This paper, based on the analysis of the features of electron probe image, expatiates on image fusion applied to electron probe multi-source image process and popular wavelet, and tries to use the method of Wcdgelet new wavelet transposition to combine two electron probe image. Experiments show that, multi-source electron probe process is more overall, more precise than any single-source image, which is good for further image analysis and process such as identical micro surface target recognition, impurity feature extraction and etc.

The research in this paper focuses on an approach to reverse engineering Web-based legacy systems with the integration of model-driven engineering and UML. Three types of link-based models of Web-based legacy systems are presented. Web-based legacy systems are parsed to find judgement conditions of model, and UML diagrams are described based on the modelling rules.

Service-oriented computing is becoming a direction of computing technology. For realising the mission of service-oriented computing, service-oriented architecture has been proposed to facilitate the application development via discoverable services distributed on Internet. That brings out service-oriented modelling as a new technical area to provide modelling and analysis techniques of service-oriented applications. The paper proposes a framework for agent-based service-oriented modelling. It treats both the service providers and the service requesters as service agents. Domain ontology has been used to provide the sharable domain knowledge as well as terminology for allowing the agents to understand each others. A modelling process has also been illustrated with the model development of an online auction service.

Recently, combining a video recording of a presentation along with the digital slides used in it has become popular in e-learning and presentation of archives. For users of the archives, it is useful to preview a digest of such content to grasp the atmosphere and/or an outline of the presentation. This paper proposes a method of automatic digest generation by extracting important scenes from the presentation content. The extracted scenes are chosen based on several factors such as frequency and specificity of words, scene duration and order. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed methods are evaluated by comparing with testers' answer sets for actual lectures.

Routing in MANETs can be accomplished through either single path or multiple paths. Multipath routing may be used for various other reasons such as load-balancing, congestion avoidance, lower frequency of route inquiries and to achieve a lower overall routing overhead and better fault-tolerance. However, multipath routing shows degraded performance with increased distance between the source node and the destination node. Following a policy of divide and rule, a node-balanced scheme is proposed to solve this problem. In the proposed scheme, first the munipath routing protocol is used to find the best routing path from the source node to the destination node;then the routing path is divided into several segments and every segment is traded with the multipath routing policy. As every segment has the best performance, the performance of the whole network is improved accordingly. Furthermore how the moderate node is chosen to replace the failed node between the two adjacent segments is also discussed. Simulation results show that the new scheme not only significantly improves the performance of the network, but also can find more number of routing paths when increasing the distance between the source nodes and the destination nodes. The new scheme is also very easy to implement.
