Today more people use social media to express their opinion and their emotions. There are many types of text in social media including text that convey a tendency to be depressed or suicidal. We use sentiment analysis to detect suicidal texts, because if detected, it could save many lives and many families. In this research, we have an objective to explore a method that is both high performance and less time-using. We design experiments that have 30 combinations between five machine learning models with six feature engineering methods. All experiments use accuracy and total time for model generation as metrics. We use deep neural networks with glove embedding as a comparator because this combination performed well in this dataset on Kaggle competition. From the experimental results, we find that the suitable combination that generates fast and has good accuracy is Random Forest with TF-IDF with 0.897 and 145 seconds. © 2023 IEEE.

In very recent years more attention has been placed on probing the role of pre-training data in Large Language Models (LLMs) downstream behaviour. Despite the importance, there is no public tool that supports such analysis of pre-training corpora at large scale. To help research in this space, we launch Koala, a searchable index over large pretraining corpora using lossless compressed suffix arrays with highly efficient compression rate and search support. In its first release we index the public proportion of OPT 175B, GPT-3, GPT-Neo, GPT-Neo, LLaMA, BERT, ELECTRA, RoBERTA, XLNet pre-training corpora. Koala provides a framework to do forensic analysis on the current and future benchmarks as well as to assess the degree of memorization in the output from the LLMs. Koala is available for public use at https://***/. © 2023 Association for Computational Linguistics.

In today's world, email is used widely for communication purposes globally. Email spam are unwanted emails that are sent to many recipients receivers. It is usually used for commercial purposes More likely spam enail is also used for malicious attempts to gain access to receiver computer/device. This article presents a novel hybrid architecture for spam emails filtering using mails content-based approach. For filtering, Word2Vec (W2V) word embedding procedure is used for feature selection with bio-inspired 'Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO)' and 'Support Vector Machine (SVM)' combined with 'Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)'. Moreover, our proposed hybrid architecture is simulated in open-source tool and the performance is evaluated using standard confusion matrix. Afterw ards, the results are compared with various previous algorithms/models. Experimental results show that our proposed hybrid scheme enhances detection accuracy of spam emails. © 2024 IEEE.

Image captioning has gained increasing attention in recent *** characteristics found in input images play a crucial role in generating high-quality *** studies have used visual attention mechanisms to dynamically focus on localized regions of the input image,improving the effectiveness of identifying relevant image regions at each step of caption ***,providing image captioning models with the capability of selecting the most relevant visual features from the input image and attending to them can significantly improve the utilization of these ***,this leads to enhanced captioning network *** light of this,we present an image captioning framework that efficiently exploits the extracted representations of the *** framework comprises three key components:the Visual Feature Detector module(VFD),the Visual Feature Visual Attention module(VFVA),and the language *** VFD module is responsible for detecting a subset of the most pertinent features from the local visual features,creating an updated visual features ***,the VFVA directs its attention to the visual features matrix generated by the VFD,resulting in an updated context vector employed by the language model to generate an informative *** the VFD and VFVA modules introduces an additional layer of processing for the visual features,thereby contributing to enhancing the image captioning model’s *** the MS-COCO dataset,our experiments show that the proposed framework competes well with state-of-the-art methods,effectively leveraging visual representations to improve *** implementation code can be found here:https://***/althobhani/VFDICM(accessed on 30 July 2024).

The main objective of this project is to create a user-friendly intelligent chatbot for Medical guidance and support. This application has been classified into two different modes based on user preference, those are Online and Offline modes of interaction. In the Online mode of interaction, there is no need for any automation, there will be a real person at the other end answering user queries. Users can even ask for untrained data and will receive instant replies. This application is similar to a normal chat application, but the main disadvantage is that a real person is needed at the other end at all times. In the Offline mode of conversation which is entirely automated the user will be performing an interaction with the chatbot itself. The chatbot must consist of data sets and trained data collection, in this process there is no need for any real person, the chatbot itself will reply instantly based on the trained data. The chatbot will be more accurate when a large number of data is trained. This application is compatible with working in various browsers and varied networks. The Admin of the application plays a significant role. Admin can access all the given functions and is responsible for data training. data training plays a vital role in this application, the trained data will be used by the chatbot while answering user queries i.e. Offline mode. This chatbot application can be accessed by several users at the same time, where IP address plays the main role. The main function of this application is that user can post their corresponding queries and the application will be providing relevant information based on queries. The Latest Modern chatbots are used in applications where simple interaction is needed, for example, service and marketing technology to provide answers such as products, services, and consultancy. If the customer's queries don't match with the trained data sets, the customer will be escalated to manual interaction i.e. Online mode. © 2024 IE

According to research by the world health organization (WHO), approximately 0.63% of children are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). ASD commonly emerges during childhood and persists through adolescence and adulthood. Early detection of ASD is crucial as it can lead to effective interventions and improved outcomes. Machine learning and deep learning techniques have gained significant recognition for their efficacy in various fields including biomedicine and medicine. These models offer valuable tools for data interpretation in clinical diagnostics and decision-making processes. Consequently, researchers emphasize the utility of both machine learning and deep learning methods for disease screening. This study aims to leverage both machine learning and deep learning techniques to classify ASD cases using a dataset sourced from the UCI repository. The dataset encompasses pediatric cases. The classification task employed k-nearest neighbors' algorithm (k-NN), support vector machine (SVM), and convolutional neural network (CNN). Among these, CNN outperformed SVM and k-NN, achieving a remarkable accuracy of 99.71%. © 2023 IEEE.

Bacteria are microscopic organisms that can be found in many environments. They are abundant and have many roles in our life. Studying bacteria is essential so that we can identify the bacteria that are needed for many industrial applications. However, the main problem is that majority of the bacteria are unculturable, hampering the exploration of bacteria from different environments. Metagenomics approach which employs Next Generation Sequencing technology could help study bacteria by utilizing 16S rRNA marker gene. This study aims to demonstrate data mining and bioinformatics approaches to analyze 16S rRNA sequencing data. The raw sequencing data of 16S rRNA was collected from biological database. Then, the data were trimmed, denoised, and clustered to generate Amplicon Sequence Variants (ASVs). Diversity (alpha and beta) and taxonomic analyses were then conducted to elucidate the bacterial diversity and taxonomic profile of ASVs. The results of this work showed that Shannon and PD indices in China's hot spring were higher than Singapore and the USA. Furthermore, a significant difference was observed in the PD index. The unweighted UniFrac distance also showed there was a significant difference of the bacterial communities between the three locations. In addition, the taxonomic investigation unveiled prevalent bacterial groups in the ecosystem, namely Proteobacteria, Chloroflexi, Cyanobacteria, and Crenarchaeota. The research outcomes have the potential to serve as a foundational resource for subsequent bacterial metagenomic research, particularly the hot spring environment. © 2023 IEEE.

With the development of smart electricity technology and demand response, optimization of household electricity consumption behavior has become an important research element for energy saving in residential buildings. In the study of smart electricity consumption in households, the differences in users’ lifestyles and their preferences for the use of various appliances can have a great impact on the results. And many existing methods need to rely on users’ awareness, which does not meet the popular demand. In this paper, we propose a new method for residential load scheduling that takes into account the load characteristics of appliances and electricity consumption habits. By analyzing the household electricity consumption data set and mining the personalized needs and us-age preferences of this user for various appliances, we establish an optimization model for electricity consumption behavior that combines the minimization of electricity expenses and user comfort. Finally, an improved artificial bee colony algorithm is proposed for solving the optimization model and generating a personalized dispatching strategy combined with real-time electricity pricing (RTEP) tariff. The proposed improved artificial swarm algorithm is compared with other classical algorithms, including GA, PSO, ABC, and QABC, and the analysis of cases shows that the model can effectively reduce the electricity consumption cost and ensure the customer satisfaction, and the proposed improved ABC-based algorithm outperforms other algorithms in terms of cost and user comfort. © 2023, Journal of Network Intelligence.

The Sign Language Recognition System has been designed to capture video input, process it to detect hand gestures, and translate these gestures into readable text. The project consists of several key components and steps: Video Processing: Using OpenCV, the system captures frames from the video input. MediaPipe processes these frames to detect and track hand landmarks in real time. OpenCV capabilities allow for efficient frame extraction and basic image processing tasks such as resizing and normalization. Hand Detection and Tracking: MediaPipe pre-trained models identify and track hand movements within the video frames. The accurate detection and tracking of the hand movements are critical for the subsequent recognition of the sign language gestures. Sign Language Recognition: The core system is the deep learning model, trained using the TensorFlow and Keras on a dataset of sign language gestures. The model learns to classify the detected hand movements into corresponding sign language characters or words. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are typically used for task due to their effectiveness in image recognition tasks. Text Display: Once the system recognizes the signs, it converts them into text and displays the output. This can be done through a console output or a graphical user interface (GUI) built with Tkinter. The GUI provides a user friendly experience, allowing users to see the translated text in real-time. © 2025 IEEE.

Analysis and reaction to natural disasters have made extensive use of deep learning methods using semantic segmentation networks. These implementations’ foundation is based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs), which are capable of precisely identifying and locating the relevant areas of interest within satellite imagery or other types of remote sensing data. This helps with rescue planning, restoration efforts, and disaster evaluation. Difficulties in the provision of healthcare services, due to natural disasters, are made worse by the existing problems prevalent in most healthcare systems. The aim of this research is to propose a novel technique in climate change–based disaster management with their public healthcare analysis using cloud computing with deep learning techniques. In this research, the cloud network has been used in LiDAR image collection for climate change–based disaster-struck regions and their public healthcare analysis. This collected image has been classified and optimized using a deep Markov Q-transfer adversarial neural network with binary grey whale swarm optimization. Experimental analysis has been carried out for various disaster management–based public healthcare datasets in terms of classification accuracy, specificity, NSE, sensitivity, and F-1 score. The proposed technique attained a classification accuracy of 97%, F-1 score of 94%, specificity of 96%, sensitivity of 95%, and NSE of 57%. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.
