MSC Codes 90C05, 90C10, 90C11, 90C30, 90C90, 65Y05The SCIP Optimization Suite provides a collection of software packages for mathematical optimization, centered around the constraint integer programming (CIP) framework SCIP. This report discusses the enhancements and extensions included in SCIP Optimization Suite 9.0. The updates in SCIP 9.0 include improved symmetry handling, additions and improvements of nonlinear handlers and primal heuristics, a new cut generator and two new cut selection schemes, a new branching rule, a new LP interface, and several bugfixes. SCIP Optimization Suite 9.0 also features new Rust and C++ interfaces for SCIP, new Python interface for SoPlex, along with enhancements to existing interfaces. SCIP Optimization Suite 9.0 also includes new and improved features in the LP solver SoPlex, the presolving library PaPILO, the parallel framework UG, the decomposition framework GCG, and the SCIP extension SCIP-SDP. These additions and enhancements have resulted in an overall performance improvement of SCIP in terms of solving time, number of nodes in the branch-and-bound tree, as well as the reliability of the solver. According to the Greek mythology, Typhon was a gigantic monster with one hundred dragon heads, bigger than all mountains. His open hands were extending from East to West, his head could reach the sky and flames were coming out of his mouth. His body below the waste consisted of curled snakes. This research effort introduces the "Cyber-Typhon" (CYTY) an Online Multi-Task Anomaly Detection Framework. It aims to fully upgrade old passive infrastructure through an intelligent mechanism, using advanced Computational Intelligence (COIN) algorithms. More specifically, it proposes an intelligent Multi-Task Learning framework, which combines On-Line Sequential Extreme Learning Machines (OS-ELM) and Restricted Boltzmann Machines (RBMs) in order to control data flows. The final target of this model is the intelligent classification of Critical Infrastructures’ network flow, resulting in Anomaly Detection due to Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) attacks. © 2019, IFIP International Federation for Information Processing.

Optimum Production for a heaped stock dependent breakable item through variational principle

Breakability rate of fragile item depends on the accumulated stress of heaped stock level. So breakablility rate can be considered as dependent parameter of stock variable. The unit production cost is a function of production rate and also dependent on raw material cost, development cost and wear-tear cost. The holding cost is assumed to be non-linear, dependent on time. Here optimal control problem for a fragile item under finite time horizon is considered. The profit function which consists of revenue, production and holding costs is formulated as a Fixed-Final Time and Fixed State System(cf. Naidu (2000)[8]) optimal control problem with finite time horizon. Here production rate is unknown and considered as a control variable and stock level is taken as a state variable. It is formulated to optimize the production rate so that total profit is maximum. As particular cases, models are evaluated with and without breakability. The models are solved by using conventional Variational Principle along with the non-linear optimization technique-Generalised Reduced Gradient Method (LINGO 12.0). The optimum results are illustrated both numerically and graphically. Some sensitivity analysis on breakability coefficient are presented. Copyright © 2020, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The regularization of small sub-constraint satisfaction problems

This paper describes a new approach on optimization of constraint satisfaction problems (CSPs) by means of substituting sub-CSPs with locally consistent regular membership constraints. The purpose of this approach is to reduce the number of fails in the resolution process, to improve the inferences made during search by the constraint solver by strengthening constraint propagation, and to maintain the level of propagation while reducing the cost of propagating the constraints. Our experimental results show improvements in terms of the resolution speed compared to the original CSPs and a competitiveness to the recent tabulation approach [1,12]. Besides, our approach can be realized in a preprocessing step, and therefore wouldn't collide with redundancy constraints or parallel computing if implemented. Copyright © 2019, The Authors. Dynamics of a predator-prey model with stage-structure on both species and anti-predator behavior

In this paper, we have formulated and studied a stage-structure predator-prey model. Here, we consider stage-structure on both prey as well as predator population which means that the prey population is divided into two sub populations such as juvenile prey and adult prey, on the other hand, the predator population is also divided into two sub populations such as juvenile predator and adult predator. It is assumed that only adult predator have the ability to predation and they consume both juvenile prey as well as adult prey. Here, it is also considered that the growth rate of juvenile prey depends upon the adult prey population i.e., the juvenile prey has no reproduction capability. Also, Holling II and Holling IV response function have been used for the consumption of juvenile prey and adult prey by adult predator respectively. It is also considered two types of factors such as anti-predator behavior and group defense to formulate our proposed model. Mathematically, we have analyzed the positivity and boundedness of solutions, existence of equilibria, stability of the proposed system around these equilibrium points and Hopf bifurcation of interior equilibrium point. Finally, some numerical simulations have been presented to validate our theoretical results. © 2017

In this paper, a delayed predator-prey model has been developed. Here, on the basis of infectious disease, the prey population has been divided into two sub-populations such as (i) susceptible prey and (ii) infected prey population. It is also assumed that a predator may consume both susceptible prey as well as infected prey. Also here, the Crowley-Martin type functional form has been taken to consume the prey (both susceptible and infected) population by the predator. It also considers two types of time delays in this model, (i) one is disease transmission delay when susceptible prey moves to infected prey stage and (ii) other is predator maturation delay. As the predator consumes both susceptible and infected prey, so we have incorporated the fact in this model that disease in the prey species also effect on predator population growth. Here, positivity and boundedness of solutions of our proposed model have been discussed. Then calculating different equilibrium points, the stability of the system have been discussed around those. In this paper, the Hopf bifurcation analysis has been done for non-delayed system with respect to the crowding coefficient. Finally, some numerical simulations have been presented to validate our theoretical findings. © 2018 Elsevier Inc.

This paper presents a new approach to predict the quality of polypropylene in petrochemical plants. The proposed approach constructs four different models, based on a large number of data collected from a renowned petrochemical plant in India and uses it to predict the polypropylene quality. The quality of polypropylene depends on the indices such as melt flow index and the xylene solubility of the product and the parameters controlling these two indices are hydrogen flow, donor flow, pressure and temperature of polymerization reactors. Mamdani Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Logic inference systems are formed for first time. The model outcomes are compared with the collected plant data and a sequence of sensitivity analysis elects the most suitable model from them. Some sensitivity analyses are provided using Fuzzy C-Means Clustering to the models. © 2015 The Authors

The SCIP Optimization Suite provides a collection of software packages for mathematical optimization centered around the constraint integer programming framework SCIP. The focus of this paper is on the role of the SCIP Optimization Suite in supporting research. SCIP's main design principles are discussed, followed by a presentation of the latest performance improvements and developments in version 8.0, which serve both as examples of SCIP's application as a research tool and as a platform for further developments. An overview of existing urban software mobile applications of the transport and economic direction is given. A model of a functional rationalizer of consumer behavior is being built. The software model of the functional rationalizer of consumer behavior (SM FRCB) was developed for the first time. PMFRCB allows the user to expand the number of his preferred needs (occupations, activities) during the daily cycle through intelligent recommendations. Also, SM FRCB allows you to optimize needs (activities, activities) at the cost and rate of their use. The SM FRCB is made in Python_3 using the libraries matplotlib, collections, numpy, pyplot, mplot3d. The analysis of consumer behavior before and after using the functional rationalizer model is carried out. The graphical results of a structural analysis of the costs of old and new consumer behavior, analysis of consumer behavior within the boundaries of the theory of possibilities and the model of transport behavior of a resident before and after applying the functional rationalizer model are presented. The prospects of further improving the SM FRCB are considered.
