For those tests rotor was blocked and different DC currents were driven through excitation and armature winding. In this paper the quadrotor dynamic model with nonlinear inputs is presented. Deadzone and saturation nonlinear inputs are considered for the quadrotor reflected to the actuators. The goal is to obtain a faithful mathematical representation of the mechanical system for system analysis and control design, not only in hover as presented in many works, but also in motion when take-off, land and flight for aerial navigation task. The model was implemented in Matlab/Simulink simulation model to optimize the design and to project control. Simulations of the model show that the nonlinear inputs must be considered in the control project.

This paper studies the fixed-order controllers design problem for multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) systems. Polynomial methods are employed to design a controller that guarantees all the closed-loop poles reside within given D-stability regions. An H infin optimization approach is proposed to minimize the interaction between different channels of the MIMO system. Sufficient conditions for the existence of such a fixed-controller is established by using the linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) approach.

Among different power quality parameters, the voltage total harmonic distortion is important and often-analyzed category. Different indices have already been suggested to measure and to monitor both the current and the voltage distortion in power systems, but harmonic site characterization still cannot be performed in satisfactory way. The state of the harmonic distortion is difficult to predict due to variability and a large number of unknown, such as detailed consumer and system characteristics. In this paper a new index describing the total harmonic distortion in current measurements, total rated distortion (TRD), is suggested in order to simplify and standardize harmonic current measurements. Another index representing the increase of harmonic voltage distortion with TRD, equivalent harmonic impedance z_(eq), is proposed as an efficient way of characterizing a particular site. Finally, extensive harmonic measurements of a real distribution system were performed to prove the usefulness of the proposed indices.

In this paper, we study the global robust synchronization problem of the controlled Duffing system and the Van der Pol oscillator. By employing the internal model approach, we first show that the problem can be converted into a global robust stabilization problem of a time-varying nonlinear system in lower triangular form. Then we show that the global stabilization problem of the lower triangular system is solvable, thus leading to the solution of the global robust synchronization problem.
