Bitcoin is the leading cryptocurrency with the highest market value among digital currencies. Therefore, predicting the value of Bitcoin can help to understand the entire cryptocurrency market. However, Bitcoin has had a lot of price fluctuations since its inception. In this paper, we are going to forecast the price of Bitcoin using news headline analysis, technical analysis indicators, and historical financial data. The news headlines used in this article are scraped from the Cointelegraph news website, which contains 3988 news headlines related to Bitcoin between 2/7/2020 and 3/8/2021. A transformer pre-trained model on cryptocurrency-related texts called CryptoBERT, which is a BERT-based sentiment analysis model, has been used to analyze the textual data. Also, a novel hybrid 2DCNN-GRU deep learning model has been used to predict the price. To adjust the parameters of this model, a parameter tuning method based on orthogonal arrays called the Taguchi method has been employed. Finally, to examine the proposed model's efficiency, the obtained results have been compared with other deep learning models from the literature review that used text data to predict bitcoin prices. The results show that this model outperformed other models in terms of MAE criterion, while in the other three criteria, namely MSE, RMSE and MAPE, it still demonstrated good results. © 2024 IEEE.

An accurate estimation of future stock prices can help investors maximize their profits. The current advancements in the area of artificial intelligence (AI) have proven prevalent in the financial sector. Besides, stock market prediction is difficult owing to the considerable volatility and unpredictability induced by numerous factors. Recent approaches have considered fundamental, technical, or macroeconomic variables to find hidden complex patterns in financial data. At the macro level, there exists a spillover effect between stock pairs that can explain the variance present in the data and boost the prediction performance. To address this interconnectedness defined by intrasector stocks, we propose a hybrid relational approach to predict the future price of stocks in the American, Indian, and Korean economies. We collected market data of large-, mid-, and small-capitalization peer companies in the same industry as the target firm, considering them as relational features. To ensure efficient feature selection, we have utilized a data-driven approach, i.e., random forest feature permutation (RF2P), to remove noise and instability. A hybrid prediction module consisting of temporal convolution and linear model (TCLM) is proposed that considers irregularities and linear trend components of the financial data. We found that RF2P-TCLM gave the superior performance. To demonstrate the real-world applicability of our approach in terms of profitability, we created a trading method based on the predicted results. This technique generates a higher profit than the existing approaches. © 2024 IEEE.

Encryption of a plaintext involves a secret key. The secret key of classical cryptosystems can be successfully determined by utilizing metaheuristic techniques. Monoalphabetic cryptosystem is one of the famous classical cryptosystems. In this paper, we determine the secret key of the monoalphabetic cryptosystem using a recently proposed metaheuristic technique, namely, red deer algorithm. The existing red deer algorithm framework has been tailored to solve the above considered problem. Performance of the developed red deer algorithm is compared with the following metaheuristic techniques: tabu search, genetic algorithm, and cuckoo search using three criteria, namely, effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy. The results obtained show that the proposed red deer algorithm can compete with all the above three algorithms with respect to all the criteria. This signifies the importance of the proposed red deer algorithm is that it can be utilized to solve the similar problems effectively, efficiently, and with more accuracy. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Twitter plays an important role in understanding the consumer sentiment about the products. The advanced analytics and Natural Language Processing (NLP) are used to extract actionable insights from this data and useful for a business to improve features and address issues on time for better customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. Most of the current models suffer from a lack of effective ways to handle subtle sentiment analysis because of a lack of contextual understanding and proper feature extraction. Most traditional models cannot combine and optimize features that lead to obtaining sentiments. This leads to overfitting and problems caused by local minima. The proposed Emotion-Enhanced BERT (EE-BERT) model is an extension of the standard BERT to learn contextual embeddings in user sentiment. In this work, data preprocessing includes text cleaning, tokenization, dealing with emojis and emoticons, and lemmatization with the best quality data. The proposed work is basically a dual-stream architecture extended with butterfly optimizer. First, the advanced tokenization and semantic understanding techniques is used for extracting textual features. Second, the emotion-enhanced features extracted through emotion-hash vectorization to enhance the model's contextual awareness in social media data. This provides a unified framework that combines the feature extraction methods to enhance the accuracy in sentiment analysis. It demonstrated with an impressive accuracy of 98.2% on sentiment in posts and comments with 0.15 losses. The proposed work is free from overfitting and local minima in product quality enhancement. © 2024 IEEE.

Prediction sets capture uncertainty by predicting sets of labels rather than individual labels, enabling downstream decisions to conservatively account for all plausible outcomes. Conformal inference algorithms construct prediction sets guaranteed to contain the true label with high probability. These guarantees fail to hold in the face of distribution shift, which is precisely when reliable uncertainty quantification can be most useful. We propose a novel algorithm for constructing prediction sets with PAC guarantees in the label shift setting, where the probabilities of labels can differ between the source and target distributions. Our algorithm relies on constructing confidence intervals for importance weights by propagating uncertainty through a Gaussian elimination algorithm. We evaluate our approach on four datasets: the CIFAR-10 and ChestX-Ray image datasets, the tabular CDC Heart dataset, and the AGNews text dataset. Our algorithm satisfies the PAC guarantee while producing smaller prediction set sizes compared to several baselines. © 2024 12th International Conference on Learning Representations, ICLR 2024. Diabetes prediction is crucial for early intervention and personalized treatment. This study uses a multimodal strategy, including prediction algorithms, downsampling, feature engineering, exploratory data analysis (EDA), cross-validation, and classification techniques. EDA is used to understand diabetes-specific features, while downsampling ensures fair representation of instances with and without diabetes. Classification algorithms categorize people into appropriate diabetes risk groups using machine learning. Cross-validation evaluates predictive models in various data scenarios. The most popular method for identifying people from past signatures is through signatures. By using a TensorFlow model which is a deep learning algorithm, we created a new system to verify signatures on bank checks and other important documents. The main point is that a signature plays a crucial role in banking because it is necessary for money withdrawals. In banks there are no efficient systems to check if a signature is real or fake as it is the most frequently used bio-metric method to verify a person's identity. This can lead to bank fraud. The Project will make it easier to tell whether a signature is genuine or not. Online and offline verification are the two methods of verification. We're going to use various geometric measurements to accomplish offline verification. Python libraries were employed in this case. In the testing phase the model's performance is evaluated. To protect the integrity and legitimacy of handwritten signatures, signature forgery detection is an essential responsi-bility. The capacity to recognize forged signatures with accuracy has grown more important as a result of the rise in digital transactions and the growing reliance on electronic documents. The act of duplicating or copying another person's signature with the purpose to deceive or gain illegal access is known as signature forging. Manually spotting these forgeries can be difficult because expert forgers are adept at closely imitating the visual style and traits of real signatures. Therefore, there has been a lot of interest in the development of automated methods and algorithms to identify fake signatures. © 2024 IEEE.

At the doctoral level in the field of computer science, the domain of literature plagiarism detection encompasses numerous plagiarism detection algorithms, but relatively fewer have focused on methods specifically designed for topic-based plagiarism detection. To address this research gap, this paper introduces a text semantic matching algorithm based on contrastive learning and adversarial training, which we have named 'Comparative Adversarial Training (CAT).' Specifically, during the fine-tuning process, we generate affirmative and negative sentences using paper titles and keywords and optimize the model's performance through contrastive learning. Simultaneously, we generate adversarial samples by perturbing the word embedding matrix of the model and then employ these adversarial samples for adversarial training. Through experiments conducted on our proprietary internal dataset, the fine-tuned BERT model exhibited an average performance improvement of 3.71% compared to the baseline BERT model. Similarly, the fine-tuned RoBERTa model demonstrated a performance enhancement of 3.18% relative to the RoBERTa baseline model. Based on these experimental results, our algorithm's effectiveness has been thoroughly validated. © 2024 IEEE.

A theoretical methodology is suggested for finding the malaria parasites’presence with the help of an intelligent hyper-parameter tuned Deep Learning(DL)based malaria parasite detection and classification(HPTDL-MPDC)in the smear images of human peripheral *** existing approaches fail to predict the malaria parasitic features and reduce the prediction *** trained model initiated in the proposed system for classifying peripheral blood smear images into the non-parasite or parasite classes using the available online *** Adagrad optimizer is stacked with the suggested pre-trained Deep Neural Network(DNN)with the help of the contrastive divergence method to *** features are extracted from the images in the proposed system to train the DNN for initializing the visible *** smear images show the concatenated feature to be utilized as the feature vector in the proposed ***,hyper-parameters are used to fine-tune DNN to calculate the class labels’*** suggested system outperforms more modern methodologies with an accuracy of 91%,precision of 89%,recall of 93%and F1-score of 91%.The HPTDL-MPDC has the primary application in detecting the parasite of malaria in the smear images of human peripheral blood.

The Gayo language has been used by the Gayo community for approximately 7,500 years, but its usage has been continuously declining, and its digital documentation is minimal. To address this challenge, various efforts are necessary to document, preserve, and develop the Gayo language to keep it relevant for future generations. Machine translation is an automated process that converts text or speech from one language to another using computer algorithms without involving human translators. Machine translation can be utilized to revitalize regional languages through its documentation function. This research conducts an experiment by training a Neural Machine Translation (NMT) model using the OpenNMT framework and transformer architecture to translate Indonesian into Gayo. A parallel corpus was collected from the Indonesian-Gayo II Dictionary and through preprocessing steps, including case folding and punctuation removal. The dataset was divided into three parts: training data, validation data, and test data. data augmentation was performed to increase the variation and size of the training dataset. The experimental results showed an accuracy rate of 90% for the augmented training data, with a BLEU score of 79.90. This research is an initial step in developing an NMT model for the Gayo language. The model's prediction results indicate high accuracy when the input sentences match the corpus, but are less accurate if the input sentences contain words not present in the corpus. © 2024 IEEE.
