The novel Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic has begun in China and is still affecting thousands of patient livesworldwide *** X-ray and Computed Tomography are the gold standardmedical imaging modalities for diagnosing potentially infected COVID-19 cases,applying Ultrasound(US)imaging technique to accomplish this crucial diagnosing task has attracted many physicians *** this article,we propose two modified deep learning classifiers to identify COVID-19 and pneumonia diseases in US images,based on generative adversarial neural networks(GANs).The proposed image classifiers are a semi-supervised GAN and a modifiedGANwith auxiliary *** one includes a modified discriminator to identify the class of the US image using semi-supervised learning technique,keeping its main function of defining the“realness”of tested *** tests have been successfully conducted on public dataset of US images acquired with a convex US *** study demonstrated the feasibility of using chest US images with two GAN classifiers as a new radiological tool for clinical check of COVID-19 *** results of our proposed GAN models showed that high accuracy values above 91.0%were obtained under different sizes of limited training data,outperforming other deep learning-based methods,such as transfer learning models in the recent ***,the clinical implementation of our computer-aided diagnosis of US-COVID-19 is the future work of this study.

In many different sorts of businesses, including public and private, government, critical infrastructures, etc., web apps have grown recently. Therefore, securing web applications is a major concern to protect businesses from loss and unauthorized access to sensitive information. Developers use vulnerable thirdparty modules or components or create programming security flaws themselves and occasionally work with tight budgets. These situations frequently cause people to overlook a crucial aspect of development life cycle security. This paper studies and tests the currently available web security and exploitation tools of OWASP's top ten security vulnerabilities. The main aim of this paper is to improve the detection of OWASP's top ten security vulnerabilities by proposing an exploitation and detection tool that combined features of the tools that has been tested in the paper. © 2022 IEEE.

Peer-to-Peer(P2P)electricity trading is a significant research area that offers maximum fulfilment for both prosumer and *** also decreases the quantity of line loss incurred in Smart Grid(SG).But,uncertainities in demand and supply of the electricity might lead to instability in P2P market for both prosumer and *** recent times,numerous Machine Learning(ML)-enabled load predictive techniques have been developed,while most of the existing studies did not consider its implicit features,optimal parameter selection,and prediction *** order to overcome fulfill this research gap,the current research paper presents a new Multi-Objective Grasshopper Optimisation Algorithm(MOGOA)with Deep Extreme Learning Machine(DELM)-based short-term load predictive technique i.e.,MOGOA-DELM model for P2P Energy Trading(ET)in *** proposed MOGOA-DELM model involves four distinct stages of operations namely,data cleaning,Feature Selection(FS),prediction,and parameter *** addition,MOGOA-based FS technique is utilized in the selection of optimum subset of ***,DELM-based predictive model is also applied in forecasting the load *** proposed MOGOA model is also applied in FS and the selection of optimalDELM parameters to improve the predictive *** inspect the effectual outcome of the proposed MOGOA-DELM model,a series of simulations was performed using UK Smart Meter *** the experimentation procedure,the proposed model achieved the highest accuracy of 85.80%and the results established the superiority of the proposed model in predicting the testing data.

Early diagnosis of osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) can inhibit the progression and improve femoral head preservation. The radiograph difference between early ONFH and healthy ones is not apparent to the naked eye. It is also hard to produce a large dataset to train the classification model. In this paper, we propose Asymmetric-Sensitive Transformer (AsT) to capture the uneven development of the bilateral femoral head to enable robust ONFH detection. Our ONFH detection is realized using the self-attention mechanism to femoral head regions while conferring sensitivity to the uneven development by the attention-shared transformer. The real-world experiment studies show that AsT achieves the best performance of AUC 0.9313 in the early diagnosis of ONFH and can find out misdiagnosis cases firmly. The fairness problem arouses attention in machine learning. One problem with traditional counterfactual fairness is the assumed causal models are constrained by prior knowledge. We propose a framework named Structural Causal Fairness Framework (SCFF) to achieve counterfactual fairness without assumptions like previous works. To correct observations adversely affected by the sensitive attributes, we follow the objectives of fair sampling and construct structural causal models based on causal discovery and causal inference. Experiments show our framework generates competitive results on both counterfactual fairness level and prediction accuracy compared with the other three baselines. More importantly, our framework is all based on data and has good generalization on machine learning problems. © 2023 IEEE.

Congestion on major highways can be alleviated by moving in platoons. By exchanging information about their vehicles over VANETs, platoon members may keep the distance between their vehicles and inside the platoon consistent. To be sure, the strength of a VANET's connections can be gauged in part by its connection quality. This research investigates the probabilities of access, reachability and the connectivity between nodes (vehicles) and roadside-units (RSUs) in a two-way platoon-based VANETs that make use of such infrastructure. We call this the connectivity probability, and it is the likelihood that, during a given number of hops, moving vehicles on the express-way will be able to reach at least (1) RSU other than the road. In addition to looking at the connection on the same route, we also look at the link via vehicles on nearby surrounding roads and how they connect to the RSU. The analytical results (mathematical equations and calculations) have been validated by simulations, which show that a network's existence of platoons can boost the likelihood of connectivity. There is a greater chance of connectivity in a vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) network with multiple communication channels than in a network with only one. The results of this study can help eliminate the traffic jams and promote safer, more considerate motorists. Then everyone who is using the roads can travel in greater ease and security. These findings also provide substantial theoretical support for the design of a relish intelligent transportation system (ITS).

IoT and cloud technology are vital for large systems. An improved data storage technique for IoT applications and cloud distribution is described in this research. Scalability, reliability, latency, and resource usage are internal and external to the algorithm. The approach above scales well with work portion or dataset size. The first experiment shows the algorithm scaling perfectly even as IoT devices generate additional data. Experiment 2 proves linear scalability works for 100,000 IoT devices, while Experiment 3 efficiently organizes 1 million data points. It proved the algorithm by tolerating manufactured faults. To ensure data service availability, Experiment 1 tests the system's operational dependability on node failures and network disturbances. With 0.1% downtime even under challenging conditions, experiment 2 showed the algorithm's incredible robustness in real-world applications. To improve data organization, this experiment exhibits data consistency when nodes fail. Lower and constant time improves operation safety and reliability. Algorithm 1 shows how the algorithm can quickly answer data queries and keep up with the massive amount of data transfers, supporting low-latency IoT applications.
