An additional portable charging station system for electric vehicles (EV) is proposed. The classification of electric vehicles is presented and the implementation of a portable charging station for electric cars is described. A photovoltaic system design is considered, including photovoltaic power generation module (PVPGM) and power transmission module design, system modelling and analysis, including solar radiation analysis, photovoltaic power generation analysis, and wireless power transmission analysis. The research method is presented and an innovative system is designed, which will be an additional portable charging station for an electric car. This system will use a photovoltaic power generation module for charging electric vehicles in combination with a WPT and a supercapacitor. A system consisting of two main parts is obtained: the PVPGM and the power transmission module. The developed system will be able to charge an electric car using solar energy. A mathematical model of solar cells for effective use in an innovative system is given. Relevant conclusions and results were obtained. © 2023 IEEE.

The authors proposed to monitor the relative quality indicators by the immittance method. Baseline values are stored in a code controlled measure of immittance. Different comparison of basic and controlled indicators is realized. The four wired connections of the monitored object provide invariance to the influence of non-informative parameters of communication lines. In the case of minor changes in the controlled value, the result can be obtained during one cycle of conversion. The analysis of errors showed that the metrological properties are determined only by the parameters of sample code controlled measure of immittance. It is proved that the possibility of implementing remote calibration exists in real time for controlled channels. To do this, a multifaceted measure of imitation must be performed as a portable. © 2022 IEEE.

The paper presents a study of the effectiveness of software from the point of view of minimizing the energy consumption of microprocessor devices. In this case, the programming of the microcontroller in various programming languages for arithmetic operations, as well as data output through the port, is considered. In the course of the tests, the peculiarities of the application of this or that program and their operation, taking into account the energy saving of the microcontroller, are noted. © 2024 IEEE.

A temperature control information system has been developed to ensure the production of high-quality granules with low moisture content. The study of the granulation and dehydration process, the main factors influencing the production of quality fertilizers, namely: temperature of heating air, temperature of granules, moisture content of granules, viscosity of the binder and its concentration. Based on the mathematical model, the transfer function of the granulator was obtained with the help of the Matlab software package, information control systems based on Pi and PiD controllers were developed, which should output and maintain the temperature of the granules at a given level. Their comparison is made to determine the system that better copes with the task. it is recommended to use a information control system with a PiD regulator in the production, because it allows to reduce the consumption of gas used during the dehydration process, due to the faster achievement of the set temperature of the granules. © 2021 iEEE.

Authors have developed a method of control over one of the main technological processes of manufacturing foil solar panels, i.e., burning tracks in the layers of semiconductor material and insulation. The proposed method is based on neural networks trained directly on the control object. This eliminates the laborious process of identifying the parameters of the control object mathematical model and the impact of its error on the training outcomes. To clarify the conditions for optimizing a certain law for generating the control action by neural networks various laws of control have been simulated. It's established that laws of control can be changed according to the current situation of the control object. Simulation outcomes proofed that the most efficient is the system with the PI- controller. © 2020 IEEE.

Comparisons of Two Types of Nonphysician Providers Using Episode Based Data

He graduated from McGill University Montreal. He has been involved in research on the use of telecommunications technology in rurallremote areas since 1974 and was the principal investigator of a project which installed and evaluated a “slow-scan” system in Northern Ontario in 1977. His publications on telemedicine have appeared in Health Services Research the Canadian Medical Assocktion Journal the Joumd of Medical Education Medical Education and Tekcommunications Policy. He is the COauthor of the text Evaluating Telecommunications Technology in Medicine. His present research interests include the use of “decision analysis” techniques for rural/remote health care analysis and planning CHRIS HIGGINS Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration the University of Western Ontario London Ontario Canada. His research interests include computerized performance monitoring telecommuting office automation and technological innovation. He has published in several journals including The Communications of the ACM ACM Transactions on Office Information Systems Social Networks Ofice Technology and People and Computer Networks. He is also a co-author of a book titled Euduating Telecommunications Technology in Medicine.

Using episode based data, analysis of those patients with diagnoses of upper respiratory infection or laceration seen in a remote setting revealed that the medical care given by nurse practitioners and minimally trained indigenous health aides was comparable in relation to management and outcome. Specifically, the average number of visits per episode, the length of episodes and the percentage of patients who subsequently developed complications were similar for the nurses and the health aides. Although both the nurses and the health aides managed over 90 percent of the patients independently, the health aides were more likely to communicate, refer or transfer the patient to the care of another provider. These findings, if applicable to medical problems in general, imply that nonphysician providers in a remote setting can give quality care and can be trained to manage conditions appropriately, if the needed' back‐up is available. He is a member of the technical staff in the Manufacturing Information Automation department at AT&T Engineering Research Center Princeton New Jersey. He received an A.B. in mathematics from Cornell University and an M.S.E. in computer science from Princeton University. Mr. Hsu who joined AT&T in 1970 is a department head in the Manufacturing Information Automation department at the Engineering Research Center. He received an M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri. Mr. McEachern joined AT&T in 1962 and is a supervisor in the 5ESS™ Line Unit Manufacturing department at AT&T Technologies in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. He is responsible for the manufacturing process control center in Oklahoma City which provides computerized support for all circuit pack manufacturing. Mr. Stocking who joined AT&T in 1975 is a supervisor in the Manufacturing Information Automation department at the Engineering Research Center. He received a B.S. in chemical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of California Berkeley. Mr. Swartz joined AT&T in 1980 and is a member of the technical staff in the Manufacturing Information Automation department at the Engineering Research Center. He received an A.B. in computer science from Cornell University and an M.S. in computer science from Rutgers—The State University. Mr. Trombly who joined AT&T in 19 78 is an assistant manager at the AT&T Merrimack Valley Works in Massachusetts. Previously he was a supervisor at the Engineering Research Center. He holds a B.S. in computers and systems engineering and an M.S.E.E. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

The central challenge of all manufacturing is making products to the right standards and delivering them at the right time. AT&T is upgrading its corporate and factory resource planning systems to improve control of day-to-day manufacturing. The Manufacturing Process Control System (MPCS), developed at the AT&T Engineering Research Center (ERC), provides this support. MPCS connects the shop floor with production scheduling, accounting, product data archive, and engineering support systems.
