This paper focuses on the performance of equalizer zero-determinant(ZD)strategies in discounted repeated Stackelberg asymmetric *** the leader-follower adversarial scenario,the strong Stackelberg equilibrium(SSE)deriving from the opponents’best response(BR),is technically the optimal strategy for the ***,computing an SSE strategy may be difficult since it needs to solve a mixed-integer program and has exponential complexity in the number of *** this end,the authors propose an equalizer ZD strategy,which can unilaterally restrict the opponent’s expected *** authors first study the existence of an equalizer ZD strategy with one-to-one situations,and analyze an upper bound of its performance with the baseline SSE *** the authors turn to multi-player models,where there exists one player adopting an equalizer ZD *** authors give bounds of the weighted sum of opponents’s utilities,and compare it with the SSE ***,the authors give simulations on unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)and the moving target defense(MTD)to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Evolutionary computation is a rapidly evolving field and the related algorithms have been successfully used to solve various real-world optimization *** past decade has also witnessed their fast progress to solve a class of challenging optimization problems called high-dimensional expensive problems(HEPs).The evaluation of their objective fitness requires expensive resource due to their use of time-consuming physical experiments or computer ***,it is hard to traverse the huge search space within reasonable resource as problem dimension *** evolutionary algorithms(EAs)tend to fail to solve HEPs competently because they need to conduct many such expensive evaluations before achieving satisfactory *** reduce such evaluations,many novel surrogate-assisted algorithms emerge to cope with HEPs in recent *** there lacks a thorough review of the state of the art in this specific and important *** paper provides a comprehensive survey of these evolutionary algorithms for *** start with a brief introduction to the research status and the basic concepts of ***,we present surrogate-assisted evolutionary algorithms for HEPs from four main *** also give comparative results of some representative algorithms and application ***,we indicate open challenges and several promising directions to advance the progress in evolutionary optimization algorithms for HEPs.

Hybrid-Optimized Model for Deepfake Detection

The advancement of deep learning models has led to the creation of novel techniques for image and video synthesis. One such technique is the deepfake, which swaps faces among persons and then produces hyper-realistic videos of individuals saying or doing things that they never said or done. These deepfake videos pose a serious risk to everyone and countries if they are exploited for extortion, scamming, political disinformation, or identity theft. This work presents a new methodology based on a hybrid-optimized model for detecting deepfake videos. A Mask Region-based Convolutional Neural Network (Mask R-CNN) is employed to detect human faces from video frames. Then, the optimal bounding box representing the face region per frame is selected, which could help to discover many artifacts. An improved Xception-Network is proposed to extract informative and deep hierarchical representations of the produced face frames. The Bayesian optimization (BO) algorithm is employed to search for the optimal hyperparameters' values in the extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost) classifier model to properly discriminate the deepfake videos from the genuine ones. The proposed method is trained and validated on two different datasets;CelebDF-FaceForencics++ (c23) and FakeAVCeleb, and tested also on various datasets;CelebDF, DeepfakeTIMIT, and FakeAVCeleb. The experimental study proves the superiority of the proposed method over the state-of-the-art methods. The proposed method yielded %97.88 accuracy and %97.65 AUROC on the trained CelebDF-FaceForencics++ (c23) and tested CelebDF datasets. Additionally, it achieved %98.44 accuracy and %98.44 AUROC on the trained CelebDF-FaceForencics++ (c23) and tested DeepfakeTIMIT datasets. Moreover, it yielded %99.50 accuracy and %99.21 AUROC on the FakeAVCeleb visual dataset. © (2025), (science and Information Organization). All Rights Reserved.

Secure location-aware geocast routing in Internet of Vehicles

Efficient message dissemination in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) relies on robust connectivity between neighboring vehicular nodes, yet it is often compromised by malicious intruders. While recent literature proposes various approaches to enhance geocasting performance, security considerations for connectivity are often overlooked. To address this gap, we propose the Secure Location-Aware Cache Agent based Geocast Routing (SL-CAGR) protocol, emphasizing an Intrusion Prevention Technique (IPT) for message integrity preservation and a Connectivity Reliant Packet Forwarding (CRPF) algorithm for improved VANET connectivity. Our protocol introduces a network model for cache agent-based geocast routing on the Internet of Vehicle (IoV) environment, implements IPT using Diffie-Hellman digital signatures, and presents a secure geocast routing strategy focusing on re-caching and cache agent selection. Empirical simulations demonstrate SL-CAGR's superiority in packet delivery ratio, packet loss, duplication, hop count, end-to-end delay, and network load compared to these protocols. Simulation results demonstrate that SL-CAGR outperforms state-of-the-art techniques like CAG, CTRC, and D-Flooding. SL-CAGR stands out by merging intrusion prevention, secure geocast routing, and cache agent selection, ensuring robust security and efficiency in VANETs. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

We propose FlexibleBP, a novel cuffless blood pressure monitoring system using a wrist-worn flexible sensor to enhance comfort and accuracy. By capturing pulse wave signals from the radial artery, we develop a personalized estimation framework incorporating a Transformer model with fine-tuning. Experiments with 36 participants confirm FlexibleBP's accuracy, meeting AAMI standards. This work marks a step toward more user-friendly, advanced wearable BP monitoring solutions. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

This research addresses the pressing global demand for food by leveraging cutting-edge deep learning techniques for automating plant disease detection. Focusing on tomato and potato leaf diseases, the study utilized the PlantVillage dataset to compare classical machine learning methods, such as Local Binary Patterns (LBP) combined with classifiers like kNN, SVM, and Extreme Learning Machines, against modern Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures. These included MobileNet, DenseNet201, ResNet50, Inception V3, and VGG16/19. A custom-designed CNN model was developed with unique configurations implemented using Keras and TensorFlow. The model was tested for binary, 6-class, and 10-class classifications, achieving remarkable accuracy rates of 99.6%, 98.4%, and 97.2%, respectively. Notably, after 50 training epochs, the model achieved a peak accuracy of 99.78% for plant disease classification. A practical web-based application was also developed, integrating the best-performing model to facilitate real-time leaf disease detection and notify farmers via email. This approach demonstrates a significant advancement in sustainable agriculture by providing an efficient, accurate, and scalable solution for early disease detection, which is critical for improving crop yield and productivity. © 2025 IEEE.

The research aims to identify the age, plumage, and sex of bird species using standard Pre-trained Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (Pre-DCNNs). The proposed work involves collecting various bird images, which are then used for training and validating the pre-trained DCNNs. The dataset contains 200 images of four bird species. The dataset was split into twelve labeled classes of images based on age, plumage, and sex. The standard image manipulation techniques such as cropping, flipping, mirroring, rotating, shearing, and skewing were used as image augmentation techniques to increase the size of the proposed dataset. The proposed data is preprocessed, including feature extraction and data cleaning, to ensure the performance of the Pre-Trained DCNNs. The Pre-Trained DCNNs were trained on 90% of the dataset to recognize patterns in bird images. The accuracy of the pre-trained DCNNs was evaluated using metrics such as classification accuracy. The research acknowledged the advantages and limitations of the standard Pre-Trained DCNNs on the age, plumage, and sex of birds using the images. Also, it compares the performance of the Pre-Trained DCNNs on the proposed bird species image dataset. © 2024 IEEE.

Regardless of the rapid growth of technology, e-commerce has reached its apex. This article proposes a novel application concept. It describes the public's needs for M-Commerce, as well as the analysis and literacy survey of essential components of mobile devices that use such apps. The design and security of the application are both carefully studied. This study examines the characteristics and possibilities of a mobile E-App for selling and purchasing fresh vegetables. Technology improvements have changed how crimes are solved, which has led to more collaborative study into how criminals act. "Prophet," an additive model-based method for predicting complicated, nonlinear time series data, such as crime actions, is presented. It does a good job of capturing time trends like holiday and seasonal affects. Using Prophet along with machine learning methods like Bayesian Regressor, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Gradient Boosting, Random Forest, Voting Regressor, KNN, LSTM, and Neural Network makes it more accurate at predicting crimes. With these tools, police can proactively decide how to use their resources and stop crime, which means that neighborhoods will be better. This essay shows how new technologies and models that are based on data are changing the way crimes are solved, starting a new era of preventing crimes and keeping communities safe. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.
