We construct anon-cooperative/cooperative stochastic differential game model to describethe interaction between agents. The solutions of the cooperative and noncooperativegames are obtained by invoking corresponding theories, and thena nonlinear operator is constructed to couple these two solutions *** last, the optimal strategies trajectory of agents in the system is proven toconverge into a certain attractor, which means that strategies trajectory arecertainty as time tends to infinity or a large positive integer. It is concluded thatthe optimal strategy trajectory with a nonlinear operator of cooperative/noncooperativestochastic differential game between agents can make agentsin a certain Local-World coordinate and make the Local-World paymentmaximize, and can make the all Local-Worlds equilibrated;furthermore, theoptimal strategy of the coupled game can converge into a particular attractorthat decides the optimal property.
