In this paper we develop an algorithm in order to solve pseudo-Boolean nonlinear equations and inequalities. The solutions to these problems are given in the form of set families. The objective of the proposed algorithms is the minimisation of the family number. The computational experiment showed that the time needed to obtain a solution family is almost constant.

We extend static filtering in [8], a query optimization strategy based on seminaive evaluation on system graphs, so that it can efficiently handle stratified programs without extra overhead. The computation of static filters is formalized as a transformation so that the least fixed point of the transformation can be the static filters. The static filtering on stratified programs is shown to be complete with respect to the iterated fixed point semantics.

A syntactic error repair model is proposed, and is defined as a partial function from strings to sentences. The replacement of a substring of a string with a substring of a sentence is described by a repair pattern, which is roughly a pair of strings of grammar symbols. Automatic evaluation of drawing-to-CAD conversion performance is addressed. The generating model of artificial images in the domain of cadastral maps was built. The proposed model was close to the authentic drawings on the level of graphic primitives and on the level of map understanding. The shape of the parcel was characterized by the number of corners, line lengths and respective angles. The model of a house consists of 12 random variables, while the 13th variable describes the location of the house in a parcel. The parameters of probability distributions have been estimated from the sample of 115 parcels and 127 houses. The goodness-of-fit for all distributions was very high.< >
