This paper discusses the design and testing of a mobile application for the interactive creation of geofences in the form of polygons. The application allows the visualization of the user's position on GPS maps, the input of the polygon points used to describe each geofence, and the export at any time of the already created geofences to a MongoDB database in GeoJSON format. The Mapbox GL-JS library are used to visualize GPS maps with the user's position, as well as to enter, edit and delete geofences. By leveraging MongoDB's geospatial query capabilities, services can be developed whose logic requires checking for approaching a geofence, entering or leaving in/out of a geofence. The application is used by the authors of the paper to build a database of geofences that describe the contours of historic landmarks that are not visible on GPS street maps because only a portion of the building foundations have been preserved. © 2023 IEEE.

Every single day, users are increasing as the world has explored technology where data is producing more and more big data and cloud technologies are the reason behind the scene because big data and cloud computing are the booming pieces of knowledge currently with AI helpful for users and for other professional and practical purposes. Nowadays integration of technologies also been an emerging topic it helps in the reduction of disadvantages of particular technology to provide better solutions. This paper talks about what, and why big data and cloud technology in daily lives and where big data in cloud technology is used. This paper examines recently proposed frameworks/models where big data and cloud technologies are utilized together and reviewed in a detailed way from the year 2020 to 2023. What Advantages can be there in utilizing both big data and cloud together is also discussed. This study explains the most used big data analytical tools and widely used cloud platforms and performed a simple case study on two datasets (world data and disease symptoms dataset) to draw some insights into which Rapid Miner and Power BI are used where RF and Gradient Boosted Trees got more accuracy than other classification algorithms with 0.7 accuracy while using disease symptoms dataset and some visualizations are drawn with use of world data. © 2024 IEEE.

The high level of gender inequality in the world of work poses serious challenges, especially regarding participation and career development between men and women. Data shows the comparison of the Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) between women and men in Indonesia. One of the factors causing the low level of labor force participation rate (LFPR)."for women in Indonesia is the existence of cultural norms that are still strong in most societies. By considering obstacles such as the low level of education among women, it is clear the impact that arises from gender inequality in the structure of society. As a result, women often experience limitations in accessing training and skills development, making it difficult for them to compete equally in the world of work. Awareness of the importance of transformational initiatives in changing the gender equality paradigm in the world of work is the key to producing a positive impact. By empowering women, a positive potential is opened that not only advances women individually but also makes a significant contribution to overall economic and social progress. Through understanding that transformational initiatives and skills can strengthen gender equality in the world of work, it is also necessary to emphasize the role of technology as a catalyst in achieving this goal. Increased use of technology has been key in providing solutions to gender equality challenges across various levels of Society. The article presents one of the aspects affecting network security, in particular accessibility to communication devices by executing a sequence of rules for a specific time interval. Intuitionistic fuzzy estimators were used to calculate the degrees of membership non-membership and hesitation margin of the packets falling into the allowed lists. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has had a significant impact on the e-commerce sector since its inception, enabling major retailers to gain a competitive edge. Through its application, these enterprises have been able to analyze data collected from user activity on their websites, subsequently crafting user profiles and identifying potential products that align with their preferences. In the forthcoming years, Virtual Reality (VR) is anticipated to emerge as a transformative advancement in human-computer interaction within the e-commerce domain. Therefore, it is crucial to incorporate AI within VR-developed environments to monitor user interactions therein to construct accurate user profiles. In this paper, we propose the definition and collection of four key actions that users can perform in VR Shopping environments. The activities we are able to register are tied to the current VR technology capabilities. These are further used to build user profiles and provide recommendations tailored to each user. Moreover, the algorithm built for product recommendation is detailed, as well as an evaluation of such recommendation system performed with a custom dataset of categorized products. © 2024 IEEE.

This study evaluates green space suitability in İzmir’s Konak district using the analytic hierarchy process, machine learning, weighted linear combination, and the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution methods, integrated with geographic information systems. The approach enhances reliability in green space identification by ensuring consistent integration of weights determined by different methods. Machine learning enables dynamic adjustments to criterion weights, yielding the best results with the random forest algorithm. The analysis revealed that 75% of green spaces were sub-optimally located, with optimal zones in the western and northern regions. The technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution methodology prioritized area ZGS_6 as the most suitable area, while ZGS_4 ranked lowest. This method supports efficient resource allocation and improves budgeting processes. Hence, the integration of multi-criteria decision-making and machine learning with geographic information systems enhances the planning of sustainable cities and offers critical insights to decision-makers who prioritize sustainability and livability. © The Author(s) 2025.

Effect of individual atmospheric parameters on beam spreading of higher-order Gaussian beam

The beam spreading is essential for evaluating the higher-order Gaussian beam when it propagates through atmospheric turbulence. In this paper, we investigate the impact of individual atmospheric parameters such as jitter, turbulence, wind speed, and thermal blooming on beam spreading of Hermite Gaussian (HG), and Laguerre Gaussian (LG) beams. We also examine spot size variations due to beam quality on various HG and LG modes. It is seen that the impact of spreading caused by beam quality and turbulence is higher than that of jitter, wind speed, and thermal blooming. As the mode order increases, the effect of turbulence strength increases, leading to more spread for HG and LG beams. Spreading due to diffraction and beam quality on higher mode LG beam is higher than the HG beam in different modes. Beam spreading due to thermal blooming for the lower mode is higher compared to the higher mode for LG and HG beams. The sensitivity of higher mode LG beams to turbulence distortions is greater than HG beams as they experience more significant fractional increases in their spot size due to turbulence. The combined beam spread for the Laguerre Gaussian beam is larger than the Hermite Gaussian beam. This paper aims to understand better individual beam spreading in the atmosphere and its impact on the overall performance of higher-order laser propagation to develop optimized laser systems. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Software quality refers to zero free error product after releasing to the market as possible. This paper is an attempt to determine the effect of email software product errors and mistakes that are well exploited by an attacker. It is involving answers of questions for instance, how email products could be mature in the newer versions, how email software products could be more protected of the cyber-attacks, how the software product concepts might be used to prevent the software exposure of attacks. This study is attempting to building relationships between product concepts to minimize the effect of cyber-attacks and make the future product versions free of errors as possible. © 2023 IEEE.
