This paper presents a cost and income forecast system that includes multiple linear regression models and business intelligence (BI) tools and is tailored particularly for fruit crop entrepreneurs. In the fruit crop farming sector, controlling expenses and projecting revenue may be extremely difficult for entrepreneurs. These challenges arise due to the complex and variable nature of agricultural production, market fluctuations, weather conditions, and other external factors. The major purpose is to deliver a comprehensive solution that improves decision-making by accurately estimating production costs and prospective income. Historical data on production costs, market prices, crop yields, weather conditions, and soil quality were gathered, pre-processed, and examined. Important factors were found through exploratory data analysis and included in the regression models. Variables include TSP fertilizer, NPK fertilizer, processed organic fertilizer, GML fertilizer, herbicides (basta), insecticides (Malathion 57), and output(kg). The income prediction model considers factors like crop yield, market price, and harvest quality. To guarantee their correctness and dependability, both models underwent extensive training and evaluation using measures like R-squared, mean absolute error (MAE), and root mean squared error (RMSE). Apart from predictive analytics, BI technologies were used to provide interactive data visualization, trend analysis, and reporting. These technologies help entrepreneurs get meaningful insights from data, improving strategic planning and informed decision-making. The solution provides a user-friendly interface via which business owners can enter essential data and receive real-time BI insights and projections. By providing fruit crop entrepreneurs with cutting-edge analytical tools and useful information, this integrated strategy hopes to improve financial results and promote sustainable business practices. © 2024 IEEE.

MV-DUO: multi-variate discrete unified optimization for psychological vital assessments

Psychological vital assessments are required for monitoring health conditions and observing body reactions toward diseases and medications. Wearable sensors play a vital role in sensing body vitals and presenting them as signals for computer-based analysis. The problem relies on the signal decoding due to its input stream that turns out to be discrete/ continuous. Therefore for addressing the above specific issue, this article introduces MV-DUO (Multi-Variate Discrete Unified Optimization) method. This method addresses the above problem from a multi-variate perspective by sensing differential signals across healthy and unhealthy conditions. The healthy and unhealthy conditions are trained using neural learning by augmenting/ ceasing external vital data. The unification is performed using single-point artificial ecosystem-based optimization for identifying discrete sequences collaborated with continuous signals. The single-point reference is grouped based on the maximum continuity fitness observed under various sensing intervals. In this process, the non-grouped sequences are identified as unhealthy or discrete for which additional detection training and classification are required. Considerably the changes between successive sensing intervals are used for variations detection from unified high-fitness groups. Those grouped instances are used for training new vital changes observed at distinct intervals. This improves detection accuracy under controlled errors. For the varying sensing intervals, the proposed method achieves 14.13% high accuracy, 8.29% high grouping rate, 10.77% less error, and 10.07% less detection time. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2024.

A Fully LTPS-TFT-Based Bi-Directional Biomedical Interface Circuit for Large-Area Healthcare Applications

This paper proposed a fully LTPS-TFT-based bi-directional biomedical pixel interface with integrated a high linearity stimulator and a high-performance bio-potential sensing front-end circuit to amplify and digitize biological signals for high robustness data transmission. All circuits are designed and manufactured under a 3-μm LTPS process. We demonstrated the experiment in saline using the stimulator circuit to simulate stimulation inside the organism, achieving stimulation with different average currents under different duty cycles. The proposed front-end circuit has a gain of 40 dB. The referred input voltage noise of the entire signal chain is 86.2 μV/√Hz, and the ENOB is 9.13 bits at an input of 0.5 mVPP. Simultaneously conducting statistical testing on 20 chips has achieved a 1.05 dB SNDR standard deviation. Finally, we use a function signal generator to simulate the input signals of ECoG, ECG, and EOG, then use front-end circuits to read and reconstruct them to demonstrate that the proposed pixel interface can correctly read common biomedical signals for healthcare applications. © 2022 IEEE.

Fingerprint authentication is the most sophisticated method of all biometric techniques and has been thoroughly verified through various applications. Fingerprint matching has been done using several fingerprint recognition techniques. The methods for matching fingerprints have changed significantly over time, but Euclidean distance is still widely used since it is efficient and straightforward. Euclidean distance is still used in minutiae-based fingerprint matching to produce accurate results. The computational geometry, image processing, and patter recognition fields all make substantial use of Euclidean distance, a fundamental distance matching approach. The purpose of this work is to highlight the importance of normalization in improving contrast, particularly in noisy fingerprint photographs where accuracy is critical. We analyzed how to make fingerprint matching more robots against a reference template by utilizing Euclidean distance between small spots. Collaborative Service Provisioning for UAV-Assisted Mobile Edge Computing

Unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)-assisted mobile edge computing(MEC), as a way of coping with delaysensitive and computing-intensive tasks, is considered to be a key technology to solving the challenges of terrestrial MEC networks. In this work, we study the problem of collaborative service provisioning(CSP) for UAV-assisted MEC. Specifically, taking into account the task latency and other resource constraints, this paper investigates how to minimize the total energy consumption of all terrestrial user equipments, by jointly optimizing computing resource allocation, task offloading, UAV trajectory, and service placement. The CSP problem is a non-convex mixed integer nonlinear programming problem, owing to the complex coupling of mixed integral variables and non-convexity of CSP. To address the CSP problem, this paper proposes an alternating optimization-based solution with the convergence guarantee as follows. We iteratively deal with the joint service placement and task offloading subproblem, and UAV movement trajectory subproblem, by branch and bound and successive convex approximation, respectively,while the closed form of the optimal computation resource allocation can be efficiently obtained. Extensive simulations validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm compared to three baselines.

This project focuses on the development of a website system designed to facilitate knowledge acquisition for students enrolled in the Kulliyyah of Information communication and Technology (KICT) at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). The aim is to alleviate the information overload experienced by new intake students during the Taaruf week (orientation week). Despite its establishment in 2010, KICT faces a persistent challenge where new students remain unaware of crucial system details, including rules, regulations, and academic matters. To address this issue, the project endeavors to provide a comprehensive platform enabling new students to access pertinent information and knowledge about KICT. An analysis of seven similar existing systems has been conducted, highlighting their main functions, advantages, and disadvantages. The system Development Life Cycle methodology has been selected for its practicality in guiding the project through the phases of Final Year Project (FYP) 1 and FYP2. Data collection involved surveying 30 KICT students to identify challenges faced by new students in obtaining the necessary information. Results underscore the urgent need for a technically guided application to enhance student understanding of KICT. The logical design of the app encompasses a Use Case Diagram, Use Case Narrative, Activity Diagram, Interface Flow, Low-Fidelity Design, and Interface Flow. The 'i-know' system has been developed using PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript, with connectivity to MySQL through phpMyAdmin for user authentication. The User Acceptance Test (UAT) was conducted during implementation, following beta testing. The paper concludes with insights into the system's effectiveness and its potential to address the identified challenges faced by new KICT students. © 2024 IEEE.

Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a cancerous condition that affects the bone marrow and blood. It is a fast developing illness that, if not identified and treated as soon as possible, could be fatal. ALL is often identified by looking at blood and bone marrow smears under a microscope. Leukemia can be detected and classified using detailed cytochemical tests. However, these procedures are expensive, time-consuming, and dependent on the knowledge and skills of the specialists involved. Using image processing techniques that examine microscopic blood smear images to search for the leukemic cells, leukemia can be detected. These methods are simple, quick, cost-effective, and unaffected by the judgments of experts. The suggested study describes a computer-aided diagnosis method that uses deep convolutional neural networks (CNNs) that have already been trained to compare leukemia images to normal images. The public dataset ALL-IDB 2 was used for the proposed research. The study uses the pre-trained model DenseNet-201 for performing the classification. With the DenseNet201 pre-trained networks employed in the study for the ALL_IDB2 dataset, a classification accuracy of 94.6% is achieved. In all of the classifications carried out, optimization strategies such as cross-validation, fine-tuning, and real-time augmentation are also compared. Also use Pre-trained series models like ResNet-50, VGG-19, Inceptionv3, MobileNet-v2, Xceptionv3, and VGG-16 for performing the comparison. The experimental result gives an improvement in accuracy (17.76, 10.6, and 13.2%) in comparison to the other approaches namely, residual neural network, customized combined CNN, and conVNet neural network, respectively. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.
