A hypergraph is a type of graph, H=(V,E) where V is the set of nodes and E is the set of hyperedges;where one edge consists of may nodes. Morphological operators are nonlinear operators which can be applied on images, graphs, hypergraphs etc. Dilation and erosion are morphological operators and other operators like opening, closing can be obtained by repeated application of these operators. Topological space consists of a set X together with topology τ defined on X, which satisfies the axioms namely Nullset, arbitrary union of opensets and finite intersection of opensets. Such a topological space S=(X,T) is compatible with a hypergraph H if X=VH∪EH where VH and EH are the vertex set and edge set respectively. The morphological operators induces several topology on hypergraph with its compatible topological space S=(X,T). Neighborhood of a node is defined in many ways which can be considered as open sets in the corresponding topological space. The purpose of this paper is to apply topological properties on hypergraphs using morphological operators. Separation axiom and closure function are illustrated using hypergraph structure. The work is extended to crime analysis, text processing and patient disease analysis. Topological feature extraction is done on Barcodes created from crime hypergraphs. In response to growing security concerns and the increasing demand for face recognition (FR) technology in various sectors, this research explores the application of deep learning techniques, specifically pre-trained Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models, in the field of FR. The study harnesses the power of five pre-trained CNN models—DenseNet201, ResNet152V2, MobileNetV2, SeResNeXt, and Xception—for robust feature extraction, followed by SoftMax classification. A novel weighted average ensemble model, meticulously optimized through a grid search technique, is introduced to augment feature extraction and classification efficacy. Emphasizing the significance of robust data pre-processing, encompassing resizing, data augmentation, splitting, and normalization, the research endeavors to fortify the reliability of FR systems. Methodologically, the study systematically investigates hyperparameters across deep learning models, fine-tuning network depth, learning rate, activation functions, and optimization methods. Comprehensive evaluations unfold across diverse datasets to discern the effectiveness of the proposed models. Key contributions of this work encompass the utilization of pre-trained CNN models for feature extraction, extensive evaluation across multiple datasets, the introduction of a weighted average ensemble model, emphasis on robust data pre-processing, systematic hyperparameter tuning, and the utilization of comprehensive evaluation metrics. The results, meticulously analyzed, unveil the superior performance of the proposed method, consistently outshining alternative models across pivotal metrics, including Recall, Precision, F1 Score, Matthews Correlation Coefficient (MCC), and Accuracy. Notably, the proposed method attains an exceptional accuracy of 99.48% on the labeled faces in the wild (LFW) dataset, surpassing erstwhile state-of-the-art benchmarks. In Mobile sensor Networks, Each and every wireless node dynamically changes its location due to its mobility nature. The routing information is maintained by the master node to deliver a data packet from source to destination. The attackers easily hack this wireless network. The performance of the complete networks is dropped by packets transmission attacks. Attacker node drops the packet. An enhanced protection technique in response to packets transmission misbehaviour attacks is provided to increase the energy efficiency of mobile nodes. This paper proposed the Cryptographic formed Malicious Node Detection and Secure Routing framework (CMNDSR). This model incorporates three various strategies specially algorithm for control of access, to protects initial illegal node in the network. The suspected identification and prevention techniques based on hop count value. Secure routing method with a private key generated at random like one time password (OTP). The proposed methods are power efficient, by operating a minimum number of nodes in challenging environment. The misbehaviour nodes are promptly identified and isolated using this proposed approach. The Cryptographic based Secure routing algorithm is applied to provide secure transmission in wireless networking environment. The outcomes of the simulation display how effectively the recommended approach can identify malicious nodes in a MANET. In comparison with previous methods, the energy consumption is 10% lower and the suspicious node detection rate is increased by 95%. © 2024 IEEE.

Nowcasting and forecasting solar irradiance are vital for the optimal prediction of grid-connected solar photovoltaic(PV)power *** plants face operational challenges and scheduling dispatch difficulties due to the fluctuating nature of their power *** the generation capacity within the electric grid increases,accurately predicting this output becomes increasingly essential,especially given the random and non-linear characteristics of solar irradiance under variable weather *** study presents a novel prediction method for solar irradiance,which is directly in correlation with PV power output,targeting both short-term and medium-term forecast *** proposed hybrid framework employs a fast trainable statistical learning technique based on the truncated-regularized kernel ridge regression *** proposed method excels in forecasting solar irradiance,especially during highly intermittent weather periods.A key strength of our model is the incorporation of multiple historical weather parameters as inputs to generate accurate predictions of future solar irradiance values in its scalable *** evaluated the performance of our model using data sets from both cloudy and sunny days in Seattle and Medford,USA and compared it against three forecasting models:persistence,modified 24-hour persistence and least *** on three widely accepted statistical performance metrics(root mean squared error,mean absolute error and coefficient of determination),our hybrid model demonstrated superior predictive accuracy in varying weather conditions and forecast horizons.

We propose a novel framework for incorporating unlabeled data into semi-supervised classification problems, where scenarios involving the minimization of either i) adversarially robust or ii) non-robust loss functions have been considered. Notably, we allow the unlabeled samples to deviate slightly (in total variation sense) from the in-domain distribution. The core idea behind our framework is to combine Distributionally Robust Optimization (DRO) with self-supervised training. As a result, we also leverage efficient polynomial-time algorithms for the training stage. From a theoretical standpoint, we apply our framework on the classification problem of a mixture of two Gaussians in Rd, where in addition to the m independent and labeled samples from the true distribution, a set of n (usually with n m) out of domain and unlabeled samples are given as well. Using only the labeled data, it is known that the generalization error can be bounded by ∝ (d/m)1/2. However, using our method on both isotropic and non-isotropic Gaussian mixture models, one can derive a new set of analytically explicit and non-asymptotic bounds which show substantial improvement on the generalization error compared to ERM. Our results underscore two significant insights: 1) out-of-domain samples, even when unlabeled, can be harnessed to narrow the generalization gap, provided that the true data distribution adheres to a form of the "cluster assumption", and 2) the semi-supervised learning paradigm can be regarded as a special case of our framework when there are no distributional shifts. We validate our claims through experiments conducted on a variety of synthetic and real-world datasets. © 2024 12th International Conference on Learning Representations, ICLR 2024. Classifying the visual features in images to retrieve a specific image is a significant problem within the computer vision field especially when dealing with historical faded colored ***,there were lots of efforts trying to automate the classification operation and retrieve similar images *** reach this goal,we developed a VGG19 deep convolutional neural network to extract the visual features from the images ***,the distances among the extracted features vectors are measured and a similarity score is generated using a Siamese deep neural *** Siamese model built and trained at first from scratch but,it didn’t generated high evaluation ***,we re-built it from VGG19 pre-trained deep learning model to generate higher evaluation ***,three different distance metrics combined with the Sigmoid activation function are experimented looking for the most accurate method formeasuring the similarities among the retrieved *** that the highest evaluation parameters generated using the Cosine distance ***,the Graphics Processing Unit(GPU)utilized to run the code instead of running it on the Central Processing Unit(CPU).This step optimized the execution further since it expedited both the training and the retrieval time *** extensive experimentation,we reached satisfactory solution recording 0.98 and 0.99 F-score for the classification and for the retrieval,respectively.

Air pollution is a significant environmental hazard in modern society because of its serious impact on human health and the environment. In point of fact, there has been a substantial rise in the levels of pollution in the environment over the course of the past few years. Data analyst is commonly encountering the issue of data missing. It is crucial to handle them efficiently to get more accurate and dependable data analysis findings. This study aims to improve understanding of data missing mechanisms, data imputation techniques, and examine the efficacy of frequently utilized data imputation techniques on quantitative datasets. Analysts and data scientists frequently face the challenge of missing data in their investigations. Therefore, it is essential to handle them in an efficient manner so as to gain improved and more trustworthy results through the analysis of the data. The objective of this research is to enhance comprehension of data missing processes and data imputed methods, while also evaluating the effectiveness of data imputed approaches often employed in quantitative datasets. A complete comparison of 5 different data imputation methods is presented in this article. These approaches include mean imputation, median imputation, mode imputation, kNN imputation and Linear Regression. For the purpose of analysing and contrasting the efficacy of the various data imputation approaches, we have utilized five distinct numeric datasets that were gathered from several air pollution repositories. Standardized Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) is the technique for assessing the efficacy of data imputation techniques. According on the findings of the analysis, the kNN imputation approach offers superior performance than the other methods. There is no correlation between the length of the dataset or the number of values that are missing in the dataset and the accuracy of the data imputed approach. © 2024 IEEE.

With the increasing need for secure communication and storage of sensitive data in various formats like text, audio and images, there is a growing concern for protecting this information from unauthorized access or data breaches. Although encryption techniques are widely used for secure data transmission, they may not be sufficient for hiding data in plain sight. The proposed approach addresses the challenge of securing sensitive data in text, audio and image formats by implementing robust steganography and encryption techniques while ensuring seamless data storage and data monitoring in cloud storage platforms like Amazon S3. The proposed approach utilizes the least significant bit (LSB) steganography method, where the least significant bit of each pixel or sample in the media is replaced with a bit of the personal data, ensuring minimal visual or audible changes. The proposed approach will be designed to embed secret messages into carrier data using steganography algorithms and encrypt the resulting data using a symmetric key. The encrypted data will be stored in an Amazon S3 bucket for secure storage, and the entire bucket will be monitored using Dynatrace for performance and security analysis. The proposed approach received 90% of security breaches, indicating the monitoring system is highly accurate. Further, the approach could reduce the response time from 5 to 2 s and increase the throughput from 100 requests per second to 500 requests per second. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

The recent advancements in vision technology have had a significant impact on our ability to identify multiple objects and understand complex *** technologies,such as augmented reality-driven scene integration,robotic navigation,autonomous driving,and guided tour systems,heavily rely on this type of scene *** paper presents a novel segmentation approach based on the UNet network model,aimed at recognizing multiple objects within an *** methodology begins with the acquisition and preprocessing of the image,followed by segmentation using the fine-tuned UNet ***,we use an annotation tool to accurately label the segmented *** labeling,significant features are extracted from these segmented objects,encompassing KAZE(Accelerated Segmentation and Extraction)features,energy-based edge detection,frequency-based,and blob *** the classification stage,a convolution neural network(CNN)is *** comprehensive methodology demonstrates a robust framework for achieving accurate and efficient recognition of multiple objects in *** experimental results,which include complex object datasets like MSRC-v2 and PASCAL-VOC12,have been *** analyzing the experimental results,it was found that the PASCAL-VOC12 dataset achieved an accuracy rate of 95%,while the MSRC-v2 dataset achieved an accuracy of 89%.The evaluation performed on these diverse datasets highlights a notably impressive level of performance.

The hardware and software of a computer are controlled by its operating system (OS), which performs essential tasks such as input and output processing, file and memory management, and the management of peripheral devices such as disk drives and printers. Application software refers to programs designed for specific purposes, these applications, often freely available and open source, contribute to the rising number of downloads. In the third quarter of 2022, combined downloads from the Apple App Store and Google Play Reached an estimated 35.3 billion. However, the prevalence of insecurity in these applications and technologies heightens the potential for cybercrimes. Protection against unauthorized intruders is crucial in identifying malicious applications. Machine learning (ML) serves as a promising avenue for detecting malware attacks, offering potential solutions to bolster cybersecurity measures. We propose a novel approach utilizing ML to enhance malware detection accuracy by segmenting datasets into distinct groups. Our research employs supervised ML techniques on the CICMaldroid2020 dataset, which includes comprehensive information such as intent actions, permissions, and sensitive APIs. The dataset was partitioned into four groups, each containing 150 features, and analyzed across four experiments to distinguish between attack and benign classes. Our proposed model demonstrated exceptional performance, with the random forest algorithm achieving an accuracy of 98.6% and a precision of 98.75%. These results highlight the effectiveness of our segmentation approach and its significant contribution to advancing malware detection in Android applications, offering a promising direction for future cybersecurity solutions. © 2024 by the authors of this article.
