Artificial Intelligence(AI)and computer Vision(CV)advancements have led to many useful methodologies in recent years,particularly to help visually-challenged *** detection includes a variety of challenges,for example,handlingmultiple class images,images that get augmented when captured by a camera and so *** test images include all these variants as *** detection models alert them about their surroundings when they want to walk *** study compares four CNN-based pre-trainedmodels:ResidualNetwork(ResNet-50),Inception v3,DenseConvolutional Network(DenseNet-121),and SqueezeNet,predominantly used in image recognition *** on the analysis performed on these test images,the study infers that Inception V3 outperformed other pre-trained models in terms of accuracy and *** further improve the performance of the Inception v3 model,the thermal exchange optimization(TEO)algorithm is applied to tune the hyperparameters(number of epochs,batch size,and learning rate)showing the novelty of the *** accuracy was achieved owing to the inclusion of an auxiliary classifier as a regularizer,hyperparameter optimizer,and factorization ***,Inception V3 can handle images of different *** makes Inception V3 the optimum model for assisting visually challenged people in real-world communication when integrated with Internet of Things(IoT)-based devices.

This research highlights the importance of standards and interoperability in the IoT. An essential component of IoT ecosystems is interoperability, which refers to the ability for various systems and devices to converse and share data. Formats for data, methods of communication, and safeguards are all outlined by standards. Widespread adoption and scalability are made possible through interoperability and standards, which allow devices from many manufacturers to communicate with one another. This research investigates the alliances, regulatory authorities, and commercial associations that cooperate in the creation and advancement of open standards that can be embraced by other entities. The main objective of the research is to showcase the construction of an Internet of Things device capable of communicating with various embedded peripheral protocols utilizing Plug and Play (PnP) technology. Moreover, the research examines the impact of regulatory frameworks on the IoT ecosystem and their role in fostering interoperability. An IoT ecosystem necessitates a standardized and open environment to provide optimal performance in terms of connectivity, data exchange, and innovation. This research contributes to the progress of harmonizing and achieving interoperability among World Wide Web Things. © 2024 IEEE.

Several instances of pneumonia with no clear etiology were recorded in Wuhan,China,on December 31,*** world health organization(WHO)called it COVID-19 that stands for“Coronavirus Disease 2019,”which is the second version of the previously known severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS)Coronavirus and identified in short as(SARSCoV-2).There have been regular restrictions to avoid the infection spread in all countries,including Saudi *** prediction of new cases of infections is crucial for authorities to get ready for early handling of the virus ***:Analysis and forecasting of epidemic patterns in new SARSCoV-2 positive patients are presented in this research using metaheuristic optimization and long short-term memory(LSTM).The optimization method employed for optimizing the parameters of LSTM is Al-Biruni Earth Radius(BER)***:To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology,a dataset is collected based on the recorded cases in Saudi Arabia between March 7^(th),2020 and July 13^(th),*** addition,six regression models were included in the conducted experiments to show the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed *** achieved results show that the proposed approach could reduce the mean square error(MSE),mean absolute error(MAE),and R^(2)by 5.92%,3.66%,and 39.44%,respectively,when compared with the six base *** the other hand,a statistical analysis is performed to measure the significance of the proposed ***:The achieved results confirm the effectiveness,superiority,and significance of the proposed approach in predicting the infection cases of COVID-19.

The importance of identifying stress in living in a fast culture cannot be overstated. The electrical bio-signals produced by the brain are read out using an electroencephalography (EEG) method. Yet, owing to their intricacy, EEG signals can only be deciphered by a physician with extensive training in this area. In order to identify human stress, this research offers a DWT-based hybrid deep learning model that utilizes convolution neural networks and Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (CNN-BLSTM). Helpful for psychiatrists, psychologists, and other medical professionals who need to assess a patient's stress levels. Mental math stress is detected with the use of the Physionet EEG dataset. Using Discrete Wavelet Transform, noise has been eliminated and split into four levels from multi-channel (19 channels) EEG data (DWT). After decomposition, the signals are subjected to an automated feature selection technique using a CNN. At last, stress levels are categorized using BLSTM. The suggested model's accuracy is evaluated in comparison to that of CNN-based LSTM and prior work. Based on the data, it's clear that the suggested mixed model is superior to others in terms of classification accuracy (99.20 percent was attained). Moreover, the suggested model is validated with a classification results of 98.10% using the stratification tenfold cross-validation method. © 2023 IEEE.

IoT gadgets include smart lights, ovens, and industrial data-collecting equipment. IDC expects 41.6 billion connected IoT devices to generate 79.4 ZB of data by 2025. Early IoT devices sent data to the cloud for analysis. When sending trillions of gigabytes to the cloud, the data pipeline clogs. Edge computing enables IoT devices to handle data locally instead of sending it to the cloud. Data is processed at the 'edge' of your local network, rather than transferred away. Technology's versatility makes it valuable in education. IoT edge computing has different requirements than non-IoT edge computing. IoT devices have limited data processing and storage capabilities, thus processing must occur off the device. The edge offers an environment to manage huge numbers of IoT devices and data. Many functions can be off-loaded to the edge, reducing device cost. In education, IoT edge computing architecture has gained importance due to real-time applications. In order to facilitate the analysis of educational system architecture, this paper seeks to provide an IoT Edge computing framework in the field of education. The framework will identify IoT-related issues and concerns. This study discusses IoT Edge computing in education, identifies limits, and makes recommendations. As well as the paper evaluates IoT Edge computing's performance in educational systems. © 2023 IEEE.

Cyber-physical systems (CPS) and the Internet of Things (IoT) technologies link urban systems through networks and improve the delivery of quality services to residents. To enhance municipality services, information and communication technologies (ICTs) are integrated with urban systems. However, the large number of sensors in a smart city generates a significant amount of delicate data, like medical records, credit card numerics, and location coordinates, which are transported across a network to data centers for analysis and processing. This makes smart cities vulnerable to cyberattacks because of the resource constraints of their technology infrastructure. Applications for smart cities pose many security challenges, such as zero-day attacks resulting from exploiting weaknesses in various protocols. Therefore, this paper proposes an optimal hybrid transit search-cascade regional convolutional neural network (hybrid TS-Cascade R-CNN) to detect cyberattacks. The proposed model combines the hybrid transit-search approach with the cascade regional convolutional neural network to create an optimal solution for cyberattack detection. The cascade regional convolutional network uses a hybrid transit search algorithm to enhance the effectiveness of cyberattack detection. By integrating these two approaches, the system can leverage both global traffic patterns and local indicators to improve the accuracy of attack detection. During the training process, the proposed model recognizes and classifies malicious input even in the presence of sophisticated attacks. Finally, the experimental analysis is carried out for various attacks based on different metrics. The accuracy rate attained by the proposed approach is 99.2%, which is acceptable according to standards. © 2023 John Wiley & Sons Ltd.

In today's interconnected world,network traffic is replete with adversarial *** technology evolves,these attacks are also becoming increasingly sophisticated,making them even harder to ***,artificial intelli-gence(Al)and,specifically machine learning(ML),have shown great success in fast and accurate detection,classifica-tion,and even analysis of such ***,there is a growing body of literature addressing how subfields of Al/ML(e.g.,natural language processing(NLP))are getting leveraged to accurately detect evasive malicious patterns in network *** this paper,we delve into the current advancements in ML-based network traffic classification using image *** a rigorous experimental methodology,we first explore the process of network traffic to image ***,we investigate how machine learning techniques can effectively leverage image visualization to accurately classify evasive malicious traces within network *** the utilization of production-level tools and utilities in realistic experiments,our proposed solution achieves an impressive accuracy rate of 99.48%in detecting fileless malware,which is widely regarded as one of the most elusive classes of malicious software.
