The dependences of the inverter current on the parameters of the resonant circuit of the high-voltage transformer-less resonant charger of capacitive energy storage device was obtained. Both transformer and transformer-less resonant high-voltage chargers were simulated. A comparison of the inverter switches currents of transformer and transformer-less chargers circuits was performed. The actual advantages of transformer-less charging circuits for high-voltage technologies are determined.

The paper presents a computer wireless fire-fighting system based on the ATmega 328 microcontroller. This system is capable of GSM-sending fire alerts to the user's mobile device, as well as accumulating data in the cloud environment Rightech IoT. The structure of this system based on the principle of modularity and its schematic diagram were considered. The means of algorithmic and software implementation are described and the operation of the system is checked in practice.

The paper focuses on performing safe, coordinated, and effectively integrated flights in and around an urban area using Unmanned Arial Vehicles (UAV). The tasks are considered: the choice of territory for UAV flights; analysis, evaluation of terrain, and obstructions, drawing up a map indicating the risks of passing obstructions; GRID analysis of the selected fragment of territory; risk assessment according to the type of zone from “Restricted area” to “Dangerous area” obtained;finding the routes of the minimum risk and maximum safety using the method of dynamic programming. The algorithms by the UAV operators in an emergency and selecting optimal landing aerodrome/place/vertiport using decision-making methods in uncertainty are presented. Examples of finding safe routes for UAV flights are presented: monitoring and overflight of power lines, delivery of medical supplies, and decision-making models in emergencies: flights in bad weather conditions and loss of communication with UAV.

The article deals with the problem of controlling the flow of information coming from a group of unmanned aerial vehicles by radio channel. The stream is a sequence of binary information packages. The inevitable data losses compensated by repetition of lost packages. Modern methods control of data flow assumes using a mechanism automatic repetition query based on the method of sliding window. In this paper the comparative analyses of the known methods are given. The property matching the volume of information, which transmitted from UAVs with the size M of the sliding window, is set. In base of theoretical calculations is used the concept of bandwidth. Computing bandwidth radio channel with the automatic repetition query technology allows are confirming the main result investigation.

Relationships between the desired load characteristics and parameters of the elements of the power unit of the frequency converter on the basis of the resonant inverter with nonlinear control were studied. Analytical dependences of these parameters on the specified load characteristics were received. Static and dynamic characteristics of the frequency converter with the parameters, computed in accordance to the received analytical dependences were plotted and investigated.

A discrete dynamic model of a double-circuit resonant converter with a synchronous rectifier is constructed. The discrete transfer function of the resonant converter for the counter oscillations was determined. Simulation modeling of the considered converter was carried out for comparison the experimental results with the theoretical study results.

A high-frequency electrospark treatment (HFEST) method for the synthesis of submicron tungsten carbide powder from tungsten granules in carbon-containing organic liquid has been developed. The developed pulse power supply provides the specified characteristics of discharge current in the range from 10 to 100 A and voltage in the range from 100 to 600 V. The specified productivity of up to 15 g/h is achieved by the high frequency up to 10 kHz of discharge pulses and voltage of 600 V. X-ray structural analysis of the obtained powder, which was executed on general purpose radiological diffractometer (GPRD-4-07) with the molybdenum cathode, showed fractions of tungsten and tungsten carbides. The image of the particles surface morphology of the obtained powder were executed with JSM-6700F scanning electron microscope confirms that the particles have the linear size from 40 to 200 nm. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

New models of dual antenna Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers with improved characteristics have appeared recently on the world market. Thus the scope of problems which might be solved has been significantly expanded. The paper considers the possibility of using modern dual antenna receivers to solve some practical problems of angular orientation. An experimental study of dual antenna GPS receiver models using ALIGN © technology from NovAtel is being carried out. Effective methods for improving the accuracy of a dual antenna GPS receiver are proposed. The subject of the article is the study of the possibility of using dual-Antenna GPS systems for solving practical problems of navigation and steering. The study used the methods of experimental research, experiment planning, as well as statistical processing of the data. The results obtained make it possible to formulate practical recommendations on the use of dual-Antenna systems for solving specific problems of navigation and steering.

The article is based on the previous authors’ research of electromagnetic processes in the flyback resonant converter for wireless energy transfer. According to the results of theoretical calculations, load and control characteristics of flyback resonant converter for wireless energy transfer in ship degaussing systems were obtained. To verify the theoretical results, the operation of a resonant flyback converter was simulated in LTSpice.
