IIF(Indirect Immune Florescence)has gained much attention recently due to its importance in medical *** primary purpose of this work is to highlight a step-by-step methodology for detecting autoimmune *** use of IIF for detecting autoimmune diseases is widespread in different medical *** 80 different types of autoimmune diseases have existed in various body *** IIF has been used for image classification in both ways,manually and by using the computer-Aided Detection(CAD)*** data scientists conducted various research works using an automatic CAD system with low *** diseases in the human body can be detected with the help of Transfer Learning(TL),an advanced Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)*** baseline paper applied the manual classification to the MIVIA dataset of Human Epithelial cells(HEP)type II cells and the Sub Class Discriminant(SDA)analysis technique used to detect autoimmune *** technique yielded an accuracy of up to 90.03%,which was not reliable for detecting autoimmune disease in the mitotic cells of the *** the current research,the work has been performed on the MIVIA data set of HEP type II cells by using four well-known models of *** augmentation and normalization have been applied to the dataset to overcome the problem of overfitting and are also used to improve the performance of TL *** models are named Inception V3,Dens Net 121,VGG-16,and Mobile Net,and their performance can be calculated through parameters of the confusion matrix(accuracy,precision,recall,and F1 measures).The results show that the accuracy value of VGG-16 is 78.00%,Inception V3 is 92.00%,Dense Net 121 is 95.00%,and Mobile Net shows 88.00%accuracy,***,DenseNet-121 shows the highest performance with suitable analysis of autoimmune *** overall performance highlighted that TL is a suitable and enhanced technique compared to its ***,the proposed technique is used

Safety-certified Receding-horizon Motion Planning and Containment Control of Autonomous Surface Vehicles via Neurodynamic Optimization

This paper addresses the safety-certified motion planning and containment control of under-actuated autonomous surface vehicles subject to model uncertainties, external disturbances, and input constraints in the presence of stationary and moving obstacles. A three-level modular control architecture is proposed with a trajectory generation module at its planning level, an adaptive guidance module at its guidance level, and a kinetic control module at its control level. Specifically, at the planning level, a safety-certified containment trajectory generator is designed to generate safe trajectories over a rolling time window to achieve containment formation and collision avoidance with neighboring ASVs, stationary obstacles, and moving obstacles via dynamic control barrier functions and twotimescale neurodynamic optimization models. At the guidance level, an adaptive line-of-sight guidance law is developed based on a finite-time predictor to estimate unknown sideslip angles and generate guidance commands. At the control level, an optimal control law is designed based on finite-time neural predictors and control Lyapunov functions for the autonomous surface vehicle with input constraints to follow the desired guidance commands. The effectiveness and characteristics of the proposed method are demonstrated via simulations and hardware-in-theloop experiments for cooperative exploration. IEEE

We propose an approach for the early detection of COVID-19 and other related lung diseases using artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning-based methods. The proposed approach involves utilizing transfer learning over convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for the classification of chest X-ray images as normal or COVID-19 positive. To address the limited availability of X-ray images, we employed data augmentation techniques to expand the dataset size and enhance our model's performance on unseen data. We used variations of four pre-trained models: DenseNet, Inception, ResNet, and VGG, and found that DenseNet169 demonstrated the best performance with a validation accuracy of 100%. © 2024 IEEE.

This research work presents a novel language intervention system for Tamil-speaking children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The system satisfies the considerable requirement for tools aimed at one more section of population that has actually been forgotten by mainstream economics. Traditional language learning applications often lack specificity for diverse linguistic contexts, focusing on general learning rather than the unique challenges faced by ASD children. The proposed solution leverages Deep Learning (DL) modules to transform partial spoken Tamil words into complete, child-friendly vocabulary. This system goes beyond simple word completion;it incorporates interactive features to engage children with ASD and promote active learning. Preliminary evaluations yielded promising results, suggesting the system's potential in enhancing communication skills among Tamil-speaking children with ASD. This paper research study reviews the limitations of existing language learning tools and the rationale behind employing a DL-based approach. We discuss the specific DL architecture (e.g., Recurrent Neural Networks) envisioned for the system and how it will be trained on a corpus of Tamil speech data. This study also investigate the potential advantages beyond vocabulary learning, such as improved sentence formulation and the development of practical language abilities. Future ambitions include broadening the system's scope to include more languages, refining the DL model through ongoing training with enriched datasets, and conducting extensive user research with varied ASD populations. Validation across demographics is critical to ensuring the system's efficiency and generality. This research has the potential to bridge the language acquisition gap for Tamil-speaking children with ASD, empowering them to develop crucial communication skills and fostering their social inclusion. © 2024 IEEE.

Promotional Short Message Service (SMS) messages, which provide frequent updates about deals and discounts to consumers, are crucial in developing countries like Sri Lanka, as they help alleviate financial pressure during economic crises. However, poor practices by the brands, SMS technology limitations and human memory limitations challenge the ability of consumers to make effective use of this facility. As a solution, this project aimed to develop an Android application to organize and enhance the readability of promotional messages, while also providing mechanisms to prevent users from forgetting promotions. These objectives were achieved by creating a Kotlin app that displays promotional information in a date-sorted weekly dashboard, offers deal-expiration reminders, and optimizes message content for readability. The system utilizes a novel workflow/pipeline combining a Natural Language Processing (NLP) model with Named Entity Recognition (NER) capabilities, Regular Expressions and custom logic, to understand the context of and extract the crucial information from the promotional messages. User-acceptance testing carried out demonstrates positive results, reducing traditional access times to promotions of 8-10 seconds to approximately 2 seconds through this application. Additionally, user-testers reported multiple occurrences of the reminders feature ensuring that promotions weren't forgotten before use. © 2024 IEEE.

A Graph-Assisted Digital-Twin-Driven Multiagent Shared Offloading for Internet of Vehicles

Vehicular edge computing (VEC) allows vehicles to process part of the tasks locally at the network edge while offloading the rest of the tasks to a centralized cloud server for processing. A massive volume of tasks generated by the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) leads to buffer overflow that causes higher latency. Elevating latency, in turn, can increase network energy consumption. Both higher latency and energy consumption lead to a degradation of network performance. Therefore, VEC design requires a balance between latency and energy consumption tradeoff. To reduce overwhelming amount of offloading to edge servers, a cooperative cluster-based shared offloading strategy has been proposed in this work. We use digital twin technology in VEC for managing and adapting to environmental dynamic changes. Then, we leverage Lyapunov (Ly) optimization to transform the stochastic offloading problem into a more manageable deterministic form. Finally, we present a decentralized coordination graph (CG)-driven Ly-based multiagent deep deterministic policy gradient (CG-LyMADDPG) algorithm that trains agents toward energy efficient optimal offloading policy while maintaining queue stability at a maximum delay constraint. The experimental result shows that the proposed learning significantly outperforms the baseline algorithms for energy savings while maintain queue stability. © 2014 IEEE.

The increasing popularity of Graph-based neural network architectures plays a pivotal role in providing promising results in applications, viz., Friendship networks, Co-authorship networks, Product recommendations, etc. Many machine learning tasks can be addressed when dealing with graph representation, i.e., graph classification, node classification, link prediction, graph embedding, etc. The traditional rule-based methods have many drawbacks in comparison to graph representation learning, such as it requires manual feature engineering and struggles with unseen cases (generalizability), etc., in the case of rule-based methods. At the same time, graph representation learning overcomes those issues profoundly. The advent of graph-based deep neural network architectures inspired us to complete a graph classification problem to explore clusters of researchers who worked together in academic publications. We built the model by using a graph convolutional network to solve a multi-classification problem. We conducted a comparative study to check the efficacy of graph representation learning by GCNs on the DBLP dataset. Inductive Lottery Ticket Learning for Graph Neural Networks

Graph neural networks (GNNs) have gained increasing popularity, while usually suffering from unaffordable computations for real-world large-scale applications. Hence, pruning GNNs is of great need but largely unexplored. The recent work Unified GNN Sparsification (UGS) studies lottery ticket learning for GNNs, aiming to find a subset of model parameters and graph structures that can best maintain the GNN performance. However, it is tailed for the transductive setting, failing to generalize to unseen graphs, which are common in inductive tasks like graph classification. In this work, we propose a simple and effective learning paradigm, Inductive Co-Pruning of GNNs (ICPG), to endow graph lottery tickets with inductive pruning capacity. To prune the input graphs, we design a predictive model to generate importance scores for each edge based on the input. To prune the model parameters, it views the weight’s magnitude as their importance scores. Then we design an iterative co-pruning strategy to trim the graph edges and GNN weights based on their importance scores. Although it might be strikingly simple, ICPG surpasses the existing pruning method and can be universally applicable in both inductive and transductive learning settings. On 10 graph-classification and two node-classification benchmarks, ICPG achieves the same performance level with 14.26%–43.12% sparsity for graphs and 48.80%–91.41% sparsity for the GNN model.

Researchers have recently created several deep learning strategies for various tasks, and facial recognition has made remarkable progress in employing these techniques. Face recognition is a noncontact, nonobligatory, acceptable, and harmonious biometric recognition method with a promising national and social security future. The purpose of this paper is to improve the existing face recognition algorithm, investigate extensive data-driven face recognition methods, and propose a unique automated face recognition methodology based on generative adversarial networks (GANs) and the center symmetric multivariable local binary pattern (CS-MLBP). To begin, this paper employs the center symmetric multivariant local binary pattern (CS-MLBP) algorithm to extract the texture features of the face, addressing the issue that C2DPCA (column-based two-dimensional principle component analysis) does an excellent job of removing the global characteristics of the face but struggles to process the local features of the face under large samples. The extracted texture features are combined with the international features retrieved using C2DPCA to generate a multifeatured face. The proposed method, GAN-CS-MLBP, syndicates the power of GAN with the robustness of CS-MLBP, resulting in an accurate and efficient face recognition system. Deep learning algorithms, mainly neural networks, automatically extract discriminative properties from facial images. The learned features capture low-level information and high-level meanings, permitting the model to distinguish among dissimilar persons more successfully. To assess the proposed technique’s GAN-CS-MLBP performance, extensive experiments are performed on benchmark face recognition datasets such as LFW, YTF, and CASIA-WebFace. Giving to the findings, our method exceeds state-of-the-art facial recognition systems in terms of recognition accuracy and resilience. Video forgery is one of the most serious problems affecting the credibility and reliability of video content. Therefore, detecting video forgery presents a major challenge for researchers due to the diversity of forgery types, the modernity of the programs used in forgery operations, and the abundance of information and content present in videos. The seriousness of this issue arises from the widespread use of videos in vital fields that require very high accuracy with no room for doubt or error, such as courtrooms, journalism, and others. Copy-move forgery is one of the most common and dangerous types of video forgery because of the difficulty in identifying it with the naked eye and the great diversity of forgery techniques involved in this particular type. One of the biggest challenges researchers have faced in the past is the complexity of the steps required to detect forgery in videos, leading to significant computational complexity and time consumption. The proposed method also aims to achieve better results than previous methods while reducing computational operations. Ultimately, forgery is detected with great efficiency. Compared to previous methods used for detecting copy-move forgery in the Rewind dataset, the proposed method achieves the highest F1, reaching 0.86, with a significant difference of 0.13 compared to the best result of the previous methods. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2025.
