In this paper, we consider the analysis and control of continuous-time nonlinear systems to ensure universal shifted stability and performance, i.e., stability and performance w.r.t. each forced equilibrium point of the system. This "equilibrium-free" concept is especially beneficial for control problems that require the tracking of setpoints and rejection of persistent disturbances, such as input loads. In this paper, we show how the velocity form, i.e., the time-differentiated dynamics of the system, plays a crucial role in characterizing these properties and how the analysis of it can be solved by the application of Linear Parameter-Varying (LPV) methods in a computationally efficient manner. Furthermore, by leveraging the properties of the velocity form and the LPV framework, a novel controller synthesis method is presented which ensures closed-loop universal shifted stability and performance. The proposed controller design is verified in a simulation study and also experimentally on a real system. Additionally, we compare the proposed method to a standard LPV control design, demonstrating the improved stability and performance guarantees of the new approach. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. One of the most common kinds of cancer is breast *** early detection of it may help lower its overall rates of *** this paper,we robustly propose a novel approach for detecting and classifying breast cancer regions in thermal *** proposed approach starts with data preprocessing the input images and segmenting the significant regions of *** addition,to properly train the machine learning models,data augmentation is applied to increase the number of segmented regions using various scaling *** the other hand,to extract the relevant features from the breast cancer cases,a set of deep neural networks(VGGNet,ResNet-50,AlexNet,and GoogLeNet)are *** resulting set of features is processed using the binary dipper throated algorithm to select the most effective features that can realize high classification *** selected features are used to train a neural network to finally classify the thermal images of breast *** achieve accurate classification,the parameters of the employed neural network are optimized using the continuous dipper throated optimization *** results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach in classifying the breast cancer cases when compared to other recent approaches in the ***,several experiments were conducted to compare the performance of the proposed approach with the other *** results of these experiments emphasized the superiority of the proposed approach.

The article discusses the issue of creating a dynamic system for managing and monitoring the quality of ore flow in mineral resource complexes using simulation modeling. The purpose of this study is to adapt the mathematical apparatus of Petri nets to such modeling. The article describes the choice and justification of the simulation modeling apparatus and provides a conceptual representation of the ore flow model in the form of an adaptation of a continuous Petri net. An architectural solution is proposed that covers a number of processes, such as geological exploration, mining, moving loads in the business processes of enterprises, but also to support the rock mass. The proposed architecture is being coordinated with information systems and software and hardware of mining enterprises, which makes it possible to identify data needs for the formation of technical specifications for the correction of business processes. The proposed control system will make it possible to implement simulation modeling both in model and real time for timely and adequate assessment of the progress of work being carried out and clarifying the reasons for the lag behind planned schedules using a Petri net. © 2024 IEEE.

An intelligent system for monitoring the integrity of operating pipelines is presented. The software package is designed to assess the corrosion rate and calculate the residual life of pipelines, which takes into account the parameters of climatic and transported environments, the characteristics of pipelines and their insulating coatings. The complex allows us to consider different types of corrosion: atmospheric, electrochemical and mechanical. A functional structure is proposed that describes the operating principle of the software package, calculation results and examples of intelligent system interfaces are presented.

When studying string vibrations, the linear wave equation is most often used. This does not take into account the dependence of the string tension force on the amplitude. For metals, even with a slight elongation, the tension force will increase significantly, which will affect the speed of propagation of transverse waves and the frequency of vibrations. The speed of transverse vibrations is limited by the tensile strength of the material. Thus, for high-strength silicon-chromium-manganese steel, the ratio of the speed of longitudinal waves to the maximum speed of transverse waves is approximately equal to 10. For other materials, this ratio is much larger, so we will assume that longitudinal deformations at each moment of time have time to be evenly distributed along the length of the string, because during one transverse vibration a large number of longitudinal vibrations occur. © 2024 IEEE.

We consider the control design of stochastic discrete-time linear multi-agent systems (MASs) under a global signal temporal logic (STL) specification to be satisfied at a predefined probability. By decomposing the dynamics into deterministic and error components, we construct a probabilistic reachable tube (PRT) as the Cartesian product of reachable sets of the individual error systems driven by disturbances lying in confidence regions (CRs) with a fixed probability. By bounding the PRT probability with the specification probability, we tighten all state constraints induced by the STL specification by solving tractable optimization problems over segments of the PRT, and relax the underlying stochastic problem with a deterministic one. This approach reduces conservatism compared to tightening guided by the STL structure. Additionally, we propose a recursively feasible algorithm to attack the resulting problem by decomposing it into agent-level subproblems, which are solved iteratively according to a scheduling policy. We demonstrate our method on a ten-agent system, where existing approaches are impractical. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper introduces a new variational Gaussian filtering approach for estimating the state of a nonlinear dynamic system. We first assume that the predictive distribution of the state is Gaussian and derive an iterative method for updating the state posterior in the natural parameter space through KullbackLeibler divergence minimization. The obtained update rule is the same as that of the conjugate-computation variational inference technique in Bayesian learning. The derivation here is simpler and more insightful. We then impose a Wishart prior on the inverse of the state prediction covariance to take into account the impact of approximating the state predictive distribution using a Gaussian density on the state posterior estimation. The prediction covariance is identified jointly with the state using variational inference and the established state posterior update rule to achieve the desired Gaussian filtering. Simulation study examines the performance of the proposed filtering framework in target tracking based on bearing and range measurements. © 2024 ISIF.

The forecasting of of pseudo-measurements play an important role in distribution system state estimation (DSSE). This paper proposes robust DSSE method based on forecasting-aided graphical learning method. The nodal power consumption models are first built to produce pseudo-measurements based on deep neural network. Then, the pseudo-measurements and real-time measurements are represented as a graph according to the topology of the distribution network, which are further processed by a graph attention network to capture the mapping relationship between the graphical measurements and the state variables based on the error modeling of pseudo-measurements. The robustness against anomalous measurements is achieved through the embedding of structural information of DN. The modeling of pseudo-measurements further enhance its robustness by guiding the formulation of edge weights of the graph neural network. Comparative tests are carried out on a IEEE 119-node system to demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method. © 2024, State Grid Electric Power.

This article contemplates the problem of collecting and storing technological data during multichannel and multi - coordinate machining on CNC machines obtained using the OPC UA protocol and applying Node-RED open-source instrumentation. A structural model of obtaining, visualizing and storing technological data in multichannel and multi - coordinate machining is proposed in this research. The necessary nodes for Collection and storage of technological data in multi-channel CNC processing are implemented and configured. The researchers illustrated practical aspects of building a system for collecting and storing technological data in multichannel machining using the OPC UA protocol and applying Node-RED open-source tools and a non-relational MongoDB database.
